I was not aware of Klitschko brothers pressurizing the WBA to cancel the bout because Dmitry Bivol is a Russian citizen and for them to take a position during these crazy times is commendable because if you start cancelling fights because of political reason which Dmitry Bivol as an individual as no voice on the political situation and the war that is going, you should not restrict them and take away their livelihood.

Good point, he's can't control what the government is doing right now, punishing him with something that he's not personally involve should be reconsidered, and that's what we are seeing right now. Yes it is, not just for them but also for all the boxing fans who are excited to see this fight. There is a lot of commotion happened this past few weeks about this fight not getting sanctioned or else a non-title fight, good thing the WBA have thought about this thoroughly. Bivol has nothing to do with the war, he's just an ordinary citizen of the Russian Federation. It would be unjust to cancel his fight just because of Vladimir Putin's actions.
