I still can't really hit anything - everybody is playing with B or C lineups and in weird formations. Still, at least I'm tracking the results and watching an occasional game - otherwise I'd fully skip this.

It's probably safe to assume that the coaches are trying out other possible tweaks ahead of the World Cup. I know it's still way to too early for that, but it sure looks like a the best opportunity to make a few trial and errors without any consequences or backlash from the fans.

I don't really know why Wales/Ukraine are playing today, they had a qualifier a few days ago. I think Wales might get hammered by Netherlands.

I don't think it's weird since it's still the same amount of games other countries have played within the same timeframe, just that the importance of the games are significantly different.
I have the Netherlands to win but it wouldn't be surprising if that doesn't happen, as that as been the case with me so far in this competition.

Anyway. I wanted to wait till after the game tonight to mention my hedge against the shitty Hungary double chance win, and if Netherlands again pulls it off, I will have my first winning ticket since... 3 weeks? Amazing huh, even will get insurance if I lose.

But see, needed all the AFCON games plus World Cup to get it right, Italy really only scraped through.

If NL scores first and I happen to be online, you bet I'm hedging with a Welsh handicap!

too bad superbru didn't add League B or League C because almost all the favorites in those leagues (Turkey, Finland, Serbia, Norway, etc) are winning their games. Understandable since those teams take the Nations League way more seriously because of the Euro 2024

It seems like I won't be able to predict the exact score of the Wales - Netherlands game now as the first half has ended up with a 0-0 tie.    However, I still have a chance for the Belgium - Poland game as the current score is 1-1 now. I'm just begging Belgium to win this game by 2-1, haha. Its probability is not low though but it's still very hard to predict the games of this kind of big teams.

After Poland to the lead, I said "shit, here we go, again", but it was a complete turnaround, I wonder what the odds for Belgium would have been around the 40th minute into the game.

did not saw six pieces in Poland net, but Belgium was a favorite to win, obviously

Wales and Netherlands played interesting few minutes overtime, and brought all goal bets to life, from over 2.5 to both-to-score, otherwise pretty boring match
will push for more unexpected results in following rounds, so far really bad pool results for me

Watched the Belgium game and they really turned the heat on Poland after minute 30. It was just a matter of how many goals they will score but beginning was quite bad for them. When Hazard missed that 100% chance and then they conceded I was already thinking here we go again

Damn, Belgium, from being destroyed by Netherlands 1:4 just few days ago, now they they completely destroyed Poland 6:1.Poland scored first, despite that Belgium played better. But what was going on in 2nd half, Belgium completely dominated. Though, I think that 6:1 is probably too big score. And it's one of the most disgraceful defeats in Poland history.

I wanted to place a 5-1 prediction for Belgium in the first thinking but then I changed to a more realistic one to the 3-1 which I thought it was going to be the case but in 17 minutes Belgium scored another 3 goals,impressive.I knew that when they would play fully focused with De Bryne and company there is no team stopping them and yesterday this was just the case.The pool is becoming interesting with a lot of people from 3rd to down positions being divided by only a couple of points,today difficult games ahead but I think both Portugal and Spain should win.

Yeah happy days for me too! Finally, bagged my first big win in a long long time. Even had time to make a hedge on Wales at 4.3 when NL led... so you can imagine my disappointment at the 92nd min equaliser. Nice to hear it also turned out for you Trofo!

When I wrote my question, I counted on the fact that I would join, but today my plans have changed significantly and there is even less free time. for me, Spain is a draw, would not put a bet on that, but Swiss is actually pretty hard to be beaten, and they already scored two loses in competition, third would be a surprise for me
nevertheless, Portugal on handicap is on my ticket, combined with Kyrgios from 0:1 to win (it is an off-topic, but this could actually be his Wimbledon, looking at his form on grass, he just needs consistency)

I also think that it is time for Spain to win a match. @LuckyGuy, I won't hinder you today but I will reconsider this decision if you continue to open the gap more. @icopress, I'm also going to be in those pools absolutely. I hope that everyone in the pool can have a lot of fun next season and all the people on the forum can make good amount of money thanks to bets.



edit: Today, both of two representatives of Iber Peninsula managed to win. For the last two days, favourite teams started to win their matches in the UEFA Nations League. Tomorrow, I think that France are going to win against Austria. I don't have any idea about what can happen in the Denmark-Croatia match. Whatever happens in that match, I wouldn't be surprised about it.

I managed another good result tonight with a correct score for Portugal and a close one for Spain,4.5 points out of two games I consider this a very good results.On another note we see the favorites winning games in these last two days reinstating in me and I believe many others the belief that finally the teams are starting to play like they should and favorites winning,giving us good returns for our bets.

Austria vs France tomorrow should be finally a win for France and in the game between Denmark vs Croatia it should be a Denmark double chance win or draw but a win from Croatia would not surprise me at all.

That Sarabia goal for Spain looked like it was offside, no? The commentators on the stream that i was watching thought it was offside, fans in the stands after being shown the replay were pissed for sure. Looks offside from the stop-frame, the line is drawn to Sarabia's foot which appears to be ahead of the ball, maybe it's inconclusive idk...:



Offside or not that's three points for Spain, i thought they played a lot better vs. the Czechs in their previous match and deserved to win. The high defense line though almost cost them this match as well but Seferovic/Embolo couldn't figure out how to score into an empty net in the final minutes.
