Despite that the price is below $30k (it even dropped to $25k), I don't think it's a good time to buy yet because the crashing period hasn't calmed down yet. Let's just wait for it to stabilize before we can hit the buy button. I honestly think the $25k to $26k has a huge wall of buy orders in which BTC has rebounded a bit back to almost $30k as of this time of writing. However, there are no promises or guarantees here. There's no perfect timing for us to say that it's a good time to buy. It's going to be in your own instincts because it is you who will make the final decision and take responsibility of the risks.

How do you say so? How did you able to find out? This is something the very most common question to have is that "is this the bottom?"

People had been waiting for the price to dropped and now the price had plummeted which is considerable but still they do freak out and saying that this market is over.

i guess, that's human nature and time and time again, we have seen that kind of approach towards this market. now, that btc is down, they are afraid to buy, whereas, when btc hit ATH, people were regretting that they haven't bought when it was 20k, 30k, or 40k. hey, we are in the 30k level now, what are your plans?
but tbh, i have the feeling that some whales, institutions are secretly buying in this dip. couple of months from now, when btc recovers, they will disclose that they bought during this dip. what is the likelihood that we will hear from them few months from now, eh?
so yeah, in this time of panic and confusion, it is up to you how you will react on this market. you can take advantage or just sit down and observe, and let it go.

The beauty about investing into BTC is its volatility- it is somehow a double-edged sword that the outcome may either make or break your capital in the next following days/weeks/months. Given that the prices of BTC had been crashing (with its worst price since 2016), people are taking advantage of this opportunity to invest and HODL for long-term.

That's the physiology of bitcoin investors. People keep on looking for more cheaper prices when the prices are already cheap and discounted. No one knows how low the bitcoin price can go but buying bitcoin at 30,000$ is indeed a very good price. Even if you do not want to invest everything at this price, it's better to buy some portion of bitcoin at current prices. In case the prices do not dump further, you will be happy that you have accumulated some bitcoins.

What they did is definitely wrong. We know that the market is unpredictable, we can't sure that on the next day prices went down more, it was just in our mind drawing such a possible and impossible situation. And this is the most common reason why many people are in regret, they overly think of what happens next without anticipating the possible change in the current trend.
We never have to ignore the chance, take this opportunity while it is still there, that was my honest take in regards to the current situation. We indeed not going to lose even the price will drop more as long as we don't sell any.

Pardon my intrusion and my question, May I know, how are you new to cryptocurrency if have been a part of the bitcointalk community ever since 2014. Is it safe to assume that you have bought that account?
Anyways, There is no advisable time or date on when you have buy your tokens as most cryptocurrency are volatile and are sometimes directly proportional to other token's price such as what happened with Luna and how it affects other cryptos.
Also, I rather not use Elon Musk buying twitter as an indicator to buy tokens as it does not reflect to any tokens since Twitter doesn't have it's own cryptocurrency.

That's the obvious truth of the matter. Most times, supposed bitcoin or bitcoin investors even have these ideas of the currency and the worst of it is that, it often  comes without any proper analysis. More like a feeling out if sentiment that, the market haven't made its dip yet and so, they continue to wait and wait. The next you notice is a recovery that might be gradual or not and then, they still conceive the idea of a missed opportunity of buying from the dip and yet never gets to buy along as it recovers. A very wrong misconceptions!

There is definitely a market determined dip which is unpredictable but it surely comes around and at a time too. You could only know that was the dip for that period when the surge comes and the bulls have taken power. Following the unpredictable nature of a market dip, its only best for supposed investors to determine there own dip and be prepared to hodl. Else, its going to be a missed opportunity over and over again.

I assume that you cover too short a period of 1 or 2 years. It seems to me that it is better to slightly expand the horizon of expectations to 3-4 years. Then we will definitely see bitcoin price rise. But in general, you are right that it is not necessary to evaluate the value of BTC for such a short time frame as weeks or months.

Now people are confused and can't decide how to act, buy now or wait for the best price. As a result, they don't act at all, waiting for the moment and missing opportunities. It seems to me that can act now: buy bitcoin with some of your cash, leaving some to buy at a lower price if the price does fall to $20,000 or so.

The crypto is a thing what  never goes the same way. In crypto, it is normal that the dip will be different from time to time.  And dip recognition in crypto is a lot like doing Maths in mathematics. If you know the formula then you can do all kinds of maths all the time and on the others hand if you can do dip recognition or market analysis then you can always make profit from all types of dip. There is no permanent dip time & limit.
