Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Don't bother, get a Corsair 850 or 1000 W PSU. They're modular, single rail, usually 80% or higher efficient and just overall reliable.
That thing might blow up on you, especially if you try to overclock the Ants.

NO!!! Single Rail not double!! CORSAIR, I repeat....CORSAIR ONLY to be safe. You spent on Ants, you might as well spend on the power supply.

Even had one that died after a few hours (pretty sure it was a delayed DOA), but none of the hardware attached had any damage. Just for the love of Satoshi don't use some random one off eBay. You may save a few bucks, but you'll be crying when it blows up along with your miner.

Corsair RM 850 is fine for 2 overclocked Ant's
I've been running 2 overclocked ants on a single Corsair RM 850 for a few days now. 2 oc's ants only draw about 400 watts each on a gold-rated psu. I was unsure of overclocking 2 ants on a 850 watt psu before.

Better use 2 PSU... If 1 PSU down for whatever reason, the other still up

I agree about the comment - if you lose one PSU you lose 2 ants, probably get a spare in at some point.

CORSAIR, I repeat....CORSAIR ONLY to be safe.
Many companies sell superior psus to corsair these days, I would take Seasonic, super flower leadex, xfx black (made by seasonic iirc), Fractal Design R3 any day over all but the AX corsair supplies (some of the ax ones are/were made by seasonic ;P)

I didn't want to start a new topic since I had a question so related: I have this power supply, it is brand new. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007WLRJCC/ Will it be fine for powering 2 Antminer S1's without any problems? Its a single rail and 1000w. Its not the most efficient rated PSU, but any other issues? Thanks for any advice!

Rail 1 +12V: 83.3 A
just that simple 60+ amps on 12v rail and you can do 2 overclocked s1's
Less than 60 per rail -- good luck with that....

And make sure the P/S has 4 PCIE cables off that rail, 1 cable to each ant... Not one cable with jumper splice end.

Yes, 100a single rail, you only need 90+a so it is below maxed out and may last awhile if you keep it cool. 8pcie leads is good, that is what we use for quad sli for game dev, however I demand Corsair... XFX would not honor a warranty on a MB that was only a month out of date. EVGA MSI GigaByte ASrock all have had no issues with me usually sending a newer board if the old one I have is no longer available. I will never forget that, and refuse to own XFX because of it. XFX support was impersonal, and could give a damn atti-dude.
