it only showed that they are gambling on what they cannot afford anymore, and the fact that they are thinking of recovering their losses, will only make them lose more as they will not give up until they will fully recover their losses. Sometimes, losing discipline in gambling will result to bigger problem, as instead of using an strategy that will work, we are only following our emotion.

Gambling on what you can't afford to lose is the number one mistake and unfortunately done by so many gamblers, and even investors as well. I have seen too many people commit suicide over this Luna deal. If you are investing money that you would commit suicide over, then maybe you shouldn't really invest that money? It was almost two months hard earned money. Got busted in few minutes. I don't know why I wasn't able to have me within the limits. Just started with a $3 bet, but it went upto $98 and ended with empty wallet. This is completely unlucky, because every bets were placed to roll above 20 which means the winning probability is quite high. Anyhow I wasn't in control and I didn't follow the rule gamble what you can afford to loss. It was a money saved to repay a debt. Now once again the interest needs to be paid so to manage the debt for some more time. Unlucky me

There are some isssues attached with that, some people do not like their spouse to be attached 100% to their financial life and they just want to be in control of their money themselves, just like me and I believe just like other men. It may be the best to do but many will not do that a long as they are living and not psychotic. I seriously think that you don't understand, these gamblers are already addicted and they have dug quite deep enough for themselves because of the debts and unwanted losses but that's the risk they need to face as an addicted gambler. That is also the reason why they badly need help from the people who surround them, but getting some help in that position is not an easy thing to do.

This is the reason why I let my mother and fiance of the time (now wife) know as soon as I lost all my money when I was back in college. Don't get me wrong, I live in a small nation and I didn't had much money, it was like 200 bucks or something and meant nothing to my parents, they laughed at it. But to me, that was like a good few computer games money that I lost, or a few going outs with my fiance money that I lost (probably games lol).
