Yeah but when they will commence? I think its too long now since they are start building. I am more preferably on avalanche or fantom itself as the next ethereum since they are really achieving some lapses on eth network. Might be not perfect but compared to scalability its more of arvance than eth I guess.

In my opinion, you should not be afraid to look for something new, and perhaps through a search and in-depth analysis of the project, you can find a new Ethereum competitor. Now the main competitors of Ethereum in my opinion are Polkadot, Avalanche, Solana, Tron, Tezos and Cosmos. There is a chance that the real “Ethereum killer” has not even been invented yet.

Well, ethereum is a network tokens and ofcourse the best way to make profits in the bearish or bullish period is to invest in network tokens. Ofcourse there are bad / failed projects that does not discredit the majority that has succeed, the binance smart chain, the polygon chain, the avalanche, fantom and cronos chain. Trust me, the network tokens are one that you want to invest into. And mind you, they all emulate ETH

Well i only partly agree with your advice here. In the end Ethereum was the first blockchain ecosystem that brought the smart contract functionality to the crypto space and that changed pretty much everything. Without smart contracts we would not have real DEX's like Uniswap or Pancakeswap, we would not be able to yield farm or stake or assets in single asset staking pools or to provide liquidity for pools. Without smart contracts there would be no Defi which is the biggest selling point for cryptos at the moment.
Blockchains like the Binance Smart Chain for example or almost 1 to 1 copies of Ethereum with the little (but important) difference that the fees on BSC are way lower than on Ethereum at the moment.

This applies for all kind of projects to be honest. Since one trending project, generate hundreds that are coping it in attempt to success. Sometimes there are projects which expand the idea on the next level which actually worth attention and admires (providing more utilities and bigger specter of development)
Being innovative and creative, finding your own path is the key for recognition and success.

Perhaps, none of these clone projects went successful, yet they all just gone after a while. People might get fooled by them, yes a lot of investors lose their money investing them before they know they got in the wrong investment. There have been many of them and a few of them became successful. It has became the main idea of most projects and they're all following the path of Ethereum.

Yeah and at the end of your thread and you were just shilling for DOT. This is also taking ethereum as basic design to be combined with the new design that already designed by the DOT developers. Basically, parachain was learning from the smartcontract of ethereum and so what's difference?

Yup I’m on same thoughts too. Change is always important to overcome the current problems and accept the better systems. I see avalanche and fantom as the better one, with lower fees and high speed transactions. ETH is obviously the first one and made its perfect time in the crypto space however it’s getting too congested since long and highly impossible to keep up with the fees and stuff.

The thought of not investing into such projects would be lame man. Let’s not get into sink hole of ETH.

Investing in a new project that tries to imitate other project is not something wrong as long as this project is not fully copying ethereum. So many projects have been imitating ethereum but they were also adding their own features which was not a problem.
People can also make money from these new project and why are you feeling contradicted with it? are you getting trapped on DOT? Only people who are loosing were suggesting others to invest in what they have lost.
People have their own decision to make sure if they were investing in the right project.

Crypto projects are open source, most of them are. You can not restrict others to not copy and use your source code. Because of this, we have lot of forks, Bitcoin forks, Ethereum forks, Cardano forks and many copy cats since 2020.

Agree with this one for sure. Ethereum is old technology and upgrading it is like trying to put a rocket on a horse. The better solution is to use newer chains like Flare and the internet computer which integrate Ethereum so that Ethereum can be used in DApps on those respective chains.

Ethereum can't process web3.0 and web 5 yet new projects with smart contract are introducing this utilities, fact is at one point ethereum will get older and if they can't update to these new utilities another project will surely take over.

It's actually difficult to find a project that is totally new. Most times New projects work on the lapses of existing projects and with that, the industry is developing. There are many more projects that are doing better than ethereum, maybe not in value, but in other features which most people find important. The issue of ethereum scalability has been extensively delayed, maybe due to the ethereum 2.0 delay or something unknown to us. These new projects has been able to successfully pass that and it has helped in curbing the cost of transactions.

Unfortunately, many also consider that they can beat Ethereum or become the next Ethereum. But so far, what we can see? Nothing can beat Ethereum. Although the Ethereum network has the weakness of high transaction fees, in fact, is still my favorite.
However, actually, there are also several projects that offer their own network and blockchain that are also worthy, but I personally will not compare or say to replace Ethereum. Because they will always have their own weakness and strength.

I think the newer smart contract platform are deriving from ethereum and then further innovates the features in the same direction as ethereum and that doesn't always means they are just creating another version of ethereum.
Had ethereum didn't have the high gas fee, there's certainly gonna be fewer smart contract that offers significantly lower fee, these newer smart contract just giving solution that the masses needs and at the same time they are offering
more than ethereum currently have. So I think it's fine investing in these newer smart contract.
