There will always be positive speculation about the market situation every year but 2021 isn't actually a bad year for crypto. I'm also too positive that things will get better this year despite the continued existence of the pandemic. I believe that more potential coins would strike a better price and more great projects would exist.

I have still huge faith in the Altcoins. Yes, Altcoins could not boom as expected in the previous year but expectations are still there but I must say meme coins took away most of the investments in the previous year now investors are attracting towards the NFTs and Metaverse let's see how altcoins will perform this year but I noticed there is a huge craze for the metaverse.

Personally I think the word faith is too strong, people can have positive expectations out of some altcoins that enter the market and I think that is natural, but to go as far as say they have some blind confidence that those altcoins will do fine during this year is taking things a step too far.

After all it is no secret that more than 90% of the coins ever released are either scams or bad projects not worth our time, and when we take into account such a high failure rate I do not see how people can be that confident in altcoins.

I started to doubt about NFT this year because it's already becomes too mainstream and people abuse it like it's just a joke. Honestly in my country NFT becomes so hype the triggers is from someone took selfies for 4 years continuesly everyday and sold his photos for a thousands dollars in ETH as an NFT, and then people starts making jokes for capturing everything and sell it on NFT platform. So it's already become over use and i know if the hype in crypto that already on the top of the hype, there will be hype switching and the older hype will be dead.

I mean isn't that the whole deal? You can sell literally anything you want, ANYTHING that can be NFT. I mean that's the whole reason why technology improves. Tiktok is not something I will ever use, and I have mocked a lot of people who used it, and many people on tiktok looks like young idiots but to remember, back in our youth we had stuff like vine, which was like 6 seconds or 10 seconds or something to do a joke or something, that was cringe as well.

So, just because they were all weird and cringe and definitely mocking material, did that make it not good enough? Plenty of people became famous thanks to it and made a lot of money. NFT is like that, you can mock a lot of people, and most of them will be seriously weird cringe people, but there will always be some NFT investors who know what they are doing and will make a lot of money from it.

Sometimes, we expect too much about what to happen with altcoins in 2022, as in 2021. Some predict about its altcoin season that will probably happen during 2022, as we know that most altcoins are still not worthy enough.
We can see some are in the hype and pump so highly in 2021 but in 2022? It seems they are not able to survive and going to be dead.

The expectations towards altcoins in this year of 2022 must be around the called metaverse that seems the next big useless hype of the moment, that is surely going to be used to milk money from speculators who are constantly looking for high returns in short time periods. For big investors who have a lot of money to waste, that isn't a big risk or issue, as they do this kidding without suffering any serious consequences later, but for the small fishes who get greedy with the news they read about whales making big money with altcoins, defi, nfts and now metaverse, the risk is huge, because these people can't afford to lose money with risky investments following the whales' playstyle.

That is why I think faith in altcoins must be avoided. Don't get easily impressed by news saying an altcoin A or B is overcoming bitcoin and rising thousands of % in value on short run. Faith is indeed important, but when investing, logic also plays a big role.

Precisely with the new start of 2022 I can say this is very good because indeed they have several phases of course.
bearishness will definitely happen and I'm sure it will happen whether it's currently in a bearish period or not for sure it will happen, but on the other hand after bearishness of course there are bigger things because the benchmark we all probably know is that there is simply an increase and a decrease and there is bearish there must be bullish.
on the other hand for the metaverse itself I'm still monitoring mana and sandboxes now. for axie itself not too bad but i prefer sandbox i guess

I personally still have my full faith in altcoins, though not altcoins in general as there are still alot of scams out there waiting to happen, many rug pulls as well, but in the midst of all this, there are still alot of legit altcoins out there that are also waiting for some major developments before they come to the limelight, these are the types of altcoins am currently hunting for all day to invest in.

Some altcoins might deliver their promises but these are one in a thousand scams, cashgrabs and failures. Crypto is the wild west for now unless you buy bitcoin. Major developments rarely come into crypto, it happens mostly on the mainstream market and although a lot of new things did happen in connecting the two, it will still take time and more effort than just another spaceship millionaire.

Not sure if spending time on hunting altcoins is a fruitful venture, you need to get a reality check done or you might end up wasting time on a vaporware.

I think if regulation can be done, these scum project will reduce in number to a large extent or they will be scared to not end up being a rugpull and get sold to join another competitor, just like what happens in bankrupt companies on the mainstream.

I still have faith in crypto, not only in the year 2022, but also the years after.
Currency inflation is becoming worse than ever, with Metaverse becoming the trend, money will be invested and public attention will switch from traditional industry to crypto for sure. The key is to find promising project, since too many Altcoins are just scams.

You dont get a future value in such project but you will get it in bitcoin, and it is still worth buying even if price may be above 40k USD.

History may always leave an impact but what had happened in the previous years will be totally different from this present year. Bitcoin has been backed already with different big institutions and so its massive adoption has been starting to take place already. And once bitcoin will be in a very good position, it will also create a very positive impact on the part of the altcoins.  For now, coins have been declining due to the expected bearish season but i think once this will be over, bitcoin and altcoins will start to surge and skyrocket again for their new ATH this year.
