So it clearly states that any fight in Russia will be sanction. It didn't mention about Russian fighters not able to fight outside of Russia. So I think this is still a go fight in May 7.

I hope there's no hindrance to this big fight, we are just speculating now but you have a point and I agree with you. The fight will not take place in Russia, it will be outside the country so the fight has to be realized. We have been waiting for this patiently and we don't want to be disappointed anymore.

The world is just starting out to heal from the pandemic but then there it is again the war between Russia and Ukraine that cause losses of properties and lives again in the affected area. As much as we wanted to see Canelo and Dmitry inside the ring trying to defend or winning the title belt but then yeah all we can do is wait for the final announcements and hopefully the fight may take place on the scheduled date without any hindrances like because of the conflicts of the countries like political conflicts because sports are not covered by the political aspects.

Yes, there is still a lot of time as this fight is scheduled on the month of May and I'm also quite sure that both camps and other boxers are appealing to the bodies somehow give some special case on them and maybe the fight in the North will cease even before this fight. Exactly, no boxer would come unprepared especially if you are fighting one of the best in his generation, so Bivol's camp is surely studying the weakness of Canelo so Bivol will be effective inside the ring and will give him some trouble. This is not the first time Canelo is fighting in this weight class. Canelo has already defeated Kovalev in a light heavyweight title fight way back in 2019. It wasn't just a defeat, Canelo in fact knocked out Sergey. So this match against Bivol is the second match of Canelo at the 175 pounds limit. I think both Kovalev and Bivol are also 6 feet tall. It is interesting that Canelo is facing another Russian fighter in his light heavyweight return. We will see whether the younger Bivol will somehow avenge the loss of Kovalev.
