I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this forum.I know we have different insight about gambling, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

So the question is(What do you think about gambling? Is it a fun ? Or a threat.

In my own opinion, gambling is fun. It is sort of like watching tv or playing online games but the possibility of winning money.It could be a threat if you dont know how to set your limits of how much money and time you can spend. Even if you have a large budget, it is a not a bad idea to set limits for yourself.

unfortunately we have to admit that a lot more people are losing money in gambling and few people are making money for this reason gambling should only be seen as fun, they are not meant to make a profit to pay bills, it doesn't work. all money that a person puts into gambling, the person must take into account that it is lost money, of course it may happen that the person wins and has money, but one must always think that it is lost money

it's both. in my time here in the forum I've seen members post how they view gambling. some of them view gambling as a way to entertain themselves and some view gambling as a way to earn money.

as for my personal opinion. gambling will be fun if it is played that way(I for one view gambling as a way to wind up, waste some time, enjoy my time, and relieve some stress that builds up when working.). but it is also a threat or dangerous if you played it irresponsibly, making rash decisions when losing, etc...

Gambling should be for fun but sometimes fun is what makes people forget themselves ,my initial goal was to fill my spare time but sometimes time is wasted because of gambling ,to be honest I think gambling to make money in a fun way ! usually gamble to get more luck with the money we have depending on people's perception too ,sometimes the threat doesn't exist if we have less time to gamble ,don't become a habit

It's becoming a threat if you don't know how to handle the excitement that you're generating as you gamble. There are gamblers that can't control themselves with the excitement that they have due to the fun sensation that it's making.
Gambling is as is what we see, someone can make money, someone can just have fun and that's it. I do agree at the last part of what you've said, it's always the reminder that everyone should only gamble with the amount they afford to lose.

There are lots of topics in related to this or simply this had been beaten up for how many times but it would still answer you this.

Gambling should be treated up as;

1. Leisure
2. Fun
3. Stress relieving

Never ever tend or mind off being;

1. Source of income
2. Getting rich
3. Easy money

You would really be fucked up if you do put up the wrong intent in regards to it.Play on the amounts which you can
afford to lose and enjoy into those games that you are engaging with without minding about making money
in return.

It's fun but also a threat at the same time, you'll only be at risk of losing the money you can't afford to lose if you are not a disciplined gambler. Every gambler has a way of treating gambling, some are doing it just for fun but those who are serious, consider this as an investment because they are aiming for consistency to be profitable.

Some would say never bet money you can't afford to lose, but invest has a different meaning, and like I said, if you are serious with gambling, you use the word invest.

Gambling is for FUN and not for Money or getting rich because in reality on which these casino owners would really be making just some fortune into those people who do have wrong perception towards it which is really a very common one and when greed controls you out then you would really be out of control which would result into mess up decisions.

Gambling can be fun,really fun and I mean it.That happens when you don't expect anything from your gambling session and you are just playing to relieve some stress and pass some good time.If you manage your emotions in such way gambling is fun but if you can't manage your emotions,you are a rushing person,have no patience and play to become rich overnight then most probably gambling can be the biggest threat of your life,it can ruin your life.

Money put in gambling ay not be considered as an investment, though investing is like a gambling but when it is use to play to gamble it is more risky as it will depend more in our luck unlike n trading that we can study it and decide for ourselves on what to do depending on the market. Purely just was for fun for me. I usually go out to the casino (before) to make fun with my friends after having huge loads of works from the job. It was to feel like a stress reliever especially when you win, that something like that.

But somehow, this could be a threat in some other way especially when got addicted and this become common nowadays since many gamblers had been able to spend more time in the house and do gambling. This could affect our financial management especially when we breach the limit and overspend the budget.

no one will be able to accept the situation that they lost money. then it takes a strong mentality when gambling so that it does not become a threat to personal life

I like soccer betting and sometimes play slots but I never tell people around me so that I can gamble calmly and without pressure from around because gambling is taboo here

gambling is an entertaining thing and also produces if you are lucky then it does not get a burden of problems when gambling

I think it's already like 20-30 topics with such question  
but anyway, in the n-time will answer one simple thing: Gambling is always about entertainment and nothing more (if you're not a casino owner or the man who teach (paid) people how "to win with gambling"). if you're trying to win or to get something just playing it, it's very big chance that you will get addicted and end not very well.

For me its really the first thing came out on my mind about this is I'm gambling for fun but for many times I place my bets I also aftering with profit its because its never be fun to lose continuously so to have this exciting feeling we need to win and gain from our play time. But I don't expect much so that I will not get disappointed and I'm always satisfied on my game time when I decide to stop playing in a day since I always make sure that I didn't surpass my limits especially on the capital i use to bet.

I don't think that gambling is only for fun. If it is only for fun, it is better to play games online that will not spend our money.
But once more, it is up to you because it is your own opinion.
In my opinion, I think that gambling is a way to gain money or lose money. We sometimes can earn money from gambling when we can win it, but we can also loose our (much money in other times.
Gambling is also something that is very risky, moreover we commonly risk our money to bet in gambling, whether we will win or lose. But I agree with you, only use money that we can afford to loose. That is why we must have good fund management to not being addicted in gambling.

Just as the others are telling, it's fun and becoming a problem if you don't control yourself from within. As you treat it as a fun activity, you really have to embrace the reality that you're going to lose money.

But it's becoming a threat if you're doing it affecting other things that you used to do like with your job, family and other activities you usually do and it causes problem to you.

If you know the real consequences of gambling and you don't have your limits, then it is a threat. If you're aware of the consequences and you have your own limits with a mind to stop by the limit unlike the profit/loss is fun. So, it is upto the user whether gambling is fun or a threat. When it comes to gambling, money is involved. This keeps people whether to continue after loss or take a break. For gambling sites it is business, so we can't say they're wrong.

It depends on who uses it.
In the same way that a knife can be used to cook and please people, it can also be used to kill someone.
Gambling in the hands of a conscientious person can bring you a lot of fun, but it can lead to death at the hands of someone uncontrolled.

I think there's no need for a survey or gathering advice and suggestions regarding our own view of gambling. Just follow what you think will be good for you. Don't get too much technical and just enjoy the party. In that way, you are comfortable with every each of your bets. Don't follow the rule that only gambles the amount you afford to lose since there's no specific range on what amount it will be. Instead, if you think something is not right, stop. If you think, it's not working for you, then stop. Try to be responsible and everything will be fine.
