Among huobi wallet, trust wallet and Atomic wallet which is the best for a newbie that wants to buy some altcoins? I did research and it says electrum is the best mobile wallet but no electrum for altcoins.
trust wallet and safepal is actually quite good and recommended now, I use both to store my altcoins and so far there have been no problems, everything is smooth, from withdrawals to safe deposits. trust wallet and safepal already have a lot of users around the world and until now both reputation is still very good.

Not that Safepal is only close source just like Trustwallet, it is an hardware wallet that is at all not recommendable, there are many hardware wallets that are open source that can be gone for just like the list I have once posted before:

Open Source Hardware Wallets

Safepal is not only close source, wallet like Electrum can not be used as an extension with it. If there are numerous alternatives, while then going for unrecommendable ones.

Recommended wallets

For privacy: Bitcoin Core or running your own Electrum server
Best light client (SPV): Electrum
Best for anonymity: Wasabi
Best hardware: Open Source Hardware Wallets

Most online altcoin wallets like Huobi wallet, Trustwallet and Atomic wallet are close source, you can read more about open source hardware wallet above and check the ones that support the altcoins of your choice.

[General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?

Thanks for the info even I will also read the details to gain my knowledge through the link you provided. If you ask my advice I would suggest you use a hardware wallet if you can spend some money on buying a Hardware wallet otherwise most of us use a Trust wallet that supports most of the coins.

Coinbase Wallet[/b] is an excellent wallet for beginners who have little to no experience with crypto.

Not really because its not really a wallet its something similar to bank they control our funds but what a cryptocurrency wallet is actually has to give complete control over the funds we hold. I agree that its easier to use and lots of people were using it for years but you will regret once you face the problems because most of them will never be resolved and their support don't really try to resolve but keep asking the victim to follow the same procedure over again and again.

Coinbase wallet can be accessed on any browser as well, but you need to give Authorization while logging in from web browser on a new device.

I think you can use safepal for your hardware wallet, if you want to buy more altcoins because this wallet is quite cheap compared to other wallets,
if you want free use trustwallet, imtoken,
and keep in mind never store large amounts of assets in an exchange wallet

Among huobi wallet, trust wallet and Atomic wallet which is the best for a newbie that wants to buy some altcoins? I did research and it says electrum is the best mobile wallet but no electrum for altcoins.

I personally use metamask as my wallet for the internetbrowser and exodus as my desktop wallet which i have installed on my desktop PC. Metamask supports the Ethereum Chain, the Binance Smart Chain and Polygon. Exodus is a multi-curreny desktop wallet which supports many different coins and blockchains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Lumen and many more. I had good experience with both wallets and i had no problem using them ever so far.
In addition to those wallets i have a few others installed on my desktop which are native to the specific coins and needed in order to stakes those coins like IOTA, Radix and Waves.
Just remember to never give away your seed phrase and alwasy doublecheck if you are downloading the official wallet and no scam software.

Ledger nano X is an offline crypto hardware wallet and this makes the wallet the best of the best, also there are few hardware wallets that are not open source which makes them bad choice for people trying to buy and use such wallet.

For a Newbie Trust Wallet will be easy to use, as it is simple and it's interface is also good. You can hold your coins for a short term in the trust wallet but for long term I will suggest you to buy a hardware wallet and store your altcoins there. It will be more secure for you.

I think you just need to find a metamask for one of the multi-functional wallets you need or just open MEW for an ETH wallet address, good luck and usefulness.

I use metamask wallet i tried other wallets like trust wallet but never really got the hang of others and just kept hodling my metamask wallet. But you could also store your coins on a exchange which is risky by most but if you enable all the security steps and don't log into suspicious sites you're most likely gonna be fine but still DEFI's are not a good place to store long term! If you finally get your wallet running don't forget to do much research about coins. I got recommended $ENGN which is Gaming token and #Lunafi which takes safe gambling to metaverse with Yield Farming for annual rewards , Don't forget always DYOR!

That's right. Coinbase support is terrible, I also helped my friend contact coinbase once when he had a problem with his coinbase wallet. They don't solve problems for customers quickly, they make very complicated requests that frustrate the victims.
Among huobi wallet, trust wallet and Atomic wallet which is the best for a newbie that wants to buy some altcoins? I did research and it says electrum is the best mobile wallet but no electrum for altcoins.
Out of the 3 wallets you mentioned, I think the Trust wallet is really an easy-to-use wallet suitable for newbies, it offers the ability to store most of the altcoins on the market.

Backed by a reputable exchange that is able to recoup lost or stolen assets

CONS
Similar security issues and weak points as other hot storage alternatives

Why we chose it: We chose Coinbase Wallet as the best crypto wallet for beginners because it’s an intuitive and highly secure wallet that is backed by a well-known exchange.

Coinbase Wallet
is an excellent wallet for beginners who have little to no experience with crypto. The app can connect to most major bank accounts and has an interface that is welcoming and easy to navigate, consisting of a simple three-tab layout and clearly identifiable functions. Coinbase Wallet can store non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and digital collectibles, and it supports over 500 crypto assets — the largest number among hot wallets on this list.

Do you know that it's easier to stick with your first crypto wallet as a newbie without wanting to try another out? Telling newbies to use coinbase wallet as a beginner is wrong, if anything happens to coinbase new users will be stuck too imagine that type of experience for a newbie.

There is no good open source wallet that support too many coins (multi-coins) so you should download several open source wallets:

If you have little money, buy a hardware wallet.

From your list that represents {Among huobi wallet, trust wallet and Atomic wallet } I prefer trust wallet

For privacy: Bitcoin Core or running your own Electrum server
He said the best wallet for beginners, BitcoinCore wallet is not designed for beginners especially if you do not have any technical experience or fast and stable internet then it is not a suitable choice for beginners.
Do not include metamask as a open source crypto wallet, now they are more of a centralised wallet because they block users that are using Iran IP address even Venezuela is also affected, if you make a transaction it won't get delivered If you don't believe search for the news online.
Metamask is non custodial wallet, so it doesn't hold your property. If they block the user then you can use the seed phrase generated from the metamask import into any other non custodial wallet like trust wallet, coin98. You can continue to make transactions without any problem.

I only use Metamask wallet to keep my ERC20, BEP20, Polygon. as for me very easy to navigate and not too techy to use. as I can say "User Friendly, especially for a newbie"

Well, you need to choose the wallet based on the altcoins you want to invest in. There is no wallet that can manage all coins. Therefore, you should first be clear about which coins you want to buy and based on that you have to choose the wallet. You will probably need several wallets anyway.

I am fine with coinomi but it is not open source, there would also be eidoo wallets which is very comfortable and intuitive, and let's not forget the good old metamask

I am using mycelium wallet.  Way handy to use when you want to store your bitcoins. You can have simple account and HD account with key difference in the pass phrase. You can generate pdf containing all the information regarding your public keys and private keys. In addition to this they will give you 12 word password to enter in the first place.

Mycelium wallet seems very easy to use and restore if you ran into emergency situation someday. Better choose your wallet very carefully.

I would say stick to only one wallet and have the keys noted down on multiple locations.

We always take it casually, but write it!
