Hey everyone,
So I just lost my phone which had the GA account linked to my Electrum. And as far as I can remember I didn’t get any Seeds when I was signing up in there. How can I regain the access? Is there any way to reset GA for my account or re-link with new GA?

Thanks in advance!

Electrum definitely displayed a seed phrase when you were creating the wallet. It even forced you to enter the seed phrase to confirm you have saved it.

You need the seed phrase to disable 2FA or use the 2FA key to set up the 2FA again.

If you have neither the seed phrase nor the 2FA key, the only thing you can do is to contact trustedcoin support.
In their "Contact us" page, they say that they won't sent you a new key. But that's your only chance and there's nothing else you can do.

He has his Electrum wallet on a lost phone, he can no more access the wallet, even if he contact TrustedCoin, there is nothing they can do as he can no more have access to the wallet and has no seed phrase backup. Assuming if he lost the device he used for 2FA, but can still access the Electrum wallet, he can still try and contact TrustedCoin.

@Theperfectblue
If you have your wallet and 2FA on the same device, do not next time. Best to have them individually on different devices.

About 2FA wallet on Electrum, you can not see the seed phrase on the wallet once the wallet is created already. Even if you create a standard wallet that you can still access the seed phrase on the wallet, better to always still backup your seed phrase offline, like on 2 or 3 paper or steel sheet that should be kept in different locations.

Supposing you have your Electrum 2FA seed phrase backup, you can still eaily have access to your coins and spend it just as hosseinimr93 commented. Offline seed phrase backup is very important to recover your keys needed for spending your coins.

Thanks for the insights

Actually, I have the Electrum on my laptop and 2fa was on the phone. So I have the wallet itself, but not the seeds and google authenticator which was linked as my 2fa.

It seems like Trustedcoin won’t help me in this situation either as they made it clear do not ask for reaetting 2fa key. I understand that this might be suspicious, but I don’t get why google doesn’t link my account to the app so I can recover it with email.

Your account on google authenticator has nothing to do with your email address. You don't even need to enter any email address when creating an account on google authenticator.
Your 2FA code is generated from your secret key using a defined algorithm. It's not that you connect to google server and they give you a code. The google 2FA application is just a tool that does the calculations. There are some other applications that do exactly the same thing.

Just ignore that and send them an email to see if they are willing to help. You don't have any other option to recover your wallet anyway.
If I am not wrong, I think I read about some cases where trustedcoin helped some users to reset their 2fa codes.
You, certainly, will need to prove ownership of the wallet, and in this cade the best way to do this is to contact them from the sane email address you provided when you created the 2fa wallet.
In the meantime try to remember if you have, by chance, stored the seed somewhere.

You are right. Read their reply to the email TryNinja sent them about a year and half ago.
Although I doubt they still help the users to reset the 2FA, I agree with you. As I already said in my previous post, OP should try his/her chance. There is no other option than that.

Of course, they shouldn't be blamed if they aren't helpful in such cases. If they help users to reset the 2FA, it would defeat the purpose of a 2FA wallet.
Assume that someone's computer is compromised and the hacker has now access to both wallet file and the email. If trustedcoin help the hacker to recover the 2FA, the hacker can easily steal the fund while 2FA was supposed to add an extra layer of security.

It seems that they are no longer give you the recovery QR code based on what they said on their contact page

Quote
REQUESTS TO BE SENT A NEW AUTHENTICATOR CODE WILL BE SUMMARILY IGNORED. DO NOT ASK.

Have you tried to search on your PC and maybe you save the seed phrase in the notepad with the name Electrum or Seed try it first and maybe your seed phrase is saved somewhere on your PC.

Then you can recover your 2fa through this https://trustedcoin.com/static/recover/standalone.html it will generate a new wallet file and you can import it to Electrum without 2FA.
