Hi Russian friends, if anyone of you knows a soldier in route to Kyiv that, instead of dying trying to kill Ukrainians on behalf of VP, would rather sell their tanks, I am interested in buying. I offer 100 USD (soon to be 20M rubbles) in bitcoin upon receival of the tank keys, a picture to check that is in good use and a geolocation so I can go and pick it up.

Hurry up! Take this offer before your tank is no longer in working condition or you are no longer able to sell it!

Hey, you're undercutting my offer  Angry

Maybe Ukrainians should offer $1 million for each Russian tank. I think these kids would gladly take that and walk back to Russia on foot.

$100 is too low ball, imagine how much Uber would cost to get home from a war zone.

Just be warned, you may have to get some fuel with you when you'll try to get them home, as they seem to have .. certain supply issues Cheesy Cheesy

I don't think that the 1M offer is real, not many can afford that. I find this offer much more reasonable/real, it has better chance to be honored (by the buyer) than the big 1M offer.
And with 100$ they can buy a ticket home and also have some change for a beer. Looks fair to me.

Apparently Ukraine's defence minister is reading this forum LOL:

They made it only 5 million rubles though. Still good money, around 1 BTC at this time.

It's a very fair offer because very soon one would need to carry a truck full of Russian Rubbles to buy few loaves of bread. Europe is gradually thwarting Putin's plans and very soon China and others would discover that Russia is no longer an asset but a huge liability.

Latest news from the Ukrainian tax office is that if you capture a Russian tank, it's not considered a taxable asset.

Quote
"Have you captured a Russian tank or armored personnel carrier and are worried about how to declare it? Keep calm and continue to defend the Motherland! There is no need to declare the captured Russian tanks and other equipment, because the cost of this ... does not exceed 100 living wages (UAH 248,100)," NAPC's press service said.

Ukraine is obviously in a desperate situation at the moment, but arming your population with guns and molotov cocktails, and telling them they get to keep any Russian hardware they capture is quite a creative approach.

Hereby I pledge any profit I make by purchasing Putin's tanks in full to support Ukrainians. 100% tax is fine for me on this case.

Hey, I am just a honest business man trying to make a living. How is buying a tank from a motivated seller a crime? Am I less honest than the governments of Mali, Syria, ... Why can they buy and I can't? Not fair.

Tell that to all those who sided against Hitler. Was any of them prosecuted later?
Reading your posts reminds me of those Russian web brigades. Do they pay a lot for defending Putin these days? If the life of a Russian soldier is worth just $100 to them they must be starving you guys to death out there.

Ukraine is obviously in a desperate situation at the moment, but arming your population with guns and molotov cocktails, and telling them they get to keep any Russian hardware they capture is quite a creative approach.

So is Russia. They have no food and equipment to give to soldiers so they're releasing them from the army and telling them to go back home.

On the Molotov cocktails, which I believe are being renamed to "Kyiv Smoothies" (no joke), these are supercheap weapons that are absolutely useless against any more or less modern tank. However they are great at keeping the crews inside their vehicles, which reduces their visibility of the environment and makes them prone to walk into bigger problems. Also, armoured personnel carriers and older tanks are actually a bit more susceptible to cocktails and can actually be disabled or temporary stopped by one.

Oh, for the Russian soldiers, I am not buying a tank or armoured vehicle that is burned or has got hit by a Molotov, a Javelin or an MLAW (nor a drone, nor an RPG) which is likely to happen if you continue ahead. Sell it now or forget 'bout it. Do not die for Putin, sell your tank to me and go back with your loved ones.

I'd buy one of those tiger transporters the special forces use. If any Russian soldiers are reading this I'd be willing to pay $1k for one. That's more than you guys earn in a month of service under fire. Like what are the chances of you guys getting hit by a drone missile or a javelin in one of those things? Pretty high, right? You won't survive a month, and with $1k you'd be able to buy yourselves a nice ticket out and spend the summer sunbathing in Greece, drinking ice cold vodka.

Jokes aside, you can make a lot of money if you're a Russian soldier in Ukraine.
They offer 5 million rubles ($40k) and amnesty if you surrender voluntarily. Then they also offer money for captured tanks and equipment. Say you're a tank battalion commander. You give an order and all your soldiers give up and also drive your tanks to enemy base, waving white flag. Each of you gets more money than they'd earn in a year and you as a commander will probably get the bounty for vehicles. That's better than dying in someone else's war.

I cannot help but to add here the instructions to make a white flag out of a Russian Federation flag. Thanks to suchmoon.

Feel free to pass this on to any Russian soldiers you know:

Just for Putin's soldiers and officers, please notice that you can cut your flag with anything, you do not really need scissors. I suggest that you use the edge of a rations can, these seem to cut even when you do not want them too and can cut the flag perfectly.

Do not die for Putin. Live to see your family again.

Ukrainians selling armored vehicles and Western weapons for Russian Rubles
https://www.bitchute.com/video/fPoFwvT4Zaac/
Lol!

Also, I'm sure a lot have people have seen this already (or heard some spin on it), but it serves as a good reminder to people in a war zone to maintain situational awareness at all times...even if there does seem to be an opportunity to get selfies next to a captured trophy:  [Caution, this is the NSFW version and it illustrates some realities about munitions effects.]

  https://www.bitchute.com/video/eNR0S2PKvhI8/

Honestly, I don't know for sure the veracity of any of the footage.  It all could be staged or spun.  From the totality of what I know about things, the most logical explanation is that yes, some AFU people are selling their weapons for rubles (as I would), and yes, the squad were preoccupied with a propaganda tasking and didn't realize the identity/disposition of the tank crew for some reason.
