Hello everyone!

I've updated my research on the most popular crypto tokens in casinos.

The research: https://bitcasinorank.com/top-crypto-for-gambling/

For comparison, here are the results from February 2022.

I plan to update this research and thread every year so we can track how the popularity of tokens changes. Stay tuned and share your thoughts below!

I did a little research and collected interesting statistics on crypto casinos in infographics. It might be interesting for someone to take a look.

A by-product of this research is a table that collects all crypto casinos by name, year, as well as all altcoins available in these casinos. I would like to add other useful information to this table, so let me know if you would like to see some more information there.

The table - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GqMmEUYmmOisgtP625e9LfJIp6nVqXujHa3SdIeclNY/

I check the Infographic and its interesting especially if you will provide a source on each major event that you indicated on the timeline on the page of your Infographics. I'm here in Bitcointalk for a long time but I didn't most of that major event which I really want to read from a reliable source. Since you are the owner of the website, please put your Infographics directly here by just cropping it in parts then upload it on imgur to copy the image BBCode individually.

Your thread will be interesting if all the details in your Infographic is visible already here rather than visiting your website which is very laggy to scroll down.

I agree with Coin_trader. Interesting insight, but a point form would be better for some of us since the banner is pretty lengthy and large.

Just curious, how long did it take for you to come out with them figures?

A very nice list of casinos. I wonder how you collected all this information because if you did it manually, it must have taken an enormous amount of time.  Shocked

Interesting information for me is the year of the casinos creation, from your spreadsheet. It can be concluded that every year more and more cryptocurrency casinos appear on the market, which means that the market is constantly developing and it is a clear sign that the next ATH (and not only one) still ahead of us.  Cool

Wow I didn't expect Doge to be under 50%. I thought it would be the same or slightly higher than LTC usage because of the cheap transaction fees and increased popularity throughout the years. Maybe centralized casinos find it harder to set up their wallet. XRP at 28% was a surprise as well.

Infographics are a very good way to explain any subject and you have done it great in the Crypto casinos industry using an infographic, It sums up everything we've achieved since 2011, the number of casinos that appeared each year is very interesting 2021 so far is the highest and it will keep improving because the Crypto casino industry is a growing industry, no wonder the top casinos are spending more to keep the big slice.

Excellent work! Infographics is a great way to spread information across the board. I have one additional request for you.

As yoi have mentioned that 51% of crypto casinos have valid gambling license, I want to see a full list of those casinos. Is that something can be done by you? Just a simple table would do.

Even though gambling license doesn't matter a lot into crypto gambling field,  but it's definitely an additional parameter that generates trust! So looking forward to hear from you.

You can resize the image using this BBCode command [img width=xx height=xx] to adjust the size to your desired visibility. It's much better to browse here in the forum compared to the website since the website response is so slow when I scroll the picture from top to bottom.

You can implement too the idea of @UserU to make your thread is more informative. Most of the user here preferred to have the source of each event on your research for verification of all the facts you stated on your Infographic. There's a lot of potential improvements for data on your idea so you really did a good job on this one.

Nice work, its good to see the trend of crypto gambling and i can say that many came into this market to offer crypto gambling, no wonder why there's a lot of gamblers here. I'm curios if those are all legit projects or the fake one are also included on the charts.

Good to know that half of those site have their valid license which is very important for every site, this can be a big help to attract more players since many see this as their assurance that the project is legit, and ok to put money on that site. I wish to see this thread updated from time to time, I know this is a big work but it can help a lot of people here for sure.

As per the chart, they only included the active site during the year so technically if they exit late on that year they are still on that chart.

The infographics are very clear, we can really understand the evolution of crypto gambling, such a great innovation under blockchain technology.

I saw major coins on most of the site, no wonder Bitcoin still lead as the best option followed by ETH. Most probably we can see more projects this year since there's a lot of big investors are coming in and they are really interesting to crypto gambling, there's a huge market for this.

Interesting data, Alex. It's super interesting to see how far the crypto gambling space has evolved since 2011 - In 2022, crypto gambling is bigger than it used to be.  remember when I join the forum early several years ago and how the concept using Directbet. ( which is now closed by the way). The concept of gambling with crypto has grown. I was just getting started then so it was kinda hard to find reputable sites for gambling and fees too had to be considered.

once again, Thank you @alex for the awesome work.

*Number of new casinos that appeared in each year

2015 we've seen the decline of the new casinos launching but expecting I guess considering it's a bear market during that period though I haven't been in the space yet. But even during the 2018 bear market we've seen it to keep on boosting, perhaps casinos are in-demand and profitable business. I wonder if you could make a timeline of those crypto casinos that experience hacks before?

It is actually very interesting to see that during 2015 (the time where BTC was first starting to boom), people already considered gambling with it. I guess, gambling takes various forms and as long as a mode of currency is available then it would be wagered.

I tried accessing the first BTC casino (e.g. switchpoker.com, etc.) but it seems that their domain has been sold/expired. I wonder how many gambling casinos are still ongoing despite all the crashes, hacks, and problems they have encountered throughout the years.

in the research, I've used only casinos that are operating at the moment (138 sites). You can find the Google Sheet table with all the active casinos (the link in the 1st post)

This is really interesting, I didn't know that anonibet was one of the first casino that accepts cryptocurrency the way you design and compile and create it in infographic is really interesting if it was a pure text I doubt that I will find it interesting to read. It's nice to see how gambling site grows along with the provably fair, license and many more. I was thinking what other things that will be added in the future.

Maybe you could add info like which was the first one who added metamask to login or added NFT games on their gambling site I already see 2 gambling sites that added NFT to their gambling site maybe this could be a new one from this 2020 timeline? Many gambling sites are upgrading some started from casino and add sports bet and now they add NFT and integration of metamask.

Amazing work. You deserve a merit for this post. I can barely remember JustDice. Now checked it again and yes I wasn't wrong. It is probably the first crypto casino that came up with its own shitcoin (CLAM) and they still operate on this domain.

https://just-dice.com/

I forgot what was the reason for this decision (moving from btc to clam) but people talked about this a lot when it happened.
