I hope Doge can reach $1 soon, if this is achieved of course I will get a big profit and it will have a positive impact on the market which will skyrocket, but we have to be realistic if we look at market conditions that are still red for almost 3 months, if the market is difficult to recover the price is likely Doge will drop again under 10 cents.

Even if the market conditions are normal or green, I doubt dogecoin will be able to reach $1, from the beginning of development dogecoin was only able to make a shock price at 10K, and even then it was not so long in the market, after that dogecoin returned to its current price, even greater hype that affecting Dogecoin up to 10K, but going forward it is difficult for Dogecoin to reach $1.

No mate, dogecoin did not hit 10k. That's ridiculously big for such a meme coin with huge supply. In the beginning of doge coin, this coin was started as a joke and everyone makes fun of this coin. That is make its value drop or became stagnant for a very long time until one day Elon came to the rescue and promote this coin. That's the time doge got the attention of the investors but still the price did not cross 1dollar per coin.

Now that Elon did not not make any post about the coin, the more the chance that the coin will go down and wont reach this targeted price. There are better coins out there to consider by this year than dogecoin.

Some of us are still wondering how did Dogecoin even survived for such a long time as there is zero real life usage of this coin and not sure whether it would have achieved ATH without Elon Musk's tweet or not. I don't think Dogecoin has possibilities of reaching $1 unless Elon makes some special announcement about Dogecoin unlike previous tweets as people have lost interest in cryptic tweets and they need a solid proof why to buy Dogecoin. $1 is possible only with the help of billionaire like Elon or any organization.

Elon Musk's tweets regarding Dogecoin are now normal to crypto investors and now there is very little value of his tweets in support of doge coin. But if someone big also invest in doge and support it publically then only the price will increase and would cross $1 mark and once that happens the price will further increase dur to FOMO.

it all depends on how the market and community maintain the price of dogecoin. if as said, Elon still holds this coin and there is a big development to use dogecoin for real products. Of course, a potential $1 of Dogecoin is achievable.
but instead of thinking about the increase in the value of dogecoin, I think seeing the potential of altcoins and bitcoins in the market would be better.

I don't think that Dogecoin can reach 1$ in the near- or mid-term future. Currently it's at around 0,15$ which would mean that it would have to do a x7 from here to reach 1$ and i don't think that it has the potential to do that on it's own. I also think that another tweet of Elon Musk will not really have an effect anymore, because stuff like that always only works best when it is done the first time and completely out of nowhere. Of course it is not impossible for Dogecoin to reach 1$ somewhere in the future when we are in a full steam bull market again and the overall total market cap is also increasing by a few multitudes, but in general i think that the hype around meme-coins is over.

This year, the price is unlikely to reach the one dollar mark. Although many predict such a development of events. And in the future, the most optimistic ones talk about an even higher price. Lots of different opinions on this. Many people hold the coin anyway in the hope of a reversal and price rise at least by the last year. I'm in doubt of its potential even though we know that some traders are using this. Elon did his best to pump it, I don't know yet if he hold Doge or what was the reason to start tweet with Doge. Its really clear to us that Dogecoin is a meme coin and it has nothing any concept on crypto. So that is not it to be risky to go with Doge. Its true that it was really pumping and got a good ath point but it has dropped enough and i don’t think it can go over the past ath. However there is nothing make me strong to think that it could get a good uptrend as it was in recent  past. Usually i never suggest to invest on meme coin but if you wanna throw you money to the sea you may go with meme coin. If you are the lucky person your investment could go to the over sky. So mate i just wanna suggest to ignore meme coin and invest on top ranked strong project which is really potential.

His opinion is very radical, but he has a lot of assertiveness, if Elon Musk, who is a person with great purchasing power who can give a big pump with a tweet, almost manages to take it to 1 USD, however he could not do it successfully, it is probable that it is very difficult that due to the merits of the currency or the community they can take it to 1USD, many whales would have to enter and buy many doge, although it is not something impossible, I do not see this happening for now, and this scenario is also possible if BTC is in a confirmed bullish trend, and unless it exceeds $100k (which is a very possible scenario), for me, if those parameters are met, it can happen.

The current price of Dogecoin is $0.1419, Never mind $1, even a 300% increase from the current price in my opinion is very impossible for Dogecoin (DOGE), coins or tokens that go up organically will quickly return to their lowest price, if you expect a decline, I still believe in the price of Dogecoin (DOGE) can return to their initial price, it's all just a matter of time until investors lose more and make cut-losses instead of having to lose even more.

Since they only see fictitious profits and when people express their opinion against them they get upset with it, that's a big stupid thing I see. He probably just gave up on Doge already. Maybe he will come back and then make some profit with it again in the future, and in that scenario we could see some more hype and then 1 dollar could be reached. He turned it from 3 cents each to 70 cents each when he tried it first time. We are in a bear market type of situation right now, it is not in bear anymore but we barely got out and have not reached that great bull period yet.

In a period where everything goes up, and the price of bitcoin reaches 70k+ and breaks the ATH price, then I am sure Doge will do better as well and in that period if Elon tweets about it then 1+ dollar could be reached. Don't get me wrong, I am not supporting it and never owned any for investment purposes, but that doesn't mean that I would say it will never be higher price neither, I understand there are some other people who would invest into it.

 If you are trusting just one person to do all of your marketing as a project, then you are not going to be making too much profit for too many people. Sure the ones that made money buying at the bottom a year ago and selling it later when it reached 70+ cents made the profits, but aside from them, nobody else made any money, not before that and not since. The main problem is that if people want to make a profit from it again, they need Elon, and that is not a good thing. I would not really put any of my money to make a profit of that kind just based on one person, I need a project to be great all by itself without a push from a celeb.

 What happens if leonardo di caprio promotes a coin tomorrow? And Brad Pitt another one? Then RDJ? Are we suppose to buy every single coin a famous person promotes? That makes no sense to me at all.

Doge is just an ordinary coin without the help of Elon and the strong community in it, and I think it can reach $1 easily when they are united to make it happen, I mean, I'm waiting for Elon to make a new drama to lift the price the Doge to the moon, without him I think it will be hard to Doge to hit $1 in the near future.

2022 shows a negative sign, until now the market has not recovered, but I am optimistic that the market can bounce back soon, if you see the trend and transaction volume that continues to increase, I am optimistic that Doge can reach $1 this year.

we know in general that the increase in doge was almost all the result of @elonmusk's tweet and not from the capabilities of doge itself, as well as the increase a few weeks ago also due to @elonmusk giving concessions to the use of doge for company merchandise transactions.
