It's still remain a prediction for bitcoin to go to the 25k. So many people have been calling this rate at the end of last month but it's still remain side way around 29k - 30k. buying any major coins with very big potential may give guarantee if that will give profit for the next years from now.
I have planned to accumulate more during the bearish trend. I do belive market will not bearish forever.

I think we are not at the bottom of a bear market, I would wait a little longer with a new entry into the majority of altcoins. they have weaker resistance than Bitcoin and I believe they will go even lower. Should also be very careful (based on experience from the previous bear) many very promising altcoins have never recovered.

With altcoins you never know what to expect, personally i do not think Bitcoin is prolly going below 25k, not that it matters too much if it does, because if it actually goes below that amount then you have the opportunity to accumulate Bitcoin at a cheaper price than normal. To answer your question, i am only building my portfolio with Bitcoins for now, i do not really trust altcoins as long term projects, and i am a long term investor, thus Bitcoin is the most suitable project for me right now. If you want to speculate with altcoins you must be very careful, a lot could go wrong very quickly. No matter what you do, do not hodl altcoins for the long period, sell them in the short term and take the profit you can get, altcoins are short term projects and most of them are not sustainable for the long period.

For me anytime is a good time to buy but this bear time I think is the perfect time to buy altcoins. At the moment my eyes are locked in Ethereum and BNB only and I am sure that there ATH is not the highest they will achieve it though in reality we are really not sure when is the right time, so every lower lows or pullbacks, I always buy ETH and BNB.

Bitcoin. Since it's not going that low ($25,000) for the past few weeks you may want to consider that it may not. Buy now or be left and have regrets, besides, it is still going up no matter what. But that's another case and my own opinion.

I think there's a good chance Bitcoin will be at $25k in the coming weeks due to the ongoing bear market cycle, so to build a portfolio it's a good idea to start now as the price is on its low.

Now is a good time to buy. Look at the new projects that were released in 2021 and gathered a large community, they are 90-98% cheaper than their ATH. What's not a reason to buy, good prices, sometimes even lower than ICO\IDO prices. If it drops even lower, that's okay, buy some more. Just do not try to find the absolute bottom and buy everything with one order, it will not work, unless by lucky chance. From "Bitcoin History Bullish & Bearish" according to price history each time bitcoin reach all-time high the bearish will come around 75-85% down from ATH price. If we following that history, I'm going to entering crypto or bitcoin at the time bitcoin price reached 12,000-15,000$.

Then, will hold until next halving (Good scenario 20x from the all-time low) so bitcoin reached around more than 250,000$.

The right time to buy is when you are ready with all the buying decisions themselves. No one knows for sure if the bulls are done and facing bear season or indeed we are being prepared for more significant changes. We're already in and not starting over. If in this session Bitcoin has been under $25K then anyone will take big profits in the future.

This is what I was worried about, so as you said waiting longer was a choice I also made. Don't want to rush into positioning just because the drop doesn't look too deep. Maybe the 75-85% decline pattern from the historical lows of ATH can be used as a reference for a new portfolio sheet in long-term investment, but waiting for the lowest decline is not guaranteed to be achieved at prices lower than 75% of ATH, note from recent historical low of only 25k and stable the recovery area is vulnerable to 29-30k, so it's difficult to break below 20k and may have to wait patiently for the next bear market.

You can start to analyze what altcoins to buy besides buying more BTC. But 'when is the best time to buy?' I am not really sure to answer it. However, in my opinion, buying now seems too early. We need to wait for BTC to drop below $25k to start buying BTC and some altcoins. For altcoins, I plan to buy top altcoins only such as BNB, ETH, ADA, SOL, DOT, AVAX, MATIC, LINK, HBAR, SAND, XLM, or TRX.

regardless current time is the right time for making an entry in your investment and also making an accumulation, most of the altcoins are already down more than 50% in value,I think that kind of massive discount is enough if you gonna make an entry with your investment and making a long term holding.
