Why Gas Fee is too High?

Sometimes I feel not good after paying a High Fee on ETH, But I want's to know why this?

When there is panic on market, there are automatically a lot more trades on the Ethereum network (actually in all networks). The more transactions, the higher the fee, because everyone wants their transaction to be made first. The fact that everyone is in a hurry increases the transaction fee. In other words, it depends on us, the users.

Well no one wants to pay hundreds of $ just to make a simple DeFi transaction...

I think it's probably wise for you to go to other chains, whether L2 or L1 to do smaller sized DeFi transactions. It's simply not feasible for retail investors to use ETH mainnet anymore.

Also, using a gas tracker will probably help you pick the best times to make a transaction (when there is less market congestion).

if you talking eth gas fee i feel that emotion too  like imagine you buy something like donut that cost a dollar but fee 30$ kinda crazy right .

the problem is lot of transaction want to get approval first and high price of ethereum drive the gas fee is crazy and eth 2.0 will not come in 2-3 month.

just give some advice if u have token on eth and want to trade it try move it to centralized exchange is the best ways rather than struggling with approval and swap that give u headache

Not only you are annoyed by the very high gas fees, all Ethereum network users feel the same way. This all happens because of the density of
transactions on the Ethereum network, which causes us to pay high transaction fees. But we can't do anything to make the gas fees decrease,
what we need to do is just be patient waiting for gas fees to decrease or choose to use another network to make transactions. Hopefully
the Ethereum development team will soon solve this problem, because this problem regarding gas fees has been going on for a long time.
If it is left like this, there is a possibility that Ethereum will be abandoned by its users. This is a serious problem that must be resolved immediately.
