The reason people join bitcointalk forum

Everything falls in the bracket of either "knowledge" or "money" but then again this is the central place where you are guaranteed of get the correct information  related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as there isn't any other.

This is one of the oldest Bitcoin forums and the only one I am personally active in, but it's not the only good source of Bitcoin-related information. Stack Exchange has plenty of knowledgeable individuals who can also help those who run into problems. When searching for solutions to some issues, I have often found that the information on Stack Exchange is very good. Google positions them quite high in terms of search results as well.

I don't know if the altcoin section is the best place to discuss alternative coins and the technology though. Maybe someone could name 5 great posters with extensive knowledge of altcoins? Whoever is active in the Bitcoin discussion boards wouldn't have any issues naming knowledgeable individuals there and would certainly receive any help needed.

I am pretty sure that most people join this Bitcointalk forum at first to seek for salary, to get money as what they see from their friends and others. This is also what I was when at first joining this forum, I wanted to earn a lot of money from this forum like what happened to my friends at that time in 2017.

you're somewhat right about this as it happens in most situations, but I've seen a large number of users here as well who doesn't mind engaging in a signature campaign neither were they after any bounty, i think this forum has been the most appropriate platform to get any information needed about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies without having any second thought on the reliability of the informations here, this forum will serve as a guide to having a good experience for a practical application as well, so i see no reason why such users should deviate from their major purpose into hunting for campaign, while some can not even go by the campaign rules and see no reason joining.

Some more numbers of people join bitcointalk forum for one or two reasons, to gain knowledge or for both the money and the knowledge. The zeal to make money has made many to learn more about bitcoin even if their main motive of joining the bitcointalk forum is to just make money to earn a living. They need to go on research and learn more about bitcoin in order to make qualitative and informative post to gain more merit in order to rank up and get higher pay in signatures they’re participating it. In other words, the knowledge gain can be shared with new members who come to the forum to ask about a particular thing they’re not so sure of.
Either ways, the motive of joining the forum has made many to still achieve the primary aim of why the group is created. To learn about the basics of bitcoin and how the market works plus mining.

I have to agree with this because in the gool ol' days of Bitcointalk where airdrops and bounties are paying big amounts, most of the new members here are having the purpose to make money by joining bounty programs and not learning and contributing about Bitcoin, blockchain, etc., except posting low quality content, POAs and weekly reports.

Thanks to the merit system, it improves the forum overall by minimizing spam activities and low quality posts. Educating yourself and contributing in a decent way should be the main purpose in joining this forum and not only for the purpose of doing bounties only. Just saying.

Besides all this, information here is free of charge without needing you to pay a dime for it like you would on other platforms .

Nobody will come and would love to leave the forum. The forum has a lot that any body who visits would not like to go back. Every good place where people love to be has good reason why people love it. The forum has a lot to do to solve peoples problems in knowledge and other aspects.

The reason why many people joined bitcointalk forum is because, is a legit site, where you can get any kind of information on cryptocurency investment, and many activity take place, which you can participate on bounty and Airdrop and get rewards and also building account to a higher rank, which can add many advantage on signature post on the forum.

I don't think many will join because of both money and knowledge. I even came across a newbie who wanted to increase his rank but failed to do so as he is focused on joining bounty which I'm sure he must have joined some scam bounties and even earn less. If you really here for knowledge only then you wouldn't have said money and knowledge since you can work outside the forum like working government or private company. I would say that Bitcointalk is a place where many people share knowledge and information then you'll surely learn here and never get discouraged like other newbies did.

This forum also has a marketplace and a board for services, where it allows everyone to buy and sell, and the payment method is crypto. In addition, this forum has useful boards to discuss trading, signals, and development for Bitcoin and altcoins. There are also local boards to increase awareness and gain experience in your native language. There are boards to answer questions for beginners, so we can say that this forum is useful for people in everything related to cryptocurrency or otherwise.

Knowledge begat money in any ecosystem bitcointalk not exempted. Most bounty hunters have their own motive. I think every one is entitled to their motive of been on the forum the progress over time will sieve the knowledgeable and the bounty/ airdrop hunters. I my own opinion knowledge is a strong currency it guarantees even better pay if acquired

Those who come just to make money without any other benefit like knowledge then I'm sure they have wasted a lot of their time on this forum. But it is hard to say that they are not knowledgeable at all because in fact they know how to trade and make a profit.

I don't think all forum users are technically savvy with bitcoin and whatnot, but I think as long as they know how to use it and know the basics then I think they are considered knowledgeable. It is possible that an experienced trader may not be able to contribute to the forum because they cannot express their opinion well. So from a different point of view, there are times when people we consider to be spammers may still be knowledgeable users but cannot express their opinions well while writing.

I agree with this one and even though they are knowledgeable yet they still spam just for the sake of earning money and learn at the same time. Before, I was like that where I can't fully express my opinion and what I want to say so instead of them understanding my point but they criticize me. Well, it did help me through that and I am glad because of that. I wouldn't have what I have and learned today if not because of those who contributed a lot to this forum and guide me.

New members can learn from older and more experienced members, or present their crypto projects, and more experienced members can monetize their knowledge and experience through signature campaigns.
