Many of us tends to blame the leaders and everyone around us for how cruel the world is ,we put the blame on others anf fail to realise and see fault that comes from us and how we contribute to the menace, it is easy to point finger and yet we fail to see our own wrong doings,how have you helped others in your own community, your family ,your friend's, how do you treat people,do you take every small opportunity that comes to you to extract money from people.what is your little contribution to people around you, what can they say about you ,will it be positive or negative, do you care to see people succesful around you.

Tho the world is cruel ,what are you doing to make it a better place,are you making people around you comfortable or you making them uncomfortable

Naturally everyone tends to take care of themselves first before looking out others and make their lives better. Nowadays the survival becomes harder so they have no time to care for others than their family members probably in future the condition will become worse and we may only save us from hurdles of life. However we didn't make the life of others we should not make the life of others worse in that sense I don't make anyone's life worse which itself is missing in this profit making world.

It is very easy to blame other and not take responsibility for our actions. It is also very easy to just want them to change for the better. But the thing is the only person we can really change is ourselves.

As for blaming authorities I think it's fair game since they are supposed to do a job. If I own a restaurant and I'm not getting enough customers than maybe I have myself to blame and need to make changes. If however I was doing fine and then now not getting customers coz the road leading to my spot is being dismantled and and is delayed for more than a month, then I think it's right for me to blame them for my loss. Sure I can't do anything about the road and can only change what I can (focus on deliveries rather than dine-in), I could be forgiven for being pissed off.

A leader is another person... one who puts his pants on the same way you do. The difference is that he thinks he knows how to handle your property better than you do. If you agree with him, fine. If you don't agree, get him where it hurts... he is just another person like you.

I agree with you. To change the world, you have to start with yourself and then those closest to you. If the people closest to you are not good, how can you change the world for the better.

For me I take care of my family first and then the society in which I live, personally I try to help people as much as possible with the money I have, reforming society starts from reforming the person himself first, if everyone tries to make himself good we will definitely get a good society, unfortunately some people see The mistakes of others and they ask them to fix themselves, but they never see their mistakes and this is one of the biggest diseases in society because they do nothing but blame people and do nothing useful to society.

Well said. The process of change starts when we make our selves better human being who is kind, cooperative, compassionate and helps those who really need support to make their lives better. The world is passing through very difficult times due to regional conflicts, wars and COVID-19 pandemic which has created economic crisis world wide, we need to raise our voice and press upon our Political leaderships to do something to address these issues to reduce  the difficulties people are facing to survive.

So truly said OP, change begins with you and I. What we do ourselves affects the public and the nation as a whole. We first need to change our mentality and how we react and response to certain circumstances because whatever we do has adverse effect on the whole world starting from our home nation. I totally agree with you on that. For anybody to succeed at this task, you need to have a positive mindset, try to ensure you are not living pretentiously and being judgemental all the time, be a solution bringer too. It is also important to follow peace with as many as we come in contact with and try to be law abiding even when the people we find ourselves around are not. Because most times, if you want change, you have to be the change you seek.

Well, I agree but in reality do you think how difficult is that to practice?

Imagine yourself as an honest employee of your company so you do everything perfect but you will be ignored all the time because someone is using the shortcuts to get all of them.

Imagine you want to be honest while standing in the queue due to social distancing, people just come and join infront of you? You will still be that good or choose to live how others are living?

we all have a part to play in how we treat those close to us. but with that said, we are restricted by the laws of the land we lay our head on.

in many restricted countries. just trying to get a passport is not as easy as signing a form and posting it off with a photo. so in those countries where it tougher, they cannot just escape and move to another country.

EG England has been more welcoming to Ukrainians with passports compared to syrians without passports. even when both countries had to leave due to war.

its not about apathy, empathy or sympathy. its about politics.
england will turn away undocumented immigrants even if their lives are at risk on the open sea between calais/dover.. yet those with a passport get a train/flight into england funded by UK government.

I as a british person can go to america without even a second look and just stay..
but a mexican without a passport cant just get on a plane the way i can. and cannot just walk around like a tourist, freely.

That's sure, just think about it if everyone can try their best to work on themselves,  the world would be the best place that everyone would want to live forever.  One thing I have noticed about life is that everyone can't be perfect,  we all have one bad character but some people still claims to be perfect and they look down on ther people weakness.

The world has never belonged to one man, its collectively owned and ought to be collectively taken care of off. Most times, we see the bad around us, the evil been done in our environment and somehow we entertain fears while waiting on others to summon courage and fight the operation or solve the rising problems. We tend to forget how mortal we all are and that the other party might be needing motivation  too.
