As much as possible if we were able to buy it at price that seems low from its ATH then buy. Bitcoin is too volatile to predict when will the price go high and up to how much it can reach. What’s good about it is the price is able to go higher whenever there is hype or bull market occurs. The price increase depends on the bype crypto gets from personalities and economy so if we have some to save and plan for long term buying it and waiting for bull market  make us gain profit.

Last week bitcoin went down to 45000 usd and IMO it was a reasonable price to buy but irony was we start seeing posts like "are we going in bear market like that of 2018?" Bla Bla. Today after a week bitcoin is standing firmly at 51000 USD. The point is when bitcoin  goes away from its ATH, majority start running away from it.

Anything is possible in crypto market but as much as we prepare for bull season we must also be ready in any worst case scenario.

Yeah, people are eagerly anticipating about bullish trend but they do fail about handle the bearish market situation effectively. If you are not a long term holder then you should plan up something to face negative market situations without affecting you more intensively.

I am stunned at OP question that when bull market will start? I mean what else value Bitcoin need to take to convince people that its bull market now. Right now bitcoin is at 51k and for last 6 to 7 months bitcoin is trading above 50k. IMO people who have bought BTC at ATH are looking for this 100k target to get there profit.

I think we are in the bull market since April 2021 because the Bitcoin market has seen on two accessions an all-time high price and at the moment Bitcoin is priced somewhere around 51k or above which is an indication of what to expect in the coming year.
2022 is going to be a great year for bitcoin so let us keep expecting the best in the coming year.

That's where it all started. Everyone got to see that the market went up and bitcoin reached the 2017 ATH by that year.

What we're experiencing is just a continuation of the bull run and two actual ATHs were met.

yes, we can expect from the start of January 2022 bull market, as previous history bull market from December and January staring time but nowadays down due to Covid19, so Bitcoin will be new ATH in 2022 and this bull run will continue until ATH not reached.

Exactly you are correct, as Previous history we can expect Bull market From January but for Pandemic we can miss this.

What happens is that people are mostly interested in trading very short time frames, it is obvious that if you zoom out your trading chart you will that the market has been going up for more than a year, we have seen some corrections along the way but this is natural and it is to be expected in any bull run regardless of the market we are taking about, still another reason is that people are just that greedy and they do not care about all of that growth we have experienced, they still want more profits, and as such any slowdown of the growth of bitcoin or a correction are enough for them to think the bull market is over.

Yeah, most people from bitcointalk are confident about having bulls in action in 2022 as well. Basically when more number of people are expecting such bull action then market definitely will obey to their speculation which has been proved true many times and I guess 2022 will be another exciting year for all long term bitcoin holders. To ensure that, we must make use of the currently available dips.

Moreover OP is concerned about only bull market and not about the ATH which means bitcoin market may turn bullish at any time hence even the last day of 2021 also must be having decent chances to provide that. Do not underestimate the power of bitcoin market as it is known for surprising everyone.

This year has a day left so there is no point in expecting any bull runs again this year, 2022 is surely going to be a bullish year because the price had corrected well enough at this point in time and probably the dump or correction of the market might be as a result of exchange of bitcoin to fiat by the Chinese in preparation for their new year celebrations, once that is done, I am optimistic that the bull run will trigger in 2022 all that is required now is to hodl, wait and expect another ATH in 2022 which well achievable because history repeat itself.

From what I see lately, Bitcoin is likely sideways, the price hardly moves significantly. We don't know where this will go, it can be bullish or bearish.
Anyway, do you mean the chance to buy in this correction phase? For myself, I prefer holding but have no intention to buy more since not really confident the price be pumped again above $60k.

Almost everyone expected the price of bitcoin to reach another high price before the year runs. There were even people who were predicting that bitcoin will reach $100,000 before 2021 is over, but now the year is over and Bitcoin still stays at below $50,000. I never believed what they were saying, because I personally felt that the bull run was already over for Bitcoin and it has reached the highest price that it would for this year.

Although I was kind of going to believe what they were saying when the price of bitcoin reached $63,000 and dropped and still came back again to cross that price to reach a new ATH. As for next year, I am not really looking forward to ATH price, but I believe the market would do well.

Indeed, not the first I'd heard such a question from a newcomer. I think that OP seems a need to know more about the market and understand it. Either we ask for a Bullrun or bearish season, it simply we don't know. As we experience good in 2021, it is possibly the same by next year (2022) but never have the assurance that it goes like that.

It is eventually we need to keep our trust and make ourselves being optimistic on the incomings. Even though the market doesn't look good early next year but we can't conclude that it will be the same scenario until the end of the year. No, we can't just put aside the volatility of the market which it makes more unpredictable.

It is a very common question but at the same time the answer to it can be rendered completely useless with the right strategy, after all if a person decides to just hold their coins for the long term then it becomes irrelevant when the bull market will begin as they will be invested in the market when that happens and they will get all the benefits that come with it, the ones that need to be interested in something like it are those that trade the markets, as their performance is directly related to how accurate they can answer that question.

And the prize would seem surprising as well but that gonna be a profit in the end. I do hold just like you did but I also sell some, not because I was worried for the more dumps to come, I was certainly just in need.

Well, Bullrun will come at any time, nothing we can assure that it even comes this year. However. with what we are seeing now, we can see a positivity to it that this year will possibly be bullish again, but somehow I'm not yet thinking for ATH. As you've said, patience is always the key to making profits.

Yea this year looks like it's better if we keep buy the dip and wait for another bullrun but I doubt if this year will be a big bull coming. Just gather more coins that you trusted and wait until the time comes, staking looks good to me while watching the market movement and increasing my balance while doing nothing but keep in mind to use a staking platform that is trusted.
