Hello there
Completely new to all this and the forum but we are looking to sell a physical bitcoin are we in the right place to be or should I use ebay? We are in Wales in UK, its still unpeeled and from 2013 we also bought it in 2013, I understand they can be more valuable as a collectors item, we don't have any crypto online and we are looking to sell can you point us in the right direction?
Many Thanks Emma

Yes, you are in the right place Cheesy
You can have a sale or auction here... can look at previous thread to see how they are set up
Will also want some pictures of the front and back of coin with name/date for provenance.
A popular service for that is https://imgur.com/

Welcome to the forum, Be prepared for a lot of interest in your coin! There are a lot of
experienced members here who will be able to help and advise should you need it,
minerjones above being one.

I posted this already this morning....

Quote
If you would like to post images as a newbie you can pay a small fee to become a copper
member, details in this thread > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0

Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images

I think it would be beneficial to do this, from my sales experience I will use the phrase,

"Expose the product to the risk of sale"

@Emma33 can still post the links of uploaded pictures to suggested picture hoster service. No need to become copper member just for that as she is not experienced with Bitcoin. Anyone who cites her picture links with sufficient user level will make them embedded visible. Potential buyers are well capable to click on links to pictures, I'd assume.

If I didn't know much about crypto, I'd consider seeking help from a friend and just wiping it to an exchange. Premiums in btc terms haven't been the highest and maybe not worth the hassle. Strongly depends on the coin though.

Emma

Welcome to the forum. Everyone above gives good advice. I want to mention that the members of this forum are great and helpful; however, this is also a public space and a lot of scammers hang around looking to trick newcomers. Please be cautious of anyone asking you to exchange money, click on strange links, etc.

My personal advice would be for you to ask MinerJones to run an auction for you. He is one of the most trusted members and is consistently helping other members run auctions and provide escrow in order to make sure there are no problems.

Depending on the quality of the coin you will be able to sell it for more than 1 btc. I think the lowest I have seen, because the coin was in very bad shape, was a closing price of 1.1 btc. \

Steeley

Beware of scammers. I will never discuss the sale of Collectibles on Telegram or any other messaging client outside the forum.

This was the most recent sale here for a brass and it's a 2011 which is generally more coveted than the 2013   Looks like a .04premium but this one was graded at ms66 so you can expect same/less here.  If you are new to selling or don't know what to do here it might be worth a peel to be honest if you are in need of the digital.  With that being said tread lightly whereever you sell this people like to scam :/

If you decide to sell here use a reputable escrow like minerjones to protect both the buyer and seller in the transaction.

One thing too, if you do peel it to pull the Bitcoin off, please be careful with the hologram.  I would be interested in the coin once peeled, as even the redeemed coins have value.
