As far as Nigeria is concern I don't think there would be anything like "genuine government" anyone been voted into power turns to something else once they step into that office and start seeing the millions and billions there..... My dear it is only God himself that can help to reset and restore this country for us.
The level of corruption in the country is becoming woree by the day, for example with the ongoing Abba Kiari case...  God should just help us.

no contract have a good government so all the country now cuz you have a bad egg that is causing the problem of that country talking of government government never being open to anyone because what they're interested is for their own selfish interest not for any other person so many politicians don't even consider their citizens as anything so that is why I make my conclusion that the government is turn-by-turn until you get to the point before you can said that you have plans or project to your people.

It will take years to achieve it, we might not live to see it, but we have to build for the future. Corrupt people are now being celebrated today, corruption is now normal in our society today. Having  the mind to stop corruption is not easy in a nation that corruption  is seen as nothing, making an attempt to do so some politicians will do everything to frustrate the agenda. Do you think a genuine president can easily end corruption of this level ?

Corruption is something bad that must be dealt with everywhere irrespective of the country or people involved, it's a habit that needed to be avoided by all means and if we leave a corruption free life, everyone will find joy in doing what he's doing and also be expectant to receive from the leaders we have that govern us, we should also deal with corruption from the grassroot level and let the upcoming generation be free from participating from it.

corrupt people are celebrated everywhere in the world, our custom and value system are dead. We're not longer awarding hard work in the society, so people are now indulging in corrupt practices to survive.
The only way to reduce corruption is to teach the Young generation the danger of corruption to the society

Corruption has been a day to day affair in our society today, infact corruption is now seen as a game in our society mostly in politics,Corruption is even one of the reasons why some government parastaters are even controlling governmental powers today because they bribe inec to rig election in their favour, I don't think any president can eradicate corruption, infact if they know you are not corrupt they won't even allow you collect that mantle of leadership as president,but if perhaps you get that mantle of leadership as president,this corrupt followers (Politicians)would fight you till the very end,they will fight till they make sure they frustrate your leadership, or might even kill you if opportuned, so to me I don't really think any president elected can stop corruption, though he might reduced corruption I think, but he can never eradicate corruption, NEVER...

we all know corruption is not something to be proud of, including the people involved in it. Is good we still have people who do not approve this bad practice.

For a new government coming into power to fight corruption where all the government officials are corrupted. It seems to be very hard for the new government, and solutions wouldn't be fast as possible. He just has to take certain measures by the reformation of the cabinets. Then set up a strong independent anti-corruption agency that will investigate the corruption cases. This agency should have the ability to prosecute, and also government should not interfere in the investigation process. New governments have to be sincere with their people by demonstrating zero tolerance approach to corruption.

Fighting corruption is not an easy task but with honesty, sincerity, accountability, transparency, commitment etc. With all this mentioned it will reduce if not drastically or a little bit compare to the previous governments.

It will be an impossible task, for a nob to try to fight corruption althat is already systematically intended, I have had a few politicians with such a mindset that they will fight corruption but in the end, they become more corrupt themselves and that is the power of systematic corruption and the only way to deal with that form of corruption is a.total change of the existing systems, this may sound unrealistic but that is the only solution to curing the current class of corruption.

No matter how uncorrupted a politician is before winning an election, the system is always there to incubate him/her into the existing corrupt practices that have become the major challenges to our democratic development and growth as a nation and since there is no such thing as a national development policy that will serve as a guide to government officials actions and in action it becomes easier for corrupt elements to penetrate through any office holder no matter what his stand is with corruption.

Corruption is already a common toxic thing in the government. Here in my country, you would notice that there's no improvements and innovations despite the fact that the citizens of the country pay their taxes. Those funds could be use for emergency, improvements of places and scholarships. Still corrupt members are in their positions in the government which makes us look clown like criminal activities they still have the role for the public. The only thing we could do to avoid and lessen corruption is to be honest plus report illicit activities.

Corruption is inevitable in any society but have different level some country are high, some are medium and other are at low rate, it has been existing among the individual, home, working place, economic sectors political and government, every aspect has been corrupted especially the third world countries. The rate of corruption in Africa is more high due to bad government, poor system and economy.

Other are money embezzlement of money use for the social infrastructure are been used or diverted to their personal account, they also struggle with poverty, poor road network, electricity, hospital and other social infrastructure and educational system. Which makes the masses or individual to manipulate and find any means to survive do to failure of the so-called government, leaders e.t.c. now  corruption has now been spread everywhere with young and old, poor and rich. But we can fight corruption if me and you say no to corruption.

It's possible, but it will be more than his position that he needs to stop corruption. He needs the help of other people in the position of greater public posts to support him against this action.
When we're talking about corruption, it's already a business that's being passed on and making many more people involved because there's a huge chunk of the pie that needs to be shared. It won't be that easy and it will take a lot of years and terms before a genuine president annihilates all of the corrupt authorities in the public position. When you said corrupt people are celebrated, I was just about disputing the notion but, later thoughts on the fact makes me realise just how true its been looking at the recent concluding elections in my nation.

It was a tike where people chose to ignore the long run because of immediate benefits and what they hope to gain from the system once its set into motion. I can't imagine our conscience not appealing to ourselves but, the quest to gain and survive in our fast changing world seems to override every long term effect that might come from a corrupt system.

The only way corruption like this can  be defeated by a president who is different from other leaders who have served in the past, is if the citizens of that country can fully support and stand by their president. If other bad politicians sees that majority  of the citizens  are against corruption,  I think it will be tough for them to go against the president.
 Like in South Africa,  it was easy for Nelson Mandela  to fight for good governance because  he was fully supported by other citizens  of South Africa .

is it is it does not need to support a President before president is a good admission or take it as an in any fight because the president control everywhere it can use military or false to do anything I want to do without the citizen of the country order or arrangement so war only escalate when it get worst a country

I call that playing because there is no way you could remove corruption when you yourself is corrupt.
Corruption is everywhere but it has a level when we know that this is too bad for a quick change to happen.

Corruption can be fought and can be reduced, you may be right about Corruption being impossible to eliminate completely, but there are societies around the planet which have showed us good examples to make your cities and governments more transparent.

So perhaps it is more difficult in some countries than other but it does not mean it is a lost battle. I would personally be in favor of death penalty to high profile cases of corruption which involved high quantities of money, if it helps to clean society of such terrible problem. I know about the consequences of corruption, because I live in a country with many corrupt people in positions of power.

I suggest that a lot of politicians tend to ignore the fact that charity begins at home, and the bedrock corruption begins with the leader and his lieutenants. Any leader who wants to run a successful government and fight corruption to its barest minimum must begin with himself, making sure that he has integrity and character of a good leader. He must also operate differently from the previous government thereby ensuring that he selects a purposeful cabinet with integrity too. His cabinet members in this case are his lieutenants.

A leader must also be upright and operates an open door policy. His policies must resonate with the needs of the followers and he must employ dynamic strategies to achieving his plans for his followers. That's who a president, a governor or a council Chairman should be. Especially in a democratic setting.

With money being the major causes of corruption, I'm still researching how, Bitcoin can be used by a government, to reduce corruption or corrupt practices.
