This is a new way to hack or scam people, they send fake tokens with a great value and if you are going to try to withdraw it, you have to connect with your wallet and this will put you on a bigger trouble. I have a lot of fake tokens as well since I do participate on Bounties before and I guess this is the main reason for that, if you put your address in public, you are expose to scammers and hackers.
Better way is to avoid transacting with tokens that we don't join any giveaways. For sure everyone knows if the tokens are fake or not or at least we've been interacted with. That's the problem with some newbies they thought they received airdrop and when they claimed it their funds gone connecting to a malware or some hackers software.

Both my Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain has already received those strange tokens where I don't remember I've joined any airdrop with them but I think it came from those hackers who wanted to get some access to our wallet by luring us to their site and they will use the information we fill up on their so-called form on their website to hack us. We better be careful and vigilant to this kind of crooks, they quickly know how to fool us as soon as we get to their turf.

Just ignored mate. Nothing would happened, I think I got almost all of my wallets haha, damn these scammers they literally device an automatic send of spam tokens to any wallet that are moving or does make such transactions.

I wonder how they are doing this kind of approach through smart contract.

I'm usually using Yieldwatch to keep track of my yield results, however, its uptime was average the past few days and resorted to Growing.fi. I noticed that my Net Worth was strange looking, showing more than $500,000 worth of coins, which startled me. Upon further investigation, my wallet appears full of some sketchy looking tokens.

Their website prompts you to connect your wallet, but I'd rather not to, how did these appear? Why are in my wallet, and why is Growing.fi showing them and Yieldwatch isn't?
Every time scammers are always coming up with new tactics on how they will scam people. This is another of their tactics that they are now trying to use to scam a lot of people these days. So, you have to be very careful, and do not link your wallet to any of their websites,  because if you should link your wallet to any of their website, you would end up being scammed, and all the assets in your wallet will be cleared at once. So, I am just going to advise you to leave those tokens , and if there’s an option in your wallet to delete them, you can simply click on delete and wipe them out for good. Some greedy people are still going to fall for tactics like this.

I check one of my addresses and I found out I have $14,652.525 worth of unknown MNEP token they are showing the wrong data because on https://bscscan.com/ address checker, this token is not present in my wallet and it's not also listed on both Coingecko and Coinmarketcap, it's a trap and you can get your account hack if you open using their application.

If we have announced a BSC or Polygon address and there has been a transaction then there is a chance to get free tokens, unfortunately the free tokens are a scammer's way to steal our assets so it is better to ignore it, there is nothing we can do with these tokens and for security then never open the site listed in the sender's wallet.
So far, there have been many fake tokens that automatically enter BSC and Polygon wallets, but the strange thing is that only happens to wallets that have already made transactions, not to new wallets or wallets that have never made transactions.

I suggest to be vigilant, don't be too easy to connect our wallets carelessly, there have been many cases like this and if there are tokens that you don't recognize then you should ignore them, this is the risk of low transaction fees that makes scammers want to steal our assets.

I thought it could be a phishing token where by transacting the token it opens access to your wallet. So far I have seen a lot of losing their assets even though they meticulously opened websites without being exposed to fake websites. My guess is that these fake tokens are another cause of their loss of assets. Usually I use https://app.unrekt.net/ to cancel signatures on a platform so as not to get fake tokens.

I believe this is the handiwork of scammers. Just leave them there. Never be tempted to try to swap them, that is where you expose your wallet to the scammers
As long as don't swap it, you are safe.

I think, almost all BSC wallets that have made transactions have these coins. these coins look very valuable and make us inclined to sell these coins in their intended market. however, this is the type of scam that exists today. should be, we do not need to care about it is in our wallet. honestly I want to make it not in my wallet by sending it to another wallet. however, I chose to do nothing with the coins. there are very many types of such coins or tokens in my wallet at the moment.

I also received unknown tokens at BSC, Rinkberry and Polygon, it seems the scammer hopes that by sending the token he can hack our wallet, this is an old technique that has happened in ETH, and I once lost my token when I clicked on an unknown site, something that can happen What we do should be to create a new wallet and empty the balance in the wallet.

Honestly, I never came to it across in the past, before it happened to me. This whole DeFi sector is filled with scams and phising attempts, I was used to such attempts throughout my journey in crypto, however, I feel like they are everywhere nowadays. Discord is filled with bots and scammers, while you need to be extra careful when importing tokens on Decentralized Exchanges (such as Pancake), and especially when dealing with wallets such as TrustWallet or Metamask.

I also have incomprehensible tokens in my wallet. It is better not to touch them, but first, find out what it is and where it is from. The tokens came somehow and I decided to withdraw them. They took a big commission from me. And only then did I find the information that it was fake.

Yes, I also noticed that unknown tokens go exactly to those wallets that already have transactions. Moreover, the number of tokens is always a multiple of 10, or even 100. I actually thought that it was some teams of new projects that send their tokens as advertising. I also checked them by accounts and such tokens were not listed anywhere. I was not interested in them anymore. Now I will be more careful with them, especially since I will not open their sites.
Cryptocurrency scammers often play on the possible greed of the participants in this market.

This is a new way for scammers to cheat is to send large amounts of tokens to wallets BSC, Polygon, Ropsten and so on, they hope the recipient connects to the wallet soon so that all tokens of value they will steal, better leave a comment in the comments tab on the address contract link so that other users know.

I don't think it's strange, is it all bounty results or do you often follow airdrops?
I just checked my total bep20 wealth on Growing.fi, I have a fairly large amount which I then add custom to my trustwallet and it's ready to be sold when the price is high according to my target.

If your number or wealth data doesn't appear in Yieldwatch, I don't think you need to worry.

As for the problem. Their website asks you to link your wallet.. well you shouldn't do it as the experts have mentioned here for the safety of your assets.

Did you read his response about this? He said that he didn't participate in any bounties or airdrops. That's why he is asking how the hell they got his address/es.

Myself have seen a lot of this in past, even I received such unknown token in my wallet.

My best advise is just totally ignore it mate, and don't be curious about it.
Yeah, long back itself this is there. I've seen this in myetherwallet. When I check for the rewards from bounties I used to see some additional tokens which weren't part of the bounty as well as which isn't available in the market. But, here the value is very big and it'll surely tempt users to give a try and analyse what it is all about. Within my wallet the number of tokens seems to be high, but the values were not more than $5

Does their website ask you to also link your wallet like the op discussion, he said he would rather not do it, how about you?

I just saw my tokenpocket wallet there are tokens that are not clear, GFNC and PAL. I can't be sure where I got this from, GFNC and PAL TRC20 network. do you know about this token?

Be careful, many unknown tokens is coming to almost wallet in the world. Usually the balance suddenly come and it shows the value (almost a few till a thousand dollar).
But that's all is fake. Usually the users call this as DUST TOKEN.
Make sure you don't invest on it, on its platform. And don't send or swap the token everywhere because once you do it, may be your wallet is in danger.

Dude beware. You are a victim of a dust attack. Scammers collect public wallet addresses and send tokens to them. But you can't exchange such tokens in exchanges like Pancakeswap because of low or no liquidity. So you have no choice than to head to their website where your wallet is hacked if you connect to their portal

Yeah, first thing I did was to check if they existed on PancakeSwap and BSCscan, of course, neither searches yielded no results. Only possible way to "trade" them, was through their website, which was sketchy looking to say the least, requiring you to connect your wallet.

Day by day some unwanted Coins are being added to the wallet which are showing a lot of value but they have no value in any market. They are just scam Coins.  If you go to exchange those coins, gas fee will be deducted in any way, there will be no exchange and there is a possibility of wallet being hacked.

I've lost 200$ trying to sell a token that i saw in my ETH address months ago since then I've learned about this scammers trick, don't ever try to claim token that you never worked for, if you see token in your wallet that isn't yours just leave it or stop using the address
