if there is a way to see when specific threads are being locked and unlocked
Nope.
All you can do is frequently check the topic.created a
TOPIC about other member Lightlord, that is know to have serious health issues.
This wasn't known when the topic was opened.
disregarding several members (including me) asking to lock the topic.
I
argued the opposite: keep it open, because it's the reference topic for the neutral feedback I left. Although
examplens post made me realize it's better to lock it because "
it is obvious that we should leave him alone for now".
Interesting thing happened after that, topic was locked, and then magically unlocked just so that butthurt thin skin member could use his alt account (or his buddy)
naim027 to make a post and seconds after that to lock this topic all over again.
So he enabled his alt-account (buddy) to reply to my post not allowing me to answer anything, and not only that that Poker Player even merited this post.
Disregarding your speculation about the "why" and "who", none of this strikes me as unacceptable.
Please check out time and see that topic was locked second/minutes after post made by
naim027, and it was locked for hours before that.
Other members who participated in that conversation could probably confirm my claims.
It's the first time I see it locked, so I can't say anything about it.
Do you think Poker Player behavior is acceptable?
I was surprised by the quick escalation between you (dkbit98) and Poker Player in that topic. It made me wonder if that is based on previous encounters and not just on the topic. The attacks weren't necessary, but I do appreciate the use of (de-escalating) neutral feedback in your (plural) little feut.
If you're watching the topic you get e-mail notifications. The topic was locked three times and unlocked twice.
I learned something new
Do you know for a fact that lightlord truly has health issues? I know that was what he claimed, but has that claim been substantiated?
For me, his post about it is enough. I don't think we should require medical records to check someone's story.
And I don't think any hospital registers him as "lightlord", just like "LoyceV" won't ever get hospital papers.I can also imagine he doesn't need additional worries about his 10 years old online reputation at this moment.
adding to the lists of ignoring each other seems to me the best solution if someone disagrees with someone.
Why? What's wrong with disagreeing with someone? It sounds like snowflakism to not talk to someone again because you don't always agree with him. I'd say ignore people if you don't value their posts and never want to read them again.
See, I disagree. You're not going to ignore me now and
hurt my feelings, are you?
This thread, is supposedly about whether my behavior is acceptable. Which the cyberbully who created this thread already threatened me with before I locked LL reputation thread
Why do you consider that a
threat? If anyone wants to create an "Is LoyceV's behaviour acceptable"-topic: let them
Go fuck yourself.
a childishly angry person like the OP
the angry 7 year old
a toddler tantrum
I sense some anger indeed.... I think this is getting to you much more than an anonymous person on the internet should ever be able to.
I would like if moderators could confirm that you really talked in PM several times without exposing the content or your messages, but you can also post screenshot of that yourself.
This doesn't seem important enough for
Mods Admins to start snooping around in PMs.
