What if you buy at high? I don't think you lowered your risk that way but there is a chance that you can earn for a short term, and it was when the price rise and you sell it but that's better than extending your hodling time since you only bought at high already and the price are now preparing to dump again. Each of us are different. Some defines buying opportunity when the price dips while some its when they have cash on hand.
