Hello good people,

I used to quite a bit in the early days of Bitcoin and there is a question that has been bothering me for a while.
Do any of remember the first pool that allowed you to mine bitcoin and namecoin at the same time?

I remember you were able to merge mine both coins during a certain period, but for the life of me I can't remember the process or the pool.
This would be during the days GPU mining just started.

If any of you remember this please let me know, it has been annoying me for a while.

Cheers and I hope you all have a great end of your week.

Multipool or Slush I reckon

Mine @ pools that pay Tx fees & don't mine empty blocks :: kanopool :: ckpool ::
Should bitmain create LPM for all models?

I think it was Multipool, not 100% sure but close.

Thanks man, that was really bothering me.

If anyone knows of other pools that did the merged mining thing back than please comment below.

How about btccan.com it was mentioned here around that year but the problem is they are no longer active and the website seems expired it shows only Chinese text when accessing the website.

Why not check other pools listed from this link below

Ah, the good old days when you could mine and not worry that much about the noise.
Here are a couple that I remember from back in 2011.

BTCGuild was late 2011 so that was also a possibility: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=49417.0
Eligius was mid 2011: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=23768.0

There were a bunch more back then that had NMC. Many came and went quickly.

If I remember correctly it was possible on many pool since if you solved a BTC block you would automatically be able to submit the same block to the other network, since it would run on a cloned chain on the identical block number (?) and the same algorithm. Multipool it was possible 100%.
