I have been busy learning about crypto making small progressive steps in the right direction. I increased my understanding by reading threads and browsing the expansive web. After joining bitcointalk I received a motivational nudge in the right direction from BlackHatCoiner because this reply to my introductory post had a profoundly positive effect.

I was transparent in my first post about the motivations to join. I will apply for bounty and signature campaigns as I search for ways to earn money. I will post on contrasting boards with an eager eye on possible investment opportunities.

I am off the mark with merits thanks to philipma1957 and isaac_clarke22. Next stop Jr Member but there is optimism more is on the horizon as my rank builds up incrementally.

I planned keeping this thread with signed message as proof of ownership until _act_ posted advice here. The link to my signed address is here. After extensive research I concluded Electrum was my preferred wallet option. As my contribution to benefit bitcointalk Newbies I will make an instruction guide with a personal use experience of Electrum.
