Selling during the bear market isn't all we can connect to panic selling just then, it may be they have some reason as well that it needs money and leave no option but to sacrifice, yeah, and I did sometimes. Selling during the bear market isn't all we can connect to panic selling just then, it may be they have some reason as well that it needs money and leave no option but to sacrifice, yeah, and I did sometimes. And talking about holding, that seems very challenging especially when we are holding less valuable coins, and that you right, selling them or trading them for valuable coins is the best option to take as the chances that these coins will no longer to recover is high esecially if the market worsen.

In deed selling in bear market is not a good option unless you do so under compulsion to meet cash needs. The better option is to readjust your portfolio and switch from weak coins ( Non performing )  to those who are likely to trend in near future like WEB 3.0 and metaverse are expected to perform well in 2022 whereas Bitcoin price is likely to remain side ways during 2022 as money tightening policy will push pressure on Stock and Crypto markets.

True, most of the altcoins are hanging in the middle. But there are some we can call low hanging fruit that will be beneficial in the long term. One of them is Scallop with the marketcap of $10,463,158. They have recently teamed up with the Norwich FC to spearhead the growth.

I believed in the altcoins, and the only sad things now for me is I don't have a lot of money to buy some of them that are cheap now in the market. That is the most possible truth. Projects that have been trending nowadays are never bound to last long, at the end of the day only bitcoin and established altcoins will only survive in the crypto market. The faith for altcoins have never really ceases, its just that this is not yet the moment for altcoins. But when the market recovers, and becomes more stabilized, good altcoins will regain the trust of the investors as they are not lost totally.

True,  the current market scenario is not very rosy and crypto in general can fall further low as there is fundamental shift in money supply policy which is causing panic in all financial market including Bitcoin but i think it is good buying opportunity when Bitcoin is trading around 36-38K but  should adapt 3 step buying  strategy and start accumulating  top 10 coins now and wait for the next dip which is likely to happen in March when Interest rates are likely to be revised.

The faith of altcoins in 2022 is very strong which it will definitely come to pass for altcoins price to hit higher for holders to start selling their coins to make a passive profit. Since there are many reduction of profits making in 2021 because of the low price that took place through out the year without any reasonable income for investors to show at the end of December 2021.
This year 2022 will be so bright for investors to remain in profit making through out this year because the signs some altcoins are developing in the market,show this year will be more better than last year 2022.

I wouldn't call it faith like OP does, I would call it a normal state of the market in general, why? We all know in advance that when BTC is rising, the altcoins are the ones that do best, since some have a x2, x3, x10 depending on their development, community, listing on the Exchange, everything influences, if we review those things as the normal stages of the market as the accumulation and distribution (the most basic) in BTC will always be fulfilled, then while btc is under a correction or is in an eventual stage of accumulation or reaccumulation, the altcoins will be low in price and profitable to buy, only when it rises BTC is when the benefits of altcoins will be seen, the truth is that this is the logic of everything, at least of altcoins.

Every year there must be a project that has a promising future, it proves that crypto always provides new opportunities for its users, depending on how we respond to it. But on the other hand, for other users, they see this as an opportunity for them to enter and invest in some coins that have good potential.

I would say the hype was created by many so-called analysts or predictors to entice the investor and many of us were trapped also. Altcoins did not perform as most of the traders are expected. At present Web3 and Metaverse is in high demand and I believe 2022 will be the year of Metaverse and Web3. In my opinion, 2021 was the year of Meme coins.

I believe it's going to be fruitful. My crypto portfolio is growing at a faster rate with projects like $SCLP, AVAX, SHIBA etc. I always prefer investing in the projects that are low hanging fruits and beneficial for the long run.
