Well people did already mention the source and at the same time I think the article was self explanatory, poker essentially is becoming more and more famous online because in my stead I think it combines the traditional poker with the new Digital market which again is something that is very important for any kind of game and this is something that is enjoyed by both old people and young adults.

From my understanding, poker is a game of skill, though it still require some level of luck to win, but focusing on the skill part, i think this could be one of the reasons why it seems like not very many people pay attention to poker mostly in online casinos, i myself for example gamble most times, but ive never looked the poker way because i dont have any knowledge or the skill required to stand a chance of winning, and i believe it could be this same story for several others out there.

There is no way online casinos will focus on a game not too many people pay attention to or know hoe to play, running a casino is like someone doing a business, the product which your customers demand for more is the product you buy more of so you dont run out of it, casinos pay more attention to games their customers and potential customers want to spend their money on playing, maybe if more people begin to find playing online poker more interesting than the other classic games, then casinos will begin giving poker a much more attention.

Poker is far from the hottest crypto game, sad but true! I played in many places, and we even had some tries with Bitcointalk poker games, but sooner or later people just stop playing... there are not enough people in crypto who are serious about poker! It's how I see it!

OP doesn't specify what study he refers to and where such data comes from. According to the article linked by yahoo, there are approximately 120 million online poker players worldwide. That is actually ten times less than the 1.3 billion mentioned by the OP, and that is a much more realistic figure in my opinion.

^ Based on my understanding, this gamefi most likely for the game feature that has play-to-earn games which is I don't think will suit to a poker game.
There should be a way of earning through the game or boosting their earning through leveling their account or if there is a character that has a stage progress through playing by other users. So how does this work on Poker?
Axie infinity considering gamefi game which I think they have also a game that well-entertaioned players.

I agree, it's not the best time to have that idea since the market is tanking and you look at the other p2e games and you'll see them down like 99% of their total value from their ATH.

Also, I don't think that there's any need for poker to have it as gamefi. It's good as the normal poker game that we have right now, whether it's on fiat poker tables and online and as well as with crypto.

The downloads are a guide,  gross total, but the players online are really very few and from experience I would say that the daily, weekly, monthly traffic entering all the Fiat and crypto poker casinos, is really the number that interests any player.

So, player traffic certain cash tables is vital and if you want to win sometimes you must look in the 24 hour range where the profit of bb/100 is more profitable for your game, the point is that if a casino "x" it has 1billion registered players it doesn't help me much, it helps me how many players are connected at certain times, so traffic it so is really  important data.

That there are 1 billion players...ok, let me know of an acceptable traffic and in what place, but in reality the players who play real money are very few in relation to those numbers that you mention.

I am afraid these statistics do not represent the true proportion of how many people actually gamble.
In many countries, gambling is completely forbidden and in others it is simply not possible.
These 26% may also include people who simply buy lottery tickets, which, depending on the regulator, is considered a gamble or not.
I think these statistics are simply untrue, or at least very inaccurate.

Gamefi is that p2e kind of stuff right? I'm pretty sure NFT's have been integrated into some casinos so that it gives gamblers some sort of Rakeback or advantages, rollbit has it afaik and there are probably a few more out there that have it. There's also been an NFT slots idea iirc? Outside of that, I don't think you can turn Gamefi anymore without breaking the luck factor involved. It also doesn't really suit the model of gambling imo, not unless casinos are able to create a new game outside of the usual ones we have.

On a side note, download count only says one side of the story, maybe add daily user count if possible?
