There's only one that I can think of right now and that's kucoin but you can also add crypto.com to that list. That makes two of them and their particular tokens are;
- Kucoin shares
- CRO
Huobi has also their token, huobi token so that makes it three exchanges.

Ftx exchange token FTT is another one to consider, although am not familiar with the exchange but it seems good enough. Kucoin kcs is good one, and okex okb, I think these 3 exchanges has the potential to be around for long and can also be a great long term investment.

I would pay attention to DEX exchanges, they are more decentralized and convenient, just a few clicks and you can trade with one wallet, add liquidity, stake, farm and also play games and much more. These are such as: Uniswap, Sushiswap, PancakeSwap.

Uniswap may have a very small chance but Pancakeswap won't be as big as Binance and that's what CryptoATM is looking for. Sushiswap may never exceed Uniswap in exchange trade volume and token price.

You also talk about convenience since they are easy to use but failed to mention the higher transaction fees from interacting with smart contracts.

There are exchanges like Huobi or Coinbase that are basically already as big as Binance so i guess those don't fall into the category of exchanges that you are looking for as they are already a tier 1 exchanges. From the smaller or tier 2 exchanges i only use KuCoin frequently and so far i have to say that my experience there has been flawless. That is also the reason, why i bought a few KuCoin Shares some time ago an the price development of those has also been good. You also get a nice share of the trading fees each and every day if you are holding your Kucoin Shares on the Exchange itself but of course that is a little risky because "not your key not your coin" is still true after all.

The competition is growing but seriously, most of the top exchange today are hard to replace and I can’t see any new other names to compete, maybe I’m too close for opportunity but with Binance I find my peace of mind so I believe they will remain to be on top since they are also growing. If new exchange emerge into this market, that could be a one since we can have more good options now.

I don't know if Cex will still be much desire in the future in this age of non-custodial dexes. FTX is a great exchange and doing great things, it has low withdrawal fees and great community support. KCS is good, I trade on their dex, CRO is  a sleeping giant. I hope they burn supply with time.

I would use my preference for decentralized exchange tokens. As for centralized exchange "Kucoin, Gate, Mexc (mexc is a bit expensive) and FTX" attract my attention. They are not yet fully popular. But I don't think they will be as popular as Binance one day. Because BNB is not just a centralized exchange coin. A huge platform with its own ecosystem... There are hundreds of active projects on Binance Chain today. To be honest, I don't think any of them will grow as big as Binance.

I will bet into the some exchange site slike kucoin, this exchange site has become the major exchange site but it's not as big as binance right now. I will not bet into the low tier exchange site caused by the service is not so good as kucoin to maintain its users. Kucoin has the same characteristics with binance exchange site. You can go with FTX, kucoin and GATE or HUOBI. Im sure that these exchange sites will become major exchange sites that enters into the top 3 in the future.
It's caused by binance is expanding its service so fast compared with another exchange site. That being said that if those exchange site potentially to be the same like binance exchange site.
I think that we will see that later. I hope this gonna be another bullrun for sure.

I only have BNB and KCS as long term crypto exchange coins. Dividing the risk always works better. You should also buy crypto exchange coins with only a part of it, not with all your savings

i think kucoin can be your add to portofolio and one more thing try look at cronos (cro) i think cro can be big to like binance maybe, and when i tried filtering in cmc based on centralized exchange, cro was at number 2 based on market cap

They have their own tokens and you can consider to own some of them as your portfolios. it's good to see that if you wanna investing in the right project. I should remind you that these exchange sites have different way to attract new users. They have different features as well.

kucoin/huobi has a great opportunity to follow in Binance's footsteps. these two exchanges meet some of the criteria to be worthy of being a major exchange and could possibly co-exist with Binance. there is also a coinbase, but I have my doubts about this exchange because regulations make it difficult for them. if this exchange is from other country and not too focused on US, maybe coinbase can be the best.

Dex exchanges sucks, this is just my own experience with dex vs cex, I will choose cex over dex every day and all thanks goes to binance, kucoin and gate as their user experience is far better than any other.

I'm expecting kucoin, coinex, gate to be as big as binance someday but it's going to be hard to see team's like binance team again.

There will be some good exchanges to compete with binance in the future and in my opinion there are currently 2 such exchanges. Which can give it a bump. In which ftx first number, second number huobi and third number I count kucoin. So I have kept these three tokens for long term investment. And you can do the same. This is my opinion.

Binance is the top one cryptocurrency exchange when it comes to security of your funds. I don't see any competitor for Binance, though there are exchanges that are also good to store your coins. People use Binance for different purposes, you can buy coins for long term or short term. They haven't been any complaint relating to lose of coins so far. The CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao is capable of taking Binance to the next level, and he will do well in the possible future. I don't see any exchange that have Donated bitcoins to refugees as Binance charity. They are gaining popularity in the world so far.

I will be frank with you, I don't think that any exchange can be as successful as binance exchange anymore, the success of binance lies in the hand of its CEO and that man is a rare race when it comes to dedicated hardworking, outside of the exchange this man wants crypto adoption to become a reality, he is more than just an exchange CEO for the crypto world.

No exchange can be as good as Binance exchange and Binance isn't even perfect too I'm sure that there are exchanges other than Binance that offers better feature than Binance even if it's a small improvement over what Binance has to offer, everything has it's flaws no matter how perfect they seem.

I think Kucoin will be able to compete to follow Binance's footsteps as long as I use Kucoin I feel that Binance and Kucoin are almost the same as being worthy of being a trusted exchange place and the system is almost the same.
Maybe in the future there will be another exchange that will be able to compete with Binance.
Although each exchange must have its own risks.

So far the quality position of the exchange is stagnant in my opinion, no one can replace binance yet.
maybe you can try a market with a slightly lower tier, such as Kucoin, MXC, FTX, CRO.
I'm sure they're at least more worthy in case binance ever runs into trouble.
Another solution is if you have large assets, it is better to store them in a personal wallet to make it look more secure using a hardware wallet which is currently more secure.
