I am not expecting ATH in January but ATH can be at any time, if bitcoin price can decrease from $30000 to $69000 in short time in the last one that occur, bitcoin price can increase and reach ATH at any time. Just let us hold and be happy with the bullish outcome. Even bitcoin has been bullish when it falled to $40800. By ATH you mean more than 68k or more than 100k?
Many analyzes expect that we will reach levels close to 100k in 2022, specifically in the first quarter of that year, but the question is how long will the prices continue and how will the correction levels be.

It is wrong to build hypotheses based on inaccurate analyzes, but in general I can say that the bottom is at 20k, and therefore you should base your calculations on this, and therefore any level above 20k is a gain for you.

As for reaching 100k, it will be temporary and fast.

I don't know why the people who have entered crypto last year feel that markets can make new ATHs every month, markets don't work this way, they go north and then go south, infact many a times they remain bearish for a very long period of times which we generally call the accumulation phase when market participants especially the very big players try to buy their holdings slowly at very low prices, it's generally after this accumulation gets completed that market starts to go bullish. But then also no one really know "when", charts can help you predict bear or bull phase but no one can tell new ATH very accurately.

I wasn’t really hoping for 2022 to be the year, I was only expecting the price to go up this December before the year 2021 is over. That was how it happened the last time that we saw the market reach an all time high price. Around December the prices in the market increased and reached a new all time high price, so I’m also looking forward to seeing the same thing happen before this December is over.

We are already at the latest days of December, I doubt it would happen anymore. I mean maybe a small increase but I doubt it could break even ATH let alone go to a super high levels. I feel like the bull market will start in 2022, we have less than a week remaining in 2021 and we should stop caring about whats going on with the prices for this year.

If we are making predictions, go beyond a week and try to see the whole year. 2022 will come in at a time when covid is still spreading around, but it is not as deadly anymore, even though the number of people getting positive results got a uptick, the dying is getting lower and lower.

In fairness, I have stopped predicting or expecting too much from the Bitcoin market and that's not because I am negative about it but because I am certain the growth will happen but since the market is mammoth it will take time to expand. The growth initially is faster and then it gets stable and slow as will be the case with BTC. This is the reason why I prefer altcoins above BTC at the moment when it comes to trading actively.

When it comes to holding and larger trades, yes BTC is the king, no doubt about that. And talking of ATH, I think there is little to no doubt that we will touch a new ATH within 2022 but the real question is what price will we retain after reaching that point. I would say, not all the time TA would work if we're going to talk about Bitcoin price movement since it's been like this for years but with the combination of FA it's most likely gonna get the approximate result. That being said, I am still bullish even after this year and probably there will be a long bullish most of the month next year. That would make Bitcoin to stay a little longer in a bullish trend until the correction.

I would not call them greedier because everyone is here for some reason which must be making profits hence expecting bitcoin market to keep achieving a new ATH must be a common one but unfortunately all such wishes are not getting fulfilled.

Moreover, bitcoin must be already into bullish mode because we are trading around $50k for more than 2 days which must be enough duration to consider about sustainability of bitcoin market to get into a rally. The power of long term holding has been explained and emphasized across this forum but unfortunately most people do want to remain only short term traders for no valid reason. What happens is that people are mostly interested in trading very short time frames, it is obvious that if you zoom out your trading chart you will that the market has been going up for more than a year, we have seen some corrections along the way but this is natural and it is to be expected in any bull run regardless of the market we are taking about, still another reason is that people are just that greedy and they do not care about all of that growth we have experienced, they still want more profits, and as such any slowdown of the growth of bitcoin or a correction are enough for them to think the bull market is over.

Indeed, not the first I'd heard such a question from a newcomer. I think that OP seems a need to know more about the market and understand it. Either we ask for a Bullrun or bearish season, it simply we don't know. As we experience good in 2021, it is possibly the same by next year (2022) but never have the assurance that it goes like that.

Nobody basicallly knows when the next Bullrun will occur. But Bitcoin is likely to rise higher this year. Additionally, I am an optimistic person and I always think that BTC will have a continuous ATH every year or every 2 years.

Current stabilization or can say as corrections, indicate that there is going to be a pump in either 2 weeks or a month. Yes last year, we had the price pump twice. Since November, its taking a time for breathing. Its really good to see Bitcoin remaining between $40k to $50k which indicates that Bitcoin has really crossed its next milestone and marching forward. Many here, are expecting Btc to reach $100k and thats the positivism and this will certainly push everyone forward and bring more investors into it.
