No, right now market is showing some recovery and it might be for the news of Elon Musk announcement about accepting dogecoins for spacex. When some positive news hit the market, it may attract investors for all the cryptos including bitcoins. Usually people do arrive into this crypto space after got convinced about bitcoin's potential but they may choose altcoins as well in the end due to diversification reasons.

Similarly crypto space may enter into bullish mode after there is a positive news for dogecoins/altcoins. I guess the next two weeks of this year must be too crucial on deciding about the trend of 2022. Hopefully we will have another stronger bullish rally in 2022.

The reason that you have a huge loss a lot is just because you don't have proper management of your asset which is turn into being trapped while the market has been dropped and AFAIK, most traders in this situation will most likely take a break for a while.

No, I feel a positive vibe that the market will never be the same as before.  We gained a lot of investors even those institutional or individual investors and some factors of there are few countries making Bitcoin legal tender and I don't think there will be a huge drop like hitting almost in the ground.

We know which one weak hand and has diamond hand when bitcoin and altcoin still dump, I loss opportunity with many my altcoin assets back to lower price and keep holding, maybe if have saving and much money right now I will buy back with many altcoin as my portfolio and potential back to higher price, always bigger chance with bitcoin and altcoin price dump when I have entry and buy many altcoin.

As long as he can hold his coins and not try to sell at a low price, he will have a chance to sell the coins at a high price, especially if the coin is bitcoin because we know that bitcoin will increase higher and will have the opportunity to hit the next ATH. Saving in the USDT form will be a good idea because when many potential coins are down, they can directly buy using USDT to have the chance to sell it back at a high price. USDT could be a good way to save their money value before converting it into bitcoin or altcoin later.

I also feel that this is a common thing, however the fluctuations in the crypto world are very fast especially bitcoin.
other than that, the current situation is very clearly different from 2018. we know that currently the support of bitcoin is very large. if you feel lost, you can sell your assets, or wait for new opportunities in the coming year. personally, I'm still optimistic about the new ATH in 2022.

But remember one thing that if market is high in value then never have to buy your coin this is because you will waste all of your money.
