COSMO MINING


COSMO is mined by wagering on any game (in-house games and third party games) on BetGalaxy.

COSMO mining has an escalating price structure, that increases with every 10,000,000 minted tokens. Each stage has 10 levels, and each level within the stage has a price increase associated with it:

Stage 1, Level 1: $0.05 ($5 wagered at a 1% edge, or $1.25 wagered at a 4% edge)
Stage 1, Level 2: $0.1 ($10 wagered at a 1% edge, or $2.5 wagered at a 4% edge)
Stage 1, Level 3: $0.15 ($15 wagered at a 1% edge, or $3.75 wagered at a 4% edge)

Each time the stage increases, the cost per level increases by an additional $0.05

Stage 1: +$0.05 per level
Stage 2: +$0.1 per level
Stage 3: +$0.15 per level
…

With BetGalaxy 2.0, we have “Mint Cost”, this number implies the amount of money each token should cost to mine.

COSMO RECYCLING / BURNING

Other profit-sharing casinos have struggled to combat dilution. Early players earn tons of the in-house token like COSMO and become leeches on the profit from the rest of the sites existence. We have solved this.

How does it work?
Each day, there will be a “Decay Rate”, the Decay Rate is always 2x whatever the current Mint Cost is for the stage/level. So during Stage 1: Level 1, the Mint Cost is $0.05, and the Decay Rate is $0.1, and on that day for every $0.1 you receive from Dividend rewards, 1 of your tokens will decay and recycle.

Does it benefit to get in early?
Yes! It absolutely benefits to get in early, because the more Mint Cost increases (the more levels that are completed) before you have decayed your entire supply, effectively grants additional returns above the 200% that you are guaranteed to receive at minimum.

Does dilution become a problem?
It does not, because of how this system works, there will always be tokens decaying and reducing the supply of tokens that are sharing the dividend pool. This allows for a constant sustainable reward system for miners. Regardless of what stage/level they enter, they will earn 200% back, at minimum.

What happens to recycled tokens?
Tokens that are recycled are added to additional stages at the end of the mining model. Currently there are 10 stages with 10 levels per stage, the tokens that are temporarily burned are added as stages to the end.

Our dividend pool will consist of all currencies that are playable on the platform. The dividend pool contains all total profit of the platform (losses minus wins). All players earn dividends in all available currencies.

Each day, 3% of the total dividend pool will distribute to all COSMO holders. This will credit directly to their balances on BetGalaxy.io

I was wondering if we could get more details about the new token and it's dilution effects. The burning seems very promising, but I was wondering if any scenarios have been modelled out to see how it compares to not burning models.

Comparing with traditional models... any burning is better than no burning. This model allows for a consistent recycling of the dilution of the tokens receiving dividends, and thus any dilution problems that do occur, are self-resolving over time. Ultimately eliminating the dilution problem entirely.

It’s good that they actually go on a process and looks more serious though compare to other new gambling site that claims to be the best already, I’m excited to see how they work on this since I see more feature on their future site. Many casinos are opting for the extraction of tokens by playing, it is not bad, we have the example of a well-known casino in the forum for which if they launched a native token and it really did not go bad, they established the main currency staking system of the market and this makes many buy their tokens and not sell them, but they can play with the token to increase the staking experience much more, it is not bad, only that the platform wants to implement something new, perhaps the strategy they want to implement is different.

Ok, so if you are not selling the token and if there are no utility (demand) for the token, what actually give this token it's value? Most of these projects are linked to tokens with limited supply and also a demand for the token to increase it's value. 

The way I look at this is a lot similar to a bonus system for wagering X amount at other casinos. Let's take Stake.com as an example... you get a small percentage of your wagering back from the Daily/Weekly/Monthly that are paid out by the casino. Betfury is early to have that feature but later on several casinos have followed it, there is that "the fair spin casino",  "owl games" (just to name a few), you might want to try them as well if your looking to maximize your earning potential.

There are only minimum deposits for BNB & ETH of 0.01.

Minimum withdraws are any amount above the transaction withdraw fees. The withdraw fees are dynamic based on gas fees at the time.

I gave BetGalaxy a try. Here are my impressions:

• Account creation process was simple enough.
• Deposit (using TRX) was smooth and fast.
• Withdrawals got delayed (already addressed by OP), but always completed within 8 hours.
• UI has minor bugs, but not going to spoil the experience.
• Games are extensive and connection to the third-party servers are quite stable.
• Profit-sharing model seems solid.

Now into the bigger points resolving their unique div pool system.

• The documentation is extremely minimal.
• The Dividend Rewards cannot be used to play, which is a bummer. If you collect 25 USDT over time from the div pool, while the avg. network cost to withdraw is also 25 USDT, you basically get nothing.

This one also should not be the case, but if something is preventing you from actually submitting withdraws for other currencies please notify us, and we will investigate why that is. It's a lot and should not be taken lightly.

We are still working through a few issues here and there, specifically with DOGE and BTC. All other currencies are processed relatively quickly.
