How easy for a new president who is been elected to fight corruption in a nation where all the systems of government is been corrupted, like in the force, and judiciary, even the politicians.
Having the mind to stop corruption is not easy in a nation that corruption is seen as nothing, making an attempt to do so some politicians will do everything to frustrate the agenda. Do you think a genuine president can easily end corruption of this level ?

Let's ask Mexico this important question. https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/30/americas/mexico-political-killings-intl/index.htmlThere is a running list of politicians that have been assassinated by drug cartels. These criminal organizations make up law enforcement and the government, and will stop any bright eyed politician who wants to invoke change by murdering them and leaving their body mutilated hanging from an overpass as a message. A President does not get elected in a corruption riddled system. There are mechanisms in place to prevent those sorts of things from happening, just like in Mexico. Except the mechanism isn't one of governmental resistance, it's just murder. To each his own.

The only way corruption like this can be defeated by a president who is different from other leaders who have served in the past, is if the citizens of that country can fully support and stand by their president. If other bad politicians sees that majority of the citizens are against corruption, I think it will be tough for them to go against the president. Like in South Africa, it was easy for Nelson Mandela to fight for good governance because he was fully supported by other citizens of South Africa .

Corruption is now so pervasive in a country that it is almost impossible to eradicate it.
Because everyone from the cabinet to the police (who spoke of providing security to the nation), teachers (whose motto was to make a country well-educated), doctors (after God whom people depend for their lives ) are all corrupted.
It is not possible for a new ruler who comes to power with such good ambition to eradicate this corruption of all the people around him.
Either that new ruler himself goes after corruption Otherwise, he was removed as an incompetent ruler for trying to eradicate corruption. In some cases, brutal killings were also carried out.
The only way to eradicate corruption is for people at all levels to come forward. But the sad thing is that there is no one to come forward. Everyone is busy with their own interests.

Yes, actually the trigger for this corruption is mental and system. Sometimes a good mentality is defeated by a rotten system, which exists in a bureaucracy. I see that in a corrupt government, people who perpetrate corruption are often trapped in their positions. Where, they do not want to lose their position, therefore they must follow orders from those whose position or position is higher than them. So there are many possible causes of corruption. If you want the head of state to avoid corruption, in my opinion, you must be independent and not use the party as a vehicle to achieve power.

Corruption even goes further than this, it has eaten deep into the fabric of society unfortunately so much that even regular citizens now exhibit and show signs of corruption. The system need a a complete overhaul, just as the corruption started to spread from top officials, so also will any fight to bring change and stop corruption also will have to start from the top. To enforce change, and stop corrupt practices... An independent body free from government interference can be set up to evaluate corrupt practices and punish offenders. Stiffer punishments can be drafted for offenders, and when caught, such corrupt officials and persons should be used as a good example to discourage others from being corrupt.

When we here the word corruption, our mind immediately pushes right back to the government and those within its cabinet system. We seem to forget that, these same persons that are now rulers or sovereign in our individual nations states, were just amongst the crowds like we are.
Better question, is there anyman that isn't corrupt in our world today? Who is a corrupt man and who isn't?
One thing is for sure, you never can read tell until one is exposed to power. The little you do today and see it to be having less impact on people and the society, is what could be transformed to a major scandal when given the power or opportune to handle public offices.
Corruption isn't a one man fight and it starts with you!

The way the world is engulfed in corruption, I don't think it will ever be possible to eradicate corruption. People know that corruption is bad but they can't control their greed and in the end, they are getting involved in it. Since the number of corrupt people is high and everyone is crazy about their own interests, honest people fail to teach them even by bringing examples from their holy book. And the most interesting thing is those who have the responsibility to prevent corruption the rulers themselves are corrupted by the defense forces. If corrupt people are listed, their names will be on the top list, I think.

It is not that easy, but it is not impossible. He needs a lot of strength and continuous work to remove all sources of corruption. The new president needs to have the keys to power first so that he can fight corruption. He has to win the popularity and love of the people at first, and then he has to start making important reforms that enable him to start doing his job well, then he has to pull the rug out from under the corrupt politicians and kick them out of important positions and hire good people he trusts, the job is very difficult and needs a strong boss to do that.

This is easy because when you are the leader of the whole country, it means you are superior to everyone out there and you can implement some law that will automatically end that corruption era by waging war on those who are corrupt. When you guys heard Duterte, you already know what it means. the same guy who raided the house of a drug lord with a grenade. That's just how should it end because those guys love violence and sacrifice their life to save the younger generations in many ways better. I'm not a fan of random killings but to put them in their right place is the best thing you can do. I'm living in the front row where drugs are easily accessible but as soon as Duterte took charge, everything was changed completely to a better way.

Right, The saddest thing is that from the prime-minister to the doctors, teachers, farmer, the cabinet, that is, the whole country is corrupted. Everyone is busy with their own business and profit. And there is no way out of this corruption. Because if you look through any section of the government, you will get some corrupted people who are sitting on the big chair. No matter how good and honest a new prime-minister comes to power, the corruption of everyone around him makes the ruler addicted to corruption. Where the whole country is corrupted whom against we will fight?

The first question to ask ourselves is how did the president elect emerged a winner? Is it through election poll rig or by a free and fare platter, a building can't withstand turbulence if the foundation is bad, the president can't do good knowing fully that he was selected and not elected, but all things been equal, a vibrant and faithful president who truly won the election will stand by the truth of his words amidst those against it.

The goal of corruption is to gain desired result or benefit with the help of funds or other benefits. Corruption is what puts one persons wish over others. If you want to fight corruption, doesnt this mean that you have something that does not suit you (but maybe suits for others), and you want to put your interests above others? Can it understood as fighting corruption with corruption? I think corruption is impossible to beat, because when searching for alternative solution, people plant another seed of corruption.

Easily? Even that president is going to declare an all out war to the corrupt officials, it won't be that easy. It's like you're pushing a heavy boulder but there's the an obstacle that stops it from doing so. It's hard to accept that those corrupted politicians will do everything to remain at their positions. They've been milking money to the government with their corrupted ideas. They know how to hide their corrupt activities while sitting on their positions. That's the sad truth that corrupt countries despite there's a strong will of a good leader. There goes the other officials that won't stop what they've used to do.

Corruption could only be fought if there was a large group of people who could fight against corruption. But it is surprising but true that if you fight against corruption and ask for help, you will not find even 100 people on your side in the whole country. Everyone says they want to eradicate corruption, but I am sure it will be found out that no one is completely honest. The entire world is filled with corrupted people now, where I will fight against corruption, against whom?

But there are some special case that I've read, there are still people and leaders that really wants the best for their country and they're not just all talk but they're proving it through their deeds. Like this guy: Jose Mujica: The world's 'poorest' presidentI'm not from that country and I've only read articles that seems to be giving him the positive outlook based on what he has done. Giving 90% of his salary for the benefits of his constituents is a noble act as a president. But whether he does good governance or not, there will always be the bad side comments about leadership and this is in general, for all leaders.

Assuming your president actually wants to get rid of it, he's in for a bumpy ride. Although it varies by country, those that are already in position will find ways to hinder your president's policies to remove corruption. And also, he's mostly only in control of his respective branch of government, which is already challenge enough, imagine trying to affect changes in the other branches.
And then there's the non-government actors, the businesses, criminal organizations, etc that have slithered their way into government and influencing it from a distance. You'd have to first find out all those and after that there's still the problem of how to get rid of them.

At least when they commit violence you don't hear about just someone "mysterious died" or side effects caused this etc, etc. One for the other we all want to rule the world bottom line, that's what a real small fry drug dealer once told me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erCM_cISWuwand not it wasn't NAS.

Fighting against corruption is a topic which has always been very interesting for me because I have witnessed it devastating effects on economy and how it ruins the very fabric of the society. I have witnessed in my country How Political mafias loots and plunders wealth of the country and transfer it to their overseas accounts. Fighting against corruption need political will on highest level of government and state, it is not easy task but achievable through legislation and reforms.
