Zero arguments that BTC surpasses them all ( Cryptocurrencies ), if one should venture/delve into alternative coin's that'll last for the next five to six years, What are the top Coin values ? what should I look at ?
I believe diversification is no bad thing as it increases returns, and exposes one to many opportunities.

Diversification is okay, but too much of it is better not.
And if you are looking for what coin will last in the next five years, there are many choices in the top ten from the marketcap data, maybe you can choose Ethereum straightly then there is BNB and SOL and also MATIC with the Polygon network. I think they will last more than five years because each of them has certain specialties.

Many coins have survived now and even more than 5 years too, for example Dogecoin, Matic, BNB and also Ethereum as you said, and I'm sure they will all exist and survive forever in the crypto space with newer developments

In addition to the proven Ethereum, you can also choose Binance because their seriousness in developing themselves has proven to be great because so far BNB is one of the coins with the most number of transactions.

Basically they are just regular projects but they are consistent with its development.
I don't think there's any way to know for sure that the project can last up to 5 years.
just like ethereum, they are initially the same as the projects we encountered when they were initially launched,
they use public sales, promotions, and also complete important documents.
It's just that the coins that we have seen so far have lasted for more than 5 years,
they are really consistent in developing their projects seriously so that they get a lot of support from the community.
We can only be sure if the project is really consistent with the updates, at least it looks like they will survive in the long term.

First of all you may consider to add in your portfolio the native tokens/coins of some big crypto currency exchanges personally I prefer BNB, KCS and HTB I think these altcoins are much capable to grow in next five or six years beside these I also have expectations with ETH, Matic, ADA, XLM, SHIB and LTC in my opinion these altcoins may give decent performance in next few years.

Sometime like tera luna and avalanche. You may add some tokens from the low tier of CMC as well. This may give you another chance to earn good profit from the market. I think that another token liek anchor protocol was good enough to be considered as your future investment too.

Diversification was a must if you wanna see your portfolio to grow. Peg with the major coins will not grow your portfolio and it will be making you will not able to get decent profit from your investment.

If for the next 5 years the altcoins that might give us the ideal profit are Ethereum, BNB, Solana, Matic, and Avax. If I'm to pick up altcoin that I consider worthy for long term hold, I'll certainly go for those altcoin that makes up the first 20 on the coin market cap. Coin like ethereum would be the top pick, binance coin, litecoin, tron, Solana and other good metaverse projects. Five years is a long time from now and in this space there are no certainties.

Metaverse tokens and coins are new kind and we are not sure if it will last a long time. We have other trends before like ICO but ICO didn't last a few years, that's what I'm worrying. Binance coin is related to binance exchange but we are also not sure if this exchange is still going to be strong in the next five years or so, because there are now lots of exchanges that are competing with each other.

I am afraid that if binance will collapse its coins bsc and binance coin are also going to crash too but if there is one altcoin I'm sure of that will last on the given year, that will only be Ethereum because if we check the date of this coin, it's already over five years or more since this coin existed so I am sure it will go for another five years or more.

Generally, I believe in Exchanges coins that can survive for long but one must not be conservative that he would sell only after 5 years might be in 1-2 years time you would get huge profit so follow the selling strategy according to the market sentiments. I have trust in Matic, Ada, Solana, BNB, Ethereum, Polkadot, FTX, Kucoin, Uniswap, and 1inch. I hope these coins will perform better in the coming years as their supporting community keeps growing.

To hold altcoins in the long term of about 5 years and looking for bigger profits, I personally recommend holding the top altcoins, including eth, bnb, matic, cardano, solana. Despite what you mentioned, I won't forget Solana, Luna and Avax. If a dump occurs and it is confirmed that the three altcoins are also worthy of being queued with a fairly commensurate percentage, maybe around 15% to 25% as a preparation allocation. The reason, this altcoin has been developing well for some time. and some of their no less interesting launch projects. Investors play in it and take profit.

you should look at the most important things when it comes choosing a crypto project that will last for 5 years, such the market cap and those projects that has useful network on the space because IMO surely they will not die for how many years as long as there's a lot of people using it for making transactions..

for example Bnb,Eth, polygon and probably xrp since it has very low fees until now.
