I don't care too much about technical analysis, but to be honest about the support levels I've heard, prices below current value don't freak me out. Although there are many disappointments, it is my own making for myself. I think I missed the opportunity to sell them for a better profit, but anyway, I am very grateful for what BTC as well as the crypto market brought to me.
And now that the support levels are gradually being broken, I think it is also necessary to rebuild the strategy to buy them back and hold them for the next 2-3 years.

Bitcoin didn't disappoint me at all despite the current price drop, because I perceive bitcoin not just as a speculative instrument, but as an instrument of freedom and independence from the traditional banking system. In this regard, from the moment of its appearance and existence to the present day, from the moment I learned about bitcoin, I had no reason to doubt the capabilities of bitcoin and be disappointed. Any price is a temporary phenomenon and you should not dwell on it. Look at the cost counter less often and you will have less worries.

Bitcoin have dipped in the past months, firstly at the beginning of the year, technical analysis experts predicted that Bitcoin will make a bullish run to $100k this year, but reverse was the case. Bitcoin is major reason behind the countless number of crash in the Crypto markets. Bitcoin is currently at $20k and some Investors are losing money while others are gaining massive Profits. Crypto as they say, it's not for the weak, investors need to build patience and be able to face their lose. I mean, why you will be disappointed with Bitcoin? Is it because it went down from as high as $69,000 to now around $19,000 in just a matter of months? Let's be sincere there's nothing about disappointment in bitcoin with all honesty, what makes many resulted to make such claim on it is because of their countless amd series of errors made through one thing or the bicoin while dealing with bitcoin, why should i got dissapointed when knowing fully that the mistake is coming from my own end, this is one of the reason one must understand the time to come in, sell or buy and the time to hold due to specific reasons, over the years we can see the moves in price has nothing to do with the value and reputation it has.

Definitely not. The current correction gives another opportunity to get another profit on buying low and selling on the new ATH. I have a lot of friend that is waiting for this perfect opportunity to finally purchased there first Bitcoin since I didn’t suggest to them to FOMO buy when price is above 40K level and wait for the price to hit the old support for the confirmation of new cycle.

I say we are in the middle of the bear market.  I think this one will take a bit longer due to economical and geopolitical issues mixed with what could become the next declared public health issue by the next week.  Remember we are in the middle of hyperinflation.  Bitcoin might be extremely volatile right now.

Bitcoins have disappointed a bit.
But you need think from everyone’s perspective.
The ones who wanted to get into Bitcoin eco system, finally found the best price to get in.
So for them it’s like a SALE and not a disappointment.
My only advice to all the traders is to not sell the coins and don’t panic by seeing the price.
Once the bear market gets over, Bitcoins will start again rising.
Just keep patience and believe on Bitcoins.

Witnessing the price trend of Bitcoin in since 2014, I am not surprised that the price plummet from $69k to the current price of sub $20k.  It always happens within year after the bull market or 2 years after the halving.

We are still in a bear market and I think that the bear market will continue until next year. Probably the market will start to recover  a year before the halving or after 2nd quarter of 2023.

In question, if BTC disappoints, I say no.  It still does what it intends to do, the transaction fee is even lower than before.  And when it comes to price, it doesn't disappoint that the entry point is always during the Bitcoin bear market because it really gives us a huge discount.

Not really. Although I am at a loss after buying it at a price of $21k, I still don't mind at all. The first buy that I have was last May around $30k+ and yes it sucks to lose big like this. But it doesn't change my long-term goals for Bitcoin as I really wanted to accumulate as much as I can until we can finally recover and begin the bull run season hopefully.

I mean I experienced way worse in my early days, especially the dip when covid started which basically made me lose a LOT since I just exited the market rather dumbly in the middle of the drop-off. This is turning into a bit of a vicious cycle, where the more selling that takes place the more people lose trust in the longer term future of Bitcoin and decide to sell off even further. However it is going to shake out a lot of people who claimed to be wanting to hold it forever, when in actual fact they just hoped it would double or triple from their buy in point so they could sell it off and profit. Bitcoin never disappointed me, because it was always just a mechanism of payment and it was a bad idea to keep actual currency stored within it. A lot of people who could have been millionaires, but retained trust as it keeps on dropping, are going to have big regrets later on - but they were kinda driven by greed when they should have cashed out long ago.

Maybe we are at the middle of the bear cycle yet. I don't think it will be possible to exit this weak season by the end of 2022. Usually after an ATH, there has been a correction but the duration of it would have differed. Since we had two ATH last year, current correction seems to be prolonging too long. None can assure of when the bear market will stop and when the bull market will resume. But yes, this is the right time to buy not only Bitcoin but other best crypto currencies as well. Whales are another big reason for current situation and when they have piled the coins, would start with a little pump followed by a huge one. Panic sellers are manipulated now.

I don't really care at all whatever the market condition would be and if we are on bear side then its better to see things to be an opportunity for you to get in and accumulate because it is really just a right move to be made if ever you could risk it out on making such step.Chances like this doesn't really come often which means that it is wise to be greedy when everything in the market is on deep reds but of course invest only on the amount which you can afford to lose.

I am not disappointed, however I will be honest and say I did not really expected for the price to go lower than the previous all time high but it is understandable something like this happened.

Right now the economy is not doing well and there are many signs that point out it could get even worse, and when we consider the governments, private sector and the average person are all heavily indebted then there is not a lot of room to maneuver, which means that if yet another important event were to appear then there will not be a lot of ways to deal with it, and with this in mind it makes sense we are seeing a strong reduction in the price of bitcoin, even if I believe this is only a temporary drop and its price will eventually recover.

Never. Actually, this low is expected, we can't see a bull market year after year continuously, the financial system doesn't work like this.

we bought, we hold and we sold when we are in profit, if you failed to sell then why be disappointed? you must have to invest that much money which you can afford to lose.

I wouldn't expect it to go down slower than that, but we're talking about 20-60k. Dropping that fast below 20k is a bit disappointing.

Bear markets don't scare me but they always make me lose interest. Last time we were in that state there was so much panic in the media that I took a break for a few months from all of it, even from the forum. It's just the way people are. They were buying bitcoin for 50 and 60k and now are selling it at a loss for a fraction of the fiat money.
It's not bitcoin's fault at all, it's in our nature to be destructive and counterproductive.

^ I know and I understand how BTC will work because I am a BTC enthusiast. So I understand that this bear market will not become temporary in the market, everything will pass and there should be a bull market when it will resist. Understand how volatile market will work and you will never get disappointed, instead, you have given a chance to invest more when bear market where come and I think we already hit the bottom price. In around seven months time the market have reached the new ath and have come down to $19000. This is the riskier part of cryptocurrency. As said who would've thought the market to be this volatile. Everything is a cyclic process and we're into the next halving by the year 2024, maybe until then we can experience slower growth. Because connective to the halving there used to be big price prediction. So, reaching a higher price from the higher point is hard than reaching high from a low point.

BEAR MARKET BOTTOM not even close to being near...   The Federal Reserve is raising interest rates, and doing quantitative tightening, so the FED is not here to save Bitcoin like it did in March 2020

No and I do not think that BTC will further disappoint me despite its price crashing down the market.

These are high-risk investments that are inflationary by nature- meaning there is a scarcity in its total supply in the market. With this kind of information, you could expect that its price would increase somehow in the near future despite it crashing today. This is also the reason on some always see the good in the bad- purchase more in the process and invest them for long-term.

The answer is nothing so the answer to your question is also no. Those people who thought they could become rich overnight by buying a small amount of bitcoin are disappointed these days. The rest of us are actually happy because we are getting a huge discount and that means we can buy more bitcoin or receive more bitcoin as payment.

For example when I started I sold something for about $200 and received almost a whole bitcoin! That was in a dip very similar to this one. I'm trying to sell some stuff for bitcoin again or for fiat and then buy bitcoin with it because I want to take maximum advantage of this discount.

Who would have thought that the Bitcoins price will come from $0.09 in 2010 to as high as $69k+ in a space of about 11 years? which other investment around would have given you that much profit over the same period of time? No wonder Bitcoin has so many funerals because fewer people Believe that Bitcoin can come back even after all these years of proving them wrong.
Even if the bottom is reached or near, don't believe that we are just going to be on a V-shape recovery, it might take some more months/years of the accumulation stage

I think this happen is natural in crypto industry . If you see the history of btc you can't be disappointed. So this point  of view I didn't disappointed on btc. Let's see this post:

I am disappointed  that it so closely tracked the stock market down. I really wanted something that is independent of them. Without any knowledge I suspect the same people that invest in BTC are also in the markets. So when they pull out it's across the board, I don't know.

Going DCA back in after selling at the high, had to cash out for an unfortunate event and got lucky, not skill. Also in the future going to shave my profits down to my original input and diversify. If it goes below that just hold or DCA back up and wait. I'm guilty of trading on emotions and need to make a personal policy going forward.

Personally I'm not disappointed, having given up 75% of my Bitcoin holdings at a pretty high point. It was kind of luck and I really didn't use any analysis or prediction when it turned out that it was now deep and worrying bear season. But there is one thing where my sister is not in a good condition right now, her mental side might be down due to the sharp decline. He told me to buy $30K. No not at all, bitcoin will disappoint me if it doesn't goes above 50k for next 5 years, this is just market cycle and market manipulation and nothing else. $10k or $100k, it doesn't really matter. The tech and adoption are what really count. The price comes later. If you are buying bitcoin to get rich, you are doing it wrong imo. You can get rich by holding bitcoin but that shouldn't be your first goal.

Bitcoin may go to $1k or even below, that doesn't mean bitcoin failed. As long as the network is up, the rest are just noise.

I don’t think we are already at the bottom price of bitcoin since there are no even positive signs that bitcoin is now recovering. As long as the market continues to be bearish, bitcoin will always show signs of price decline which I think adds more opportunity on the people who want to enter the crypto market and invest in bitcoin. So for me, it’s not a disappointment to consider but a big opportunity to invest again.

$10k would bethe most of it and even at that, I'm not entirely sure bitcoin can dump to that price mark. It's been surprising still with the level it has got and even when you think you've seen the most for the bearish market, it creates yet another deep.

If you are old in the market and have seen previous bull and bear markets then you will know that this price action for bitcoin is nothing new. Bitcoin usually fell more than 80% in bear market and this iis not the end. Bitcoin will recover and make new highs in the next bull season.

I haven't had any experience where I am disappointed with bitcoins whether their price or the way how other people look at them but right now I always see some bad comments about the bitcoin's current price in the crypto market because they don't have the opportunity to invest in the time where the price was rising instead they are in this current trial where you need to have enough patience to take every negative news about bitcoins and at the same time ignoring those critics who are more blabbering about their non-sense when bitcoins price is falling as we experience nowadays.

Instead of the constant doom, and gloom we've actually seen a lot of users claiming to accumulate Bitcoin at these discounted rates. There is always a risk, but I see how serious players have entered the crypto market now, and for me this only means that the market will grow after the strongest “eat” the weaker ones, these are the laws of the market. This is the reality. If we come across more real-time usage of blockchain technology, people will have better understanding about the core of the technology than the numbers carrying value. Unfortunately yes we are in the bear market now. The drop of Bitcoins from 30,000 USD to below 18,000 USD happened very fast and came as a surprise to me. Somehow I hoped that there was more support for the bitcoin price. The recent drop created a lot of panic in the market and forced some people to sell without thinking much. I believe that some investors are now waking up and seeing that Bitcoin didn't drop down to 10,000 USD and feel bad about selling. Hopefully the worst is over now and we are not seeing further declines. Personally I am not disappointed by crypto currencies. If you are old bitcoin trader and the investor then you should not be disappointed by the current market prices and price movements. Bitcoin usually has this history to dump beyond expectations / retail thinking and also pump big.

I don't bother myself with issues that I know isn't beneficial but for Bitcoin, it's the super moon. Irrespective of the current bear market, Many  have benefitted big time for the Bitcoin market while some have had series of unfortunate losses. I share the same sentiments with you, mate. Knowing the nature of bitcoin which is naturally volatile, it is normal that we experience minor and major fluctuations. This is due to the market movement and at the same time, due to external factors such as big events or personalities that have an influence over the market trend. In addition, there are kinds of market season in which we have to be aware of so that we won't be easily shaken or disappointed.

Right now, we are still in a bearish market. This happens once in a while and is a great opportunity to buy the lower price points if you have the means. Bitcoin has never let me down so far and I have been involved in this space for over 5 years so far. In the long term, bitcoin is much more profitable for me than other physical assets like gold, but of course I have to ignore price fluctuations. It is true that we are currently on a different cycle as the downturn has reduced some of my asset estimates, has fallen by as much as 70% of what it should have been. Lol

I expect Bitcoin to drop by more than $19k, I don't expect today to be the lowest point for Bitcoin this year, as you said $10k is a big hope for me.

I don't think that the price of BTC has already reached its bottom and in the future the price of BTC will go down. I assume that at the end of 2021, the next cycle in the crypto market ended and now a new cycle has begun, which is equal to four years. If this is true, then an even deeper drop in the BTC price is ahead of us, but there will also be a slight increase. In simple words, the price of BTC will be volatile, but will generally tend to decrease. But as for the new growth and the flight to the moon, I think that it will coincide with the end of the problems in the world, which have now taken on an acute form. Nope not really. I am doing the traditional old school dollar-cost averaging (DCA) type of investment in which I disregard the current price of Bitcoin and its movement whether if bearish, bullish or treading waterish. I didn’t bought Bitcoin at the top. I was actually waiting for it to go somewhere $20k to $30k before calling it to buy every month.

This is such a great approach and I feel the same way without a doubt. I have been in crypto for many years now and yes I could have made a lot more money if I sold at the peak instead of keeping it and buying even more at the lower prices. This is true, you can't be feeling "disappointed" against a certain coin, or a market. I mean it will go up and down and that's it, that's what the markets do. If you are incapable of doing that then I do not know what to tell you.

The best thing you could do right now would be patient and if you do not use your emotions and just be happy with yourself, then you will be fine. Just ignore crypto for now, go do something else, get a hobby, watch tv, read a book, paint something. I can't just predict bitcoin because I don't expect the dump to be as much as it become during this market. Because there have been a lot of support for Bitcoin. But I hope the bear market ends soon. Truly, I'm disappointed.

I believe bitcoin will not go down below this current price level. Base on your toptical question. It is only newbies on bitcoin will be disappointed because their aim on joining bitcoin space might probably to make profit which is against the motive of bitcoin. For now bitcoin is in a 4 year cycle, where we can see the journey of bitcoin experiencing a decline in price, this cycle is almost the same as in 2017 where bitcoin began to strengthen until the achievement of new ATH until 2021.

But after the achievement of ATH, bitcoin is back in the correction cycle as it is now, in 2022 bitcoin is back at the stage of an endless correction, meaning that the correction has not been in the recovery stage until now, now we are in a bear market that is not sure when it will end, but I believe this will end until the stage of complete recovery

Of course the market will have its own trend, where later the reversal will occur. Like this time where the market experiences the bearish season, and all we have to do is react to it by looking for opportunities, and of course the opportunity to buy. If you feel that you have disappointment for everything then maybe you have a mental condition already. 1. You had been scammed
2. You do see your bitcoin investment had plummets
3. Your wallet get hacked

In overall, if you do able to see out its actual utility and opportunity that it gives then you would definitely see the opposite thing.

Bitcoin has reached the highest stage in that year, until 2021 bitcoin is one of the most valuable cryptocurrencies, but in 2022 bitcoin is back in the correction phase, where until now the correction phase has not found a gradual recovery, then the possibility of bitcoin being at this stage is still continues, or it could be that a bear market is imminent.

This cycle will still be at the point of correction, even if there is a sustained recovery it will only be at a low price, but it is uncertain until what month of the year, considering the market has shifted slightly to a green stage.

This is the stark difference between a real investor and a failed investor. Why be disappointed when bitcoin drops in price when we all know bitcoin falls and then rises and falls again, this is simply bitcoin's cycle and how bitcoin works.

No one knows on when this bear market would end because even indicators do tell that it is nearly the end but it wont give out assurance because technicals or even fundamentals couldnt really able to
tell if bear market would be ending and we would be seeing some bull.Same goes on what you had mentioned that the only thing that disappoints me is on the time i had missed out on accumulating
lots of coins in the past where i could easily get 1 btc but now its really hard to make 1 and if i do remember those days then it do really annoys and disappoints me.
