I think all altcoins have a chance to grow higher in 2022, but if you look at the trend and hot conversations of most people, I am very optimistic that metaverse and NFT tokens have a great chance to shake up the market this year,

These are very controversial now, the NFTs and Metaverse project that has created hype.
But we should be careful because not all of them have the potential of making a profit, maybe it's a pure hype that possibly lures investors but there's no real product like a metaverse.

DeFi, NFT, and Metaverse are the type of coins that in hype since last year and i'm sure when the market recover, when bitcoin price is already going up like 20% from this current price, those type of altcoins will make a breakthrough and will create many new rich investors just like doge and shiba last year. I am one of those people who believe that BNB will show an extraordinary performance this year, especially since the BNB development team is so solid.
Being able to make BNB development very rapidly even now BNB includes coins with a large market cap, meaning that BNB does have a high demand.
In fact, quite a few people think that BNB can overtake ETH someday, no wonder the popularity of BNB has also increased quite rapidly. So I have
no doubts about holding BNB, hopefully BNB's performance this year can be much better than in 2021. Regarding XRP I'm not so sure it will perform well
in 2022, because XRP is still involved in legal issues. So I don't want to take the risk of investing in XRP, actually seeing XRP's performance is not so bad,
even XRP is still in the top 6. But based on the results of my research and analysis, the XRP movement will not be much different from 2021, there is

Metaverse and Matic are two coins that I think will be very good in 2022, Metaverse coins like SAND are currently holding their price even though the market situation is bearish and so is the MATIC coin, behind the price which is relatively low for now there is a lot of speculation and positive news about the two coins.
but I believe each of us has our own favorite coin and I will not doubt any coin because they all have the same potential.

There is no denying that even if some coins go higher than bitcoin, they can't go to a green direction without bitcoin going to green. If a project does 80% profit, while bitcoin does 30%, then it is understandable.

But, no project could go 20%+ profit while bitcoin is down 10%, maybe can do it for one day, but then it will fall like others next day. So, basically it is more like "if it will profit depends on bitcoin, how much it will profit doesn't depend on bitcoin". That is why I highly doubt that any project could be fully independent, even ETH which is a whole another coin with a huge ecosystem still depends on bitcoin about the direction it takes.

Honestly, this is what I've been looking at lately. It didn't move a lot during 2020. But when the pandemic hits, there is a lot of movement that has happened, and just like everyone else, it has made its ATH. The idea of a fan project seems really good and it's underestimated and not being noticed.
I think for this year if it goes up again, many would notice that and will tell that they've missed it at times like this.

Continuous growth is something that is hard for the volatile cryptos and much more for your wish of 2x ATH for bitcoin and eth. They have not recovered yet and after they recover they need to grind more to reach their first ATH.

2x ATH for them can take a long time to happen but gala is indeed performing very well during the dump on bitcoin and maybe up until now however I have doubts that SLP can go 2x its value because the game is going down and almost half of the players are already abandoning this game. They did a wrong move there for not including the burning mechanism right at the start of creating their project when burning is important and demanded by many investors.

you are right I also think that in the long term it is very unlikely for NFT coins because this is only because of the current hype so it is very possible to take profits on NFT in the short term.

Besides that, the Metavese coin also has a great opportunity in 2022 to increase considering that there are many projects that have appeared and also attract many people for now. maybe in the long run I trust the Metaverse project more than NFT
