I wonder if your friend has told you the true story without hiding anything.  If so, this is great, but I would wonder how they are doing now, esp during the bear session/crypto winter.

Assuming his friend have being trading for a long time now and has built skills over the years with experience, he may be wrong to want to perform the same way the friend will. I guess the best thing for ops to do is to try to get the friend to help him through in form of mentoring and guidance before he can make a good and accurate trading decision.

I wouldn't say someone is a good trader unless he has been profitable for at least 6-12 months if day-trading and 1-2 years if swing trading. It is also important to assess what assets and market environments he has navigated . As you will find out trading stocks is totally different endeavour than trading FX or crypto. Each has its own intricacies and drivers, especially if you're also looking at fundamentals and not just technical indicators. But anyways markets move at different paces and a good is either limiting himself to what he does best or he has a wide skill set and toolbox.

It is very important to look at it from both sides in terms of profit and loss because basically crypto is a big risk and we have to be prepared for the worst case scenario,

Trading is not the same as traditional business, doing trade here in the cryptocurrency is too risky, that is why you need to choose in between to risk your capital or not. If not, that means you are not suitable to stay here in this field business.

This is probably not going to happen due to the huge volatility in the market at this moment, with a large amount of new money coming in, and one more thing cryptocurrency trading is a risk not worth taking if you are not ready to lose.

I'm pretty sure his friend isn't a pro trader. A real pro doesn't act that way and won't brag about his earnings from trading but instead tell him how hard it is to dive in that field and teach him from his experiences.

OP is just hyped because of the profit his "pro" trader friend showed and let's just hope he will learn the reality before he lose a huge amount of money.

But your story isn't clear enough did your friend teach you how to trade or you chose to embrace trading with no prior knowledge
if you truly learnt trading you will understand patience is the first step to conquering the market.

Loses is the first profit in every traders adventure. It takes from your mistakes to pay another who had their analysis right. One thing you felt to learn from your friend is patience to start making similar profits.

You are right, now all this I have thought that there is a way that many are applying, and it is in copy trading, and it is currently being widely used by people who have no idea how to start trading, and seeing it well we are in a complicated time to do it, if we look at all the things that are about to happen in the world and that we could list range from a possible nuclear war to the third world war, something that nobody wants, apart from the constant threat of covid19 and the recession of the dollar These are the things that can threaten any trading paradise.

If you heard about his success stories, that doesn't mean that he hasn't been into rough situations. He failed often many times for sure because trading isn't always about winning and taking profits. You will still face tough situations. Trading isn't a shortcut to success. That's definitely a wrong mindset. You have to invest time and knowledge for you to reach your target goal. It's actually a challenging journey.

most people will give advice like you said when asked about investment planning in current conditions. the market looks better even though the correction could still happen again. but it's much better now. and it is natural for people to buy now and make their long term investment plans. After a few weeks of hesitation with very fast changing market conditions, I think it's a good time now for us to get in and start buying back.

What you have not said is fine but here everyone wants to invest little money and get much different from here if he wants to get profit by investing little money then he has to think and see where he can invest money and get more profit with little money.  He has to think like this and then invest and he has to think that I might lose my money.

We are lucky if we have a friend like that that cares for our safety and doesn't hide things to us. These are the ones that we should value not those who are only there because they have hidden agenda's but anyway no matter how aware we are of the risks, mistakes can still be inevitable sometimes but we shouldn't rattle as mistakes can also help us to become good at what we are doing.

There's no one that is excluded in this bear but all who are involved here felt it. Indeed that it's a perfect time for accumulation for both traders and investors but we can't deny that traders are more in favor right now as the price keeps on moving up and down.
