Yup. Just like what the title says. I have recently been recommended or referred (since it was a referral link that got me to register) by a friend of a friend into an online sports betting site. Being new to such things, I thought I should ask opinions from veterans here whether such things do exist or not. Although that friend claims that he had already made huge amount of cash from this site, I am still pretty skeptical and haven't topped up yet. But I gotta admit it is pretty fun and appealing to me, just wanna make sure before I put some money into it.

Another Edit: I have tried the website out since I had a few extra profits on binance just to get it over with. Sent about 10k php and is now 12+k.
will be updating in a few weeks if I manage to get back my capital plus profits or I get scammed.

- One thing I've realized though is that it is pretty rare to get authentic help from people you don't know and so if you don't have anyone you know that can answer your questions, test things out yourself though you may suffer consequences, at least you save yourself from the hassle of being ridiculed or explaining you're not a scammer or anything.


Also, many thanks to everyone who have answered me seriously and had real intentions to help. I believe in good karma and so I hope someone helps you guys as well in times of need.

Another edit : apparently there are issues going on about LMB right now and the TG is not recieving messages anymore just a bet signal and a note that users who top up more than 20% of actual account balance will have hastened withdrawal processing time. Now it is really looking more of a scam.

Haven't tried withdrawing funds yet just to see what'll happen although I already know what will. Just trying to give it some benefit of the doubt I guess.

And for the one accusing me of changing the link or whatever to avoid suspicion of some sort, I didn't. And most of the people who were in this thread earlier than you can testify on that. The feeling of being at the recieving end of accusations isn't good. Hope it doesn't happen to you people.

Okay, so I am already up 17k+ but the withdrawal and deposit buttons have disappeared as seen below and the telegram is blocking messages now. Seems like the scammers finally decided to rake in the net.

With what I understood, the site was claiming to be a charitable something and they give signals for bets and the signals they give never lose so it seems with the time I've been there. So up to now, I really cannot confirm as to whether they would really return the money if bets ever lose. But yes, if by a miraculous chance they decide to come back(which is impossible in my opinion), I will post an update on this post.

This has been an amazing learning experience for me both in scams like this and the way some people are too lazy to look into details more and choose to accuse and conclude right there and then because it's easier.

Anyway, I hope that this experience that I have shared here would be able to help newbies like me in the online gambling space to avoid getting scammed or the hassle of having to ask random people about such things.

There are betting sites like that, even most betting site are having such feature now because they are using it to make profit.

Assuming you take club A to win club B with $10, 2 odds. That means your profit is $20 if you win.

If the match has started and they are playing draw, the $10 you stake will be reducing drastically as the match continue with draw or the other team is winning, or you can cash out if you think the match can end draw or club B would win.

If club B score 1 goal, the amount you want to cash out will reduce to the amount you do not like, and the more the match goes on, the money will be reducing.

It can get to a point the cash out will no more be available.

Cash out will still be in a way the person would have been losing some amount or would no more be available.
I will advice you to just take gambling as fun and play your game as fun, anything can happen. I have long time not going for cash out again, I use it when I was addicted to gambling unlike now. I take a club or team to win and I do not care if anything happens as I use the amount I can afford to lose.

Did you ask if there is a membership or rankings on the betting site? They offer more with VIPs or like bronze, silver, platinum ranks and maybe he joined it and has some perks. I have not experienced that yet. Most betting sites I used were just giving back the bet money because a game was VOID, that's it. Or if you are using player props, it's because the player didn't play even for one minute.
Why don't you share the site so that we could also check it? Didn't he mention it yet?

Either you are a scammer, your friend is a scammer, or that site is going trying to sucker in as many depositors as possible before running with everyones money. The very fact that you are even suggesting that a sportsbook returns your money on losses and presumably returns your money plus extra if you win, makes me think you are in on this whole scheme. Simple logic will tell you that sportsbooks are not a charity, they are around to make money and how exactly are they making any money if they just give back bets if people lose? The very basis for placing a bet is the element of risk, the sportsbook accepts the bet because they find an acceptable price for taking on the risk that they will win instead of you. You really deserve full red trust for pedaling such ideas.

I am pretty sure they find other creative ways to screw you over. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Either their rates suck or they randomly enforce KYC or something else. This kind of stuff won't let the casino make any profits and if the casino can't make profits it will go bankrupt. Since the house can't go bankrupt, in end it must be the players that pay for this feature. You are wise to be skeptical about this.

There's no wrong if you try to follow your friend's advice, as long as you only bet a small amount first so that if you lose, it won't hurt you that much. After all, you won't know if he's telling the truth or not unless you're going to experience it by yourself. But always remember that once you're into gambling, never expect winning all the time, you will surely lose but somehow if you get lucky, you will win an amount more than you lose.

That is quite a strange thing. This is definitely the first time I have heard of sports betting sites that return your money when you lose. Why would a betting site do that? Is that even gambling at some point?

Maybe you are talking about losing but getting a small amount of your winnings back? Perhaps that could be seen as a marketing tactic to get more people to visit their gambling site.

In any case it sounds fishy to me and I would probably steer clear of that site. Might be a scam. DYOR.

i don't know if the site is legit but checking the site it says it has about 221k online. I have the impression that this is not authentic. I couldn't find any review from trustpilot also considering that they have tons of users. Be very cautious sending money to this site. Never heard this bookie in the forum. If they have that number of players, the name should have brought up in this forum.

I have this belief that anyone claiming to be earning huge amount of money doesn't participate in referral programs. He may be your personal friend in real life but have you seen proofs of his claim?

The site has been registered in 2017 but I can't tell if the domain has been bought and change to a sporsbetting site recently.

What the hell is a bookie that returns your money, that's not a bookie, that's a scam trying to look like a sportsbook and are doing a really bad job at it. If you're really keen on betting, just use any other reputable sportsbook out there, why bother trying out a dubious one. It's a friend of a friend, that's basically a stranger ain't it? Pretty sure no one in their right mind would willy nilly follow a recommendation by a stranger (so OP did a gj asking around first).

Myself too had the same thought, because every gambling site focus on profit and they doesn't want to go bankrupt. As said this is something a new kind of scam to target gamblers. As more cryptocurrency accepted gambling platforms are emerging regularly they might've thought of creating a new plan to scam. It is like, they'll try to make a little out of the plan and go away.

1.It doesn't make any sense.How are they going to make money,if they refund all lost bets?
2.It sounds too good to be true,which means that it is too good to be true.Which means that this is a just a scam,trying to deceive many gamblers with false promises.
3.I assume that this "friend of a friend" tried to refer you to this website,only for the sake of getting a referral commission or something.
I would stay away from such websites.
