I want to hold this Most discussed altcoin after ether and bnb. Is it possible it could reach $100 or more in next bull run? Or It would suffer to break its old ath that time due to competition with similar project?

It depends. If there's huge demand for Polkadot, then it could easily reach $100 or more. Otherwise, not. With so many competing smart contract platforms, it's getting harder to know which coins will stay and which will fade into oblivion. Polkadot's developer team needs to focus on innovation, if they want their project to succeed. With shiny-new features, DOT could gain the attention of mainstream investors and traders alike. Crypto is all a gamble so you could either win or lose it all in an instant due to wild fluctuations in price. What matters is decentralization and censorship-resistance. As long as Polkadot is able to stay that way, it'll last a lifetime. Just my opinion

I also strongly agree that polka dots can reach a price of $100 but it is not impossible if the price movement is normal and the market is in good condition but for now I think we also need great patience to wait for the polka dots to rise to such a high level you mention it even for the next few years maybe.

Nowadays almost everyone has to be patient in waiting for a good price on all the coins they like because Polkadot and some other coins also have a very large rate of drop in price so it's been taking a long time to upgrade again

Polkadot will be reach $100+ in 2021 and it will be possibility. I think market condition depends on Bitcoin price. Bitcoin price little drop this year,i think it will be recover very soon.When bitcoin price will be pump,then market condition will be green signal. if indeed this year will be able to recover and be the same as in 2021, the possibility will always be possible because the ATH that has been made by DOT is already high enough so that if bitcoin does improve, it is certain that DOT is able to reach $100 is reasonable and appropriate.

It has possibility to reach $100 but it will take a couple of year time. $DOT price now is $26. in this crash market no coin can't pump 4x and even DOT. it can take around 2-3 years for happening these

because I see nothing for this to make that part of increase instead what I see here is a dying one in the next couple of year

Indeed Polkadot is one of the potential coins but we also need to be realistic,

The dot coin is a coin of the Polkadot ecosystem and we all know what hype it has created in the market in recent times.  It is currently priced at around $21 which is 60% below the ATH price.  At present, its price is very low but many people call it Ether killer for some special benefits.  As it is more versatile than the Ether network, it gives developers more than one platform, they can also work on new crypto on the same platform.  Basically, developers find it more convenient and comfortable to work on Polkadot.  This is why Polkadot is currently more popular among developers and its investors are basically developers. 

Dot is much newer than Bitcoin and Ethereum so I think it will take some time for more investment to come.  However, since it has taken a strong position in the market, I am bullish about it in the long run.  I think the price of the dot can easily cross $100.

Same here, however, the market seemed not bullish anymore and Polkadot is not exempted from the dump. The trend is going down and it's giving us an opportunity to accumulate. Currently the price is $21, I think it's cheap enough considering it has already been introduce to the investors and it gains a decent amount of volume, if it keeps dumping then the right strategy is to keep accumulating.

One year is not a short period of time but its still a good achievement, at least it increase within that period while other projects merely increase or start dying after a year. It is already 50 dollars and only half way to go reach 100, it is not that far and what was the announcement all about? They would not want to do something that can make their coin down but maybe they just fix something in order to improve it because polkadot is still new compare to its other competitors.

It's okay if the process will delay the ATH of the coin but at least it will be xxx times better than before once the upgrade was done. It is worth the wait.

I also like Polkadot (with the staking interest you get, the parachains and other stuff) but reaching 100$ will not be easy. The ATH was a little bit above 50$, with the launch of the parachains, but right now the price is only 18$ so it will take a while before we even reach a new ATH.

Anything below $100 would be considered a bargain. Polkadot is one of the few projects which deliver concrete results to the mainstream world instead of being hyped up by its supporters (like it's the case with Solana and "meme" coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu). It's a smart contract platform with an emphasis on scalability, using Ethereum's tried-and-tested EVM for the deployment and execution of decentralized applications. I'm pretty sure mainstream developers will choose DOT for the launch of new and exciting dApps in the crypto/Blockchain space. It's as good as Polygon (MATIC) and Avalanche (AVAX).

I believe DOT's price is declining because of the bear market. This might be a great opportunity to grab some cheap coins before everything goes back up again. If it gains traction, then it could easily reach well above $100 per coin. Ultimately, it's all about the usefulness of a coin (not the price). As long as Polkadot is useful, it'll last a lifetime. Every coin had some unique technical background. If the background of the coin is strong, you can inverse your valuable money. Don't inverse randomly and get into loss.Only coin with good background will survived for huge period.Bitcoin is the decentralized coin, so it was survived from 2013 and so on. Polkadot is good coin and we can able to see the high value soon. So hold your Polkadot for longer to get huge profit.
