Calling the bottom is as equal as calling the top, extremely difficult! That's why I'm a fan of DCA'ing. Understand when the market is overly bullish or bearish and DCA in and out accordingly. It takes patience but it's the easiest way to win without breaking your head trying to out move the rest of the traders and whales. This is a game so play to win.

I'm personally just DCA'ing since market is in a down trend and stopped doing short term trades until the market goes into a macro uptrend. Only short term trades i've been doing is Arbitrage. Doesnt matter if it top/peak or bottom price and its true which calling those and decide is the hardest thing to be done.IF we are waiting for the bottom then how long we would really be waiting?
Would you follow and wait up according on what people been saying about 10k drop price or would really be placing yourself with 20k+ price? This is where analysis and knowledge would
really be work out and would differ on each person because we do have different inputs on different conditions and made out decisions according to things that we've been seeing.
So outcome could really be different to each other but if you are going for long term then you wont really care at all.

It is indeed necessary to have sufficient funds during a situation like this where it is time to continue buying, but it is too risky to buy and hold coins that are not at the best rank, because speculation with new coins will obviously be full of risks that we cannot know in the future.

Greed could surely lead into more losses so it will be better if we'll set a realistic target goal and stop when we have reached it. Expecting too much might knly disappoint us in the end. it is true that the right time is to buy when the price of crypto has indeed fallen to the lowest point, even though the lowest price will arise many perceptions that occur when it is said to be the lowest price, because the value is very volatile and cannot be determined with certainty, what is the actual lowest value of a token that is we will buy it, so we can invest in it.

Looking back at it now, it looks like it worked out for you since the price is floating around the 23/24k range atm, so you're looking at 20+ percent ish profit Not Bad!

You will have to put a stop loss if you're in this for the long run tho, a stop loss at the 22k resistance will be good imo.

Don't forget that there's something called "chasing price". There are people who love to indulge such. They wait for price rise to kick in because they're looking at rising trade volume to assure themselves that such crypto has started gaining momentum for them to come in. Only shrewd investors want to buy in when volume is low and market is relatively sleeping.  Those chasing price forget one of the Warren Buffett's principles of investment – buy when others are scared and sell when they're greedy.

accumulate investment assets gradually I think is a much better choice.
buy some when the market is in a downtrend. and save some to be ready to buy again when the market returns to the downside. so we can have a better average asset. wait until the decline is over and just buy I guess it will be difficult. because the market keeps moving and we won't know how the price hit bottom.

And the price of Bitcoin is currently at $24k, which simply means you have just made an 24% increase of your invested capital, which means had it been the amount invested was $100, by now you should be having $124, which is actually a good profit. Actually, it depends on how you will see the investment if you want to buy for the long term i guess no matter what happens when the market dumps sure you will make a buy position because you grab the opportunity and take profit at the end of holding for years or months but if you want to make an earning you can make a position and need to execute with the use of the Technical analysis so you can make a proper execution when to buy.
