Hello everyone!

How often do you pronounce usernames from BitcoinTalk out loud, or hear others saying them? Do you think the way you're saying them with your inside voice is correct?
Do you think others are pronouncing your username as you intended?

So many questions! Let's try and answer them in a future video, we're going to be having fun whatever the answers

There’s so many forum members’ names that I just can’t pronounce  Personally I just go for a sort of nickname or short version in my mind.
Here’s a few examples -

Your real name is not Loyce? Okay, let's see. DannyHamilton is actually called Danny Hamilton, LoyceV is not called Loyce, but Marcel (which makes sense now that I rethought of it). What's next? o_e_l_e_o not called Leo? franky1 not from Frank? Satoshi not Craig?

I removed the underscores and it's the worst thing I've ever seen in a sentence: oeleo. And I googled it. And there's a place by that name. Spooky coincidence or terrible irony for his privacy emphasis?

Loyce is obviously a female name, so maybe I have to start addressing LoyceV as she from now on.
I don't see a problem with that if people can still claim Lauda was a female, and I think that someone mentioned before that V is the first letter of a very long last name.

My fiendish plan to obscure my location has been compromised! I'll be requesting theymos change my name to b_a_r_c_o_e_l_e_o_n_a. That should keep people guessing.

But yeah, the second episode pronounced it properly: Oh-Leo. Or just Leo. Which is or is not my name.

By the time I figured that out, "LoyceV" had grown on me as a name. I never expected I'd still be using it almost 7 years later!

since I was curious how it sound my username in several languages... yes... definitely no surprise: it is corrected spelled/has always the same sound in any language I have heard/tried.
I made a test with google https://translate.google.it/?sl=it&tl=en&text=bitbollo&op=translate and it sound more or less correctly in any language (ok not really perfect in Bulgarian or Nepalese but this is a good starting point)!
It's funny (at least to me) that in any language you want to curse me ... it will always sound the same

I know you are Italian, but for some reason, my inside voice was always pronouncing your name as fillip + one. Like one fillip. Does 'fillippone' mean little fillip, just like 'principino' means little prince?

I have always been fond of the way Italians create simple nicknames. In Gomorrah, you will hear Genny, Genna or don Genna for Gennaro. Or my favorite Patri or donna Patri for Patricia. Ciru for Ciro even tough it's almost the same.

C'mon, “Loyce Vee” is the name of a cartoon character the most. Marcel is prestigious.

Not bad at all I was expecting something really disjointed...
In Portuguese it sounds like "Bi*ch bollo" ... Arabic version sounds like "Bitta-bollo"

The "bollo" part of my username sounds always in the same manner in all languages

I can assure you that the Merit Cycling Club has members who are both male and female; there is no truth to the rumour that I am "female only".

For no reason I always thought it had something to do with Dark Souls 2 and those weird ass [Loyce] knights in a place called Eleum Loyce.
