It's not every day we make such a long bet and be successful. Especially in a sport that in the beginning there are many candidates.
I still thought of american athletes, who are always very strong. Or Australians, who in this case was the female winner

I think this was my longest bet haha, and 8.0 was awesome, I wish I had more money to put
North Americans and Australians dominated the championship for a long time, since 1964. If you want I can post here more info about all champions and countries.
But since 2014 with the title of Gabriel Medina, the "brazilian storm" took the world tour.
Brazil were always competitive in surf, but since 2014 it's incredible how many surfers are out there, surfing in great style.
To the next year, it's better if I post here one week before the championship starts, but I think the title will be in one of these hands:
