Hello everyone, good to meet you all.

I today purchased $50 of bitcoin to dabble with so to try and get a feel for how these things function, though i might have done so too quickly before having everything set up. I downloaded Armory wallet, clicked on the wallets ID, clicked "Receive Bitcoin", where an address was generated that i used to make the bitcoin purchase. Though i'd just started up Armory and it wasn't yet fully online at the time i made the purchase. Moonpay said the bitcoin was purchased and delivered, and while the Armory is now online, i have yet to receive the bitcoin. At the moment i'm waiting till tomorrow, but i'm unsure if the purchase actually followed through, if the address wasn't active or something since the armory hadn't been online yet, so if the bitcoins hanging in internet space somewhere now.

Looking for someone with some insight on the matter, and thank you very much for the assistance. Far as what additional info you may require i am unsure.

First of all note that it doesn't matter if Armory wasn't online when receiving bitcoin.

Enter the address you used for receiving bitcoin on a block explorer like blockchair to see the balance and the transaction history of the address.
Do you see the transaction receiving 50 dollars worth of bitcoin there?
If no, you haven't received any bitcoin.
If yes and Armory is fully synced, you should see the receiving transaction and the balance.

Are you sure that Armory is fully synced? What's the number of blocks it's showing at bottom right corner of the window? It should be around 726,000 blocks.
If the wallet is fully synced, one possibility is that you have used a wrong address. Are you sure that 1EkuNL..........belongs to your wallet? To see addresses generated by Armory, click on "Addresses" at top of the window and select "View address book". Please check all the characters to see if it matches with an address generated by Armory.

There is only 364523 blocks connected at the moment, though the address was listed in the address book.
Set it to rescan the database and restarted, went up to 373787.
I'm currently also updating bitcoin core, i think armory uses the same file for the block?
Once it's completed i'm assuming it'll have a chance to go through.

There is only 364523 blocks connected at the moment, though the address was listen in the address book.
So your wallet isn't synced and that's why you don't see the transaction in question.

If you are in hurry or you don't want to download the blockchain (which is nearly 400 gigabytes of data), you can export your private key and import it into a spv wallet like electrum.
In SPV wallets, you don't have to download the blockchain.

Warning:
SPV wallets don't give you the privacy wallets like bitcoin core and Armory give you.
In SPV wallets, you connect to a server which can link your addresses with your IP.

Edit:
i think armory uses the same file for the block?
Correct.
Armory use the data downloaded by bitcoin core.

Alright awesome, looks as though everything should fall into place. Don't mind the wait to download, will leave it on overnight, and I'll get back tomorrow and give an update on how things are going.

Thank you so much for the help. Maybe i'll do well enough with figuring out trading next to give back a tip or something at some point ha

Alright, skipped a day there, but everything has gone through. Tried syncing it today, it completed, and armory now has the 0.00079 bitcoin. Have to do more figuring far as what to do next with it and securely, but this is quite thrilling. Feels if i'm actually doing something, participating in a not so near future yet to of entirely arrived lol.

Thank for the heads up far as spv, and for all the help setting this up.

Are you fine running a wallet as a full node it always needs to be fully synced to see the updated wallet balance and it requires big space?

I'd like to suggest if you only use it for small transactions and not for holding Bitcoin you can use Electrum wallet but if it's for privacy purposes and for contributing to the network then stay using Bitcoin core.
