if i had that much money i would definitely invest most of that money in bitcoin. I chose bitcoin because bitcoin is the most popular crypto and the average altcoin price movement follows the bitcoin price movement, in other words bitcoin is the safest investment in the crypto world. maybe i will use 10% of this money to invest in top 20 altcoins in cmc and participate in ICO or IDO.

There's no chance I'm going to invest that huge sum solely into crypto if that's all I have, mind you that cryptocurrencies are volatile and carry a large percentage of risks, so you shouldn't invest more than you can afford to lose, you should always put only a fraction of your entire funds into crypto and use the rest for other Investments and real life business.

Having said that, if by chance I get that sum, I'll definitely be looking at Bitcoin rather than alts, the reason is that many altcoins are short term projects/pump and dump coins, and if I'm going to invest that sort of money into crypto, I'll want to leave it there for a long while rest assured that no matter the correction phase or dump, it'll still rise back up again, but if you choose altcoins for such amount, then the risk becomes too much, it's very possible that the coins you choose will dump and not rise back up again. But then, eth may not be a bad choice of altcoin for that amount, it's more or less a long term project and it's development is waxing stronger with the time.

I think we have to be careful though, because this is the altcoin market and we know how Altcoins used to be.  Especially now that the market is bearish, we have to be very careful and make sure that the coins that we are selecting to invest in are coins that would be worth it in the future. And not the coins that we are going to invest our money in and then we start to regret it later in the future.

Of course if I had $1,000,000 right now, I would also have started my own investment, but I would be very careful and it would be in coins that I believe are going to yield profit in the future. Before I invest in any crypto currency, I always look at their past performance to see whether they would have that potential of increasing in value in the future. Or if that’s not the case then I might be looking at how good the project or the platform is, to know if it’s really good to the extent of having the potential of an increase in the future.

$1 million is a huge amount of money, and I don’t think you should be investing that kind of amount in just one cryptocurrency, maybe three as you have listed would be good, or maybe four. The coins you have mentioned are good, although I would also recommend that you add coins like ADA and Solana which have the potential of an increase in the future. I believe that these two would be worth your investment.

I'd use half of the money to build a big mining farm specifically for BTC mining and buy some BTC and ETH before 2025, there is a possibility that BTC will reach 100k by 2025, as for ETH I will stake them and enjoy the gains

I prefer to split a few percent into bitcoins, and some to buy altcoins. And even in altcoins I will not buy in just one coin, but in several coins. So I will invest in bitcoin for the long term, while in altcoins for the short term. It will also play long term for some altcoins, for example Matic. I think that is the choice I will make.

 This is exactly what I did. I have a very little amount (around 400$) that I invested this month. And 100 of that went to bitcoin, 100 went to ETH, bought ADA with 50 and Matic with other 50, the rest went to Cake for staking which I was already doing so I added some more. Basically this is the way that I went with probably the most logical way where I both have some investments but I also have some sort of passive income from it at the same time. Not a great idea but a solid defensive idea where the downside is lower than most other methods. I will not earn as much as some other people but I will not lose as much as some others neither.

Of course for big coins. I mean if i have $1,000,000 to make investment in crypto, my money condition will be more than that. But not means i pick coins which can be drain my assets fast. But when in big coins, i can hold it longer and i don't need to think the coin will be dead. So what i have is time and wait for good condition or getting profit with it.

$1 is big money, I will divide it into 2, namely buying coins that already have a strong market such as BNB, Terra, Cardano and MATIC as much as 70% and the rest to buy new projects, to get a safer and bigger income then I will use it for staking and farming. I'm sure with $1 million it could be at least 2x for a year.

$1,000,000 no doubt is a big money and if i had this much amount of dollars i would have instantly bought bitcoin and invested in the top 10 crypto currencies listed at coin market cap.

With 1,000,000$ available for investment I will invest part of the fund in Solana, Matic and Luna which is a very profitable Defi project, I also agreed that web 3.0 coins will soon hit the ground running and will be sought after by investors thus making them to be one of the fastest growing project, I believe with that amount invested in those projects the rate of return or profit to be earned in years to come would be massive and huge, though it's also advisable to invest in already established coins like bitcoin and ethereum.

With $1M I would definitely not risk investing everything in one altcoin. I think the minimum is at least 5 coins.
I would definitely choose Bitcoin and Ethereum and put half my capital into these two.
I would invest 20% of the capital in two existing projects that already have a product created and are credible.

Why would people not invest a whole million dollars into altcoins? I mean there are two things that you need to consider, first of all a person who would like to invest one million dollars into altcoins may have 100+ million dollars total networth and this one million dollars is not a make or break for them.

Another possibility and a very hurtful reality is that most of the other stuff do not really worth something, stocks? real estate? gold? Crypto is much better than all of them if you know what you are investing into. This is why I do not believe that we should be focusing on anything serious, we should allow people to actually invest into whatever they think it is best for them.

I would certainly use 30% of it for BNB, 30% for Matic, 30% Doge and would hold back 10% as spare amount without investing on any coin. Will use this 10% to average if any lose. BNB is one of the best top coins I have been closely watching since it came into the market. I have seeing Matic's growth ever since it came into the market. A strong team to believe on. A fantastic growth since it was launched in BNB on the launchpad. I think this was 1st coin to release on BNB lauch pad.
