So we might as well look at the next bull run to see and materialized a $100k or higher price. By the looks of the current movement, we are in the bearish cycle already.

Even in the next bullrun, there is no guarantee the price of Bitcoin to reach $100k. So, don't expect too much $100k, better to set your goal for a realistic price. To be honest, I am no longer expecting the Bitcoin price to achieve $100k, especially this year. I don't know whether we are in the bearish market or not, but the price must take a very long time to achieve $100k. It is only a dream to expect Bitcoin price of $100k this year, just forget it. 

For me there is no other price but $100k target for the next bull run, or least the price could land to 6 digits. The bull run in 2017 ended up in around $20k, and in 2021 its about $69k. So you do that math for the next great bull run. So there's no wrong of expecting a $100k maybe 2024-2025? Still a long way to go but hey, we can prepare right now and stack up sats just to set up everything and prepare for the future runs, just saying.

After all it's not a dream too ,there's nothing wrong with hope because bitcoin can reach any target ! earlier in 2016 around february I assumed bitcoin would not be more than $2K as it was around $300 more then but it turned out to be shocking and hit $61K more on ATH ,just a little more to reach 100K maybe not this year or maybe this year no one knows

But unfortunately it was down half at this current situation so there will be a changes for sure. That's basically due to the FOMO, people thought that bitcoin pump will not stopped, and they proved themselves wrong bitcoin although bitcoin hit an ATH multiple times but correction does happen as it's necessary. For now, we have to face the current situation, it's quite bearish, so we have to accept it and remain optimistic, besides, it's a market cycle, we cannot stop what is happening.

Every bull run cycle bring the price to a new all time high so I would say that chances are high that we might hit 6 digits next. Although we will have to wait like 2-3 years because it seems that we are in a bear cycle. So today it might be a dream, but sooner we will unlock and achieved that price. Although it is a big disappoint last year that we didn't get to $100k, but I guess it did us good because I'm seeing that after getting to $100k, maybe the bubble is going to be burst hard.

On my opinion too, it will.  But of course, there will always be the others opinion so you need to live with it.
I am not a technical guy when it comes to looking at what are the possibilities for it to go beyond the amount you said but as using the history of Bitcoin I could say the value of it growing will always exist. I am just waiting when all this hypes from new projects and memecoins will calm down. That's when Bitcoin will start ascending once again.

I would probably agree with you that it is naive to expect $100k bitcoin price this year. Even if the current BTC price increases, it will still not reach this very important psychological level. I can only assume that $100k will be on the next bull run spades. This is quite possible if there is no global crisis in the financial system (like 2008 or worse), which, by the way, many economists expect in the coming years.

Yes , not unless we see bigger company that will engage and put their funds inside crypto like Apple or something big like that for us to finally reach that high , also like Amazon or car companies .
but of course this is far from reality to happen so yes we will not getting that 6 digits value this year.

Bitcoin reached 68k last November 2021,  and not 64k , and in February last year the price is even lower than what is the price today.

I don't think Bitcoin will go to 100K this year. Because everyone wants his money to increase all the time. It never decreases. And Bitcoin now goes through the hype. I see many times when Elon Musk or China says that we are adding bitcoin to our country or company. In that case, the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise. And if it is said that if Bitcoin is in our country then we are facing economic deficit then the price goes down. But I don't think BTC will go to 100K before 2023.

The price trend in the last 3 months seems to be down but we can always expect a recovery even if FUD continues to hit the market.

Experienced investors are certainly more patient with surviving the years of volatility in bitcoin price and therefore they have the opportunity to earn bigger than others when bitcoin hits ATH. It's about the opportunity to collect more bitcoin on a dip, but not recommended for those who can't take the risk.  $100K there is always a possibility in the future ^{[this year or the next few years].}

I'm talking base on the past historical logs of bitcoin, it's all over the place, after halving the price seems to grow tremendously, for sure you know this one and you can't deny it. I agree that we don't know the price in 2022, but again we can look back as how it moves on a bear market.

That's why I said be a smart investor, everything here is base on risk, if you can't take it maybe bitcoin investment is not for you. Be wise and smart and for sure you will be good here specially if you are keen for longer investment, or simply be a holder.

Last November 2021 became one of the highest bitcoin price records, but unfortunately that price did not last long and bitcoin slowly fell until it reached its lowest price in the last year of $36K, even though the bitcoin price had rebounded some time ago, but bitcoin failed to break through the resistance in the price of $45K-$46K and as a result bitcoin again experienced a price correction as it is today, although it is not impossible for bitcoin to reach the price of $100K, but it looks like we still have to wait and need a lot of time to see ATH $100K achieved.

Nonetheless, experts may seem predicted the current situation and that bitcoin will likely to experience a steep drop in the upcoming months.
But is it really possible for bitcoin to achieve $100k by mid this year? Given that the market is currently declining.

I believe the Bitcoin price to reach $100k, very big and believe, but not now, I think the future ATH against Bitcoin could reach $100k, yesterday's ATH has reached at least $63,000 from the $6000 price, I believe in the future.$100k is most likely the case.

Let us stop this dream for a while because the way market is showing us now? it looks like we are not on the track to reach this price in this year or the next.

what we need now is to focus in the lever on what is crypto now and what is bitcoin can bring us in the following days.
so Yes we will not having any impressive increase this year instead the chance of dumping will come as the war from Russia and Ukraine is getting bigger.
