I don't know how to trust Small capitalization projects now because indeed that back in the days , those small caps coins are best as they can go hype easily but nowadays they have been used by scammers to make their projects looks legit with lower caps but ending they are not.

One of the main things on what causing for them to deal up with those newly launched coins is that they are really that trying out their very best to catch up a potential coin that could be end up a gem on which

right now investing in bitcoin is still good idea, not to mention the fact that there has been some correction these days just make investing in bitcoin all more alluring but i'd argue that investing in altcoin that are top 100 and above are just as good.
because they also have tendency of increasing in bullrun market and their increase usually are also quite high, i would say that investing in bitcoin for half of the portfolio and the rest to some altcoin distributed across many good coin that we consider to be good enough for long term increasing to get best of both worlds then we can safely say that our investment gonna perform good when the bullrun is coming for real.
because the worst scenario could only come when instead of bullish that come its bearish, but at that worst scenario we could just wait it out because we know the coin we investing in is just good.

Every time is a good time to invest if you know the investment that you're buying. Because you can't go back to the old times when most investments are cheap and good. I think you're the one who should rather not get yourself confused, try to also read between the lines and understand the direction where the gist is going, at the end of it all, what we are all saying is that shitcoins shouldn't deserve our investment, but how we can be sure we are free from them is by avoiding altcoins, not that they are all shitcoins, but there are some coins among them making them appear that way, we are to invest on what we are sure about and could afford the risk, if not then bitcoin should be our final bus stop.

anything related to shitcoin always highly speculative and often also manipulated heavily even by the devs that created the coin its just the way it is, these coin are created for the sake of enriching the creator not for the sake of utility and innovation so what you get is coin that acts like a trap where its gonna trap some people money, often time there are even some shady function in their smart contract that disable transaction in the ERC20 token which simply scream the word "scam"
you just shouldn't have any high expectation towards these coin if anyone want to earn some real good money and profit from investing just stick with the good coin that placed on that top ranking ignore some random coin that are just full of manipulation then they are safe from having their money vanish into thin air, thats the thing with shitcoin also the name shitcoin directly implies that they are shit quite literally for anything even for the purpose that they are initially created for.
therefore avoid investing in shitcoin, stick with bitcoin if not the lesser altcoin.

So what I’m getting at is, what is a stupid cheap yet promising asset I could look into. How do I find these new ICO’s or underperforming assets? When I see on Crypto com an asset that went up 60% in their gainers charts, I just wonder where these people getting their info to get in before hand and what moves the price.

While this is indeed temporary, I’m looking for stupid cheap but promising in long run, not necessarily moon this day and tank tomorrow

maybe coins that are still cheap, I can say that Solana and ETH are still relatively cheap now and are very suitable for long-term holding and are also more promising than buying memecoins which are only temporary hype and not suitable for the long term. Many people become millionaires by buying memecoins, but there are also many who losing money there, buying memecoin is the same as gambling, you have to go in quickly if you want to buy it, if you are even a little late, you will lose your money, that's what I think, but remember, this is not financial advice, still do your own research.

Your topic and post is a bit contradictory but however I have clearly understand what you meant, the thing is you can track some of the project on site where they do announced them before launching at this you can buy at their presale when it's very cheaper maybe you can wait during listing then you sale and make your profits. If you are looking for a cheap coin then you have to be ready to lose as well most these coin you are looking at often ends as pump and dump as an investor you need to be very smart so you could make your profits and leave the project.

Their are lot of trash coin in the market,  people just jump into it without knowing if it is good and reliable to invest. The altcoin market is very risky and one needs to be very careful how they go about investing in altcoins. I think people shouldn't be too fast to invest in new project because lot of them are trashed.  It is better to go for reliable coins that are well known in the market than the scam coins that we have in the market.

How did you know that Shibainu is not likely to go to the moon? I think shibainu will pump fairly well in the next bull market and gain good positions. If you bought from a little cheap price and now have more than 3x profit then I think you are in big profit buying Shibainu coin. Also many influencers and market analysts predict that Shibainu will have some zero killings between 2025 and 2026. I think nothing is impossible, if it was impossible, Dogecoin would not have achieved such a good position. If you want to buy coins from ICO then you can follow ICO drops there are many projects that you can invest in and hope to get something good later. I have invested in few projects from ICO drops but so far I have not achieved tax profit but hope to achieve something better in future.
