Definitely yes,it is possible to forget about gambling and focus on other things that will give you money.What I see about gambling is when one is jobless,and he decides to try other means of making money,gambling might tend to him as the surest way to make quick money,and therefore,he will choose to try  gambling,but before he knows it,it has become his habbit.
But one can still leave gambling and forget about it change is constant,and the moment one takes a strong decision on gambling,and decides not to try it again,it is possible to make it a thing of the past.But this has to be a decision that you will never go back on.

What happens is that with gambling you can make money fast and it would be a solution, but I see this as a piece of water, 'because the person in his emergency will want to have all the luck in the world and maybe he will be given and win, but I think that on another occasion if you are looking for the same thing it is more difficult for you to achieve it, since you are already conditioned and it is a huge mistake to see a casino as the best option to put everything there, in money and energy. I know several cases of friends who have gone to physical casinos to play with the intention of seeing it as an ATM and most of the time they return with more losses, they even lose more than normal.

That is the result of playing gambling too often and constantly losing. They can't accept their loss and will continue to use more money to recover from their losses. We must change their mindset immediately if we have experienced several defeats before everything changes and causes us to experience very large losses. And if anyone is in debt for gambling, they must immediately realize what they are doing is not right and end it immediately.

I appreciate this idea, but creating such global self-exclusion system would be close to impossible.
Hundreds of online casinos would refuse to join such self-exclusion system, because they want to milk their players, who are addicted to gambling. This might seem cynical, but I understand them from a business perspective.
There must be some kind of incentive for the casino owners to join the system. I don't know what will incentivize them to do so.

Thats true. It depends on the level of addiction and the willingness to finally stop what they used to. Sometimes it cant be done without the help of other people because a gambler who have this problem needs a strong support to overcome the addiction. Anyway, if there's a self exclusion tool in every casino, it can help the gamblers (who are willing to change for good) to finally stop their gambling habit because this program can prevented them from coming back. Finding a better paying job might not only gambling problem but it will solve half of everyone problem, but to expect that everyone can get a decent salary is a little bit utopic. And most of the people who has gambling problem is the one who was unable to get a good job in the first place, often because they lack of skills and they can't get any opportunity. So, I think the more possible to left gambling is just to move to another place where you can start a new life, meet new people that does not do gambling and even to the extreme measure, moving to a place where gambling is completely illegal and banned.

In my opinion, if a person who has a gambling addiction wants to overcome it, he needs to completely limit himself from gambling. Yes, moving to a new place of residence is a good option to solve this problem, but not everyone has the money and desire to do it. It seems to me that you can just limit your social circle and find a hobby that can replace gambling.
