^ This was exactly what I think will happen and the reason I did not push myself to understand the true meaning of BTC, I let them discover themselves about BTC because I don't want that someday they will come back and blame me because they invested and now losing the value and they don't understand the meaning of long term investment. Well, as long as they remained to be misinformed and continue to see bitcoin in a very negative way, then they will continue to miss the chance in bitcoin. great to hear the story of the OP. this is only one testament coming from the traditional banking industry, that most of them are against in crypto or btc up until now because they have not experienced yet being in crypto. but more then likely, they will change their perspectives once they tasted what it's to be like when you involve yourself in crypto.
ignorance and lack of knowledge are usually the reason why people don't like a new technology. but try educating them and for sure, they will switch sides.
so yeah, i believe it is only a matter of time before other people who highly criticised btc or crypto to change their minds. but don't force them to change sides, it will be their own time to realise things here because that would be better.

I agree with what you said and indeed indirectly it can indeed be used as a good reason.
on the other hand, it seems now that Fiat is indeed quite good when viewed normally but when you go deeper you can feel a clear difference that is indeed harming you little by little.

Most of the people I know that started to own Bitcoin or started using Bitcoin are just because they thought some "easy money", I'm glad that you really appreciate the use of Bitcoin.
