Was a nice move by Elon Musk to buy Twitter. Paying 44bn USD for it isn't even 20% of his networth and since he likes to hold a lot of his money in liquid assets it shouldn't hurt him much. I am wondering why so many people are against this acquisition. Elon Musk is an active twitter user himself, if he has a new vision for twitter why not give him a chance? It seems all the left wing activities are afraid to lose power on twitter. But Elon already stated he wants to promote freedom of speech on twitter. So we might see a wider spread of different opinion and users can argue against each other. In the end it comes down to the readers to remain critical and not believe everything they read online.

To be honest I thought it will not happen! I followed the news about it, and there were a lot of different stories from all sides, but in the end, he bought it, and now Musk has the main say on Twitter!
I agree with you, this purchase will not hurt him much financially, and yet with some real vision, and I'm sure Musk has it, this investment has great potential! The most interesting question for me is whether Musk will completely open Twitter to crypto and in what way he can do it?! This is probably the most interesting for all of us crypto lovers, and I think there is a good chance that it will happen.

The problem of our generation is that we judge people without knowing who they are, we pay more attention to the words of others. They do not think about how the man is actually, Capable or not? 

When they read something negative about someone on the internet, they start believing. Elon Musk himself is an active Twitter user. He is buying Twitter because he can afford it. What are our objections to this? 

Maybe he has a plan with Twitter. Sort of redesigned. We should think positively. I don't believe he bought Twitter just only hyped Cryptocurrency, Actually, he just fall in love with this brand.
And he likes to acquire well-known Brand, that's why he said his next target is Coca-Cola.

it doesn't sound like free speech too since he just banned Bill Gates and we all know he hates Gates a long time ago. just recently he troll him and then Gates taught him about being a philanthropist. Elon didn't like it and bam! banned.  He fired Twitter board too so they are all jobless  

if this is about his politics then the demo is not just the only one in danger on this platform. but i do hope he will really add doge in his plan for the twitter. i'm bagging  my life savings.

LOL.. Gates being a philanthropist? Irony just died a thousand deaths. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation was established just to evade tens of billions of USD worth of taxes. They did a few token charity work in underdeveloped world, but as far as I know most of the money was spent on shady deals such as speaking fees and administration. Essentially Bill Gates made BMGF a legal avenue to share his wealth with politicians. Compared to him, Elon has been much more honest in paying his taxes.

Remember what he says before Twitter decided to sell it to him? He said, he is the only person that could make Twitter to add some extra ordinary feature. But, we also have to remember that Elon's actions are always on his favour.

Elon is a businessman, and the reason why he purchased Twitter is to make even more profit out of it. If you compare Twitter with other social media platforms such as Facebook, you can notice that the market cap and net profits are only a tiny fraction of what is expected. Hopefully Elon will be able to monetize various avenues in Twitter and generate more profit. And who knows, he maybe able to expand the user base and make the platform even larger than it's competitors. And more importantly, he will be able to make Twitter a politically neutral platform.

Despite the lies spewed about them, billionaires only care about making more money. To think he would make so much money is hard to believe. I believe he has a plan as a businessman. There had been a report that he is planning on charging Twitter account holders. Let's see what Elon comes up with. Change is needed! However, there is also the opposite opinion. There will be a MASS exodus, and this will turn out to be a disastrous investment for him.

Exactly, Although Facebook and Instagram are used a lot, the use of Twitter is much less than that. There are even many who do not know Twitter.  Elon Musk is a successful businessman. Is it a better service? Obviously twitter or Elon will provide it because for what sense someone will pay and still get the same service as what the previous twitter offers.

Elon and twitter can suspend pages and they can state a reason that they need to pay if they want to continue using the platform. Advertisement and subscription are both important so he should focus on them both.

I find the timing suspiciously odd given Musk's intent on buying Twitter and freeing up the platform from the heavy handed enforcement of the wokesters on the Twitter moderation team. "Hit piece" does not even begin to underscore the mud slinging campaign against Elon Musk.
