Barcelona had a lead and they even had a momentum in this match but just wasnt able to keep up the entire match with Man Utd. Man Utd are playing really good this year and i think they can win the entire thing after beating one of the main favorites for the title.

Barcelona are playing well in La Liga, and it seems they are forced to focus on only one competition, because the status of the team doesn't help them to compete for many titles. In addition, Xavi still has problems on the European side, as Barcelona won only 4 European matches out of 16 played under Xavi's management. I think the better team has qualified, and Barcelona need to support their team with more experienced stars for the next Champions League, considering that they have amazing young players who will improve over the time.

Currently, Barcelona is one of the best teams in La Liga The players of the team have been able to build themselves into excellent coaches from the past to the present. However, they lost the chance of Europa League, now if they fail to achieve something good in La Liga then the team will be in big trouble.

today also the eighth finals were drawn and there is no direct duel of clubs from the same league in all 8 games. in my opinion there is somehow no top duel where you could say that this game could also be the final in europa league.

When I look at the matches, I can say that the favorite teams for me to make it through the round are as follows.
Union Berlin,Fenerbahçe,Juventus,Leverkusen,Arsenal,United,Roma and Feyenoord.
I think that these teams will be the teams that will make the round from the matches. This is my current opinion, there may be injured players according to the match time.

Union Berlin wasnt a favorite in the duel against Ajax but they played really good and deserved to win and advance into the next stage. Leverkusen also barely passed Monaco over penalties and really got lucky in the end. Still will be intresting to see who will win it all.

To be honest, I didn't think union berlin played very well. Ajax had most of the possession. Ajax had more possession and tried to get into more scoring positions but they couldn't capitalize. I was more or less expecting difficulties in this match but I am not surprised that ajax was eliminated. Union berlin is in great form in the league and they are in the championship race.

Union Berlin are one of the impressive teams of the season now. It isn't only in the Bundesliga. They are doing great in the Europa League as well. Eliminating Ajax wasn't an easy task for them of course. But in Germany there was a really strong Union Berlin fighting with them. While Ajax had to focus on the Eredivisie more to climb to the top again there was a big opportunity for Union Berlin to take advantage of. They did it really nicely by a solid 3-1 win. Maybe ball possession percentage was really low for them but it didn't mean anything anyway.

Looking at their next opponent I can comfortably say that Union Berlin can reach next stage as well.

Union Berlin is a good bet, odds are pretty solid, but they already played in group stage, and Royale proved they are not by accident that good in Belgium
Betis and United are not even close to my ticket, generally whole round in Europa league is not worth betting, Sevilla and Juventus being unreliable, Leverkusen has low odds to win, and it is far from secure, Roma and Sociedad should be a goalless draw, but could be fire as well

Probably most interesting pair is Sporting - Arsenal. I'm thinking about backing Arsenal today. Maybe recently Sporting results improved, but in general, they're not doing very well and quality of Arsenal squad is much higher.
Roma - Real Sociedad looks difficult to predict, here I will go over 1.5 goals @1.62 and BTTS in Shakhtar - Feyenoord @1.75
And in general, I hope to see less such careful football with 1:0 or 0:0 scores like in Champions league mainly

Union vs Union, interesting moment that they also played in same group in last season Europa league. Both teams aren't doing great recently, but Union Berlin looks like more solid team, it's difficult to beat them at home, so, I'm also backing them.
Betis is interesting choice, I think they have chances to eliminate MU, but I don't believe in their win today, I rather would go with their win on 2nd leg, though, odds will be significantly lover.

In my opinion, quite a pleasant result for Arsenal, which will solve all issues in the home game.
Surprised by the confident victory of Roma, judging by the statistics, Sociedad was completely outplayed and now their chances at home to equalize are extremely small.

I would be wary of betting on United - look at their game schedule, almost one game every three days. It is not surprising that they failed at Liverpool and I would not be surprised if they are now in an overall functional decline.

Union berlin definitely plays a very weak team for them, Juventus too, Leverkusen too, Arsenal plays Lisbon which is not a "bad" team but Arsenal is just way too good for them, United can easily beat Betis, these are all sure thing in my mind.

I am going to do a parlay and I am pretty sure that I am going to lose them for sure, there isn't a situation where I get all of them right at the same time but I feel like that was the right thing to do, because that would in return give me something decent, definitely a great return for me. I know that it is not going to be easy and it will probably fail but the return would be big enough to make it worth it.

after all, all results were pretty expected, bunch of unreliable teams providing reliable results, and I missed all of them, because I thought it ain't gonna happen

As for Arsenal and Sporting, I think that in the return game Sporting have a chance to win, because this time they showed the same game. Roma have also been a joy to watch. I thought Sociedad could give them problems.

Yesterday we saw goals in all matches. We see that the matches played at 20:45 have more goals. Leverkusen and Roma won at home against weaker opponents and I think they have a big advantage for the round. As for Arsenal, it is good for them not to lose. One of the most surprising results of the day was against Union berlin. Holy cow! The Union Berlin vs. Union SG game was so unpredictable, it's hard to imagine. The entire experience was like riding a thrill coaster. The beautiful game's capacity to surprise me at every turn never fails to amaze me. I'll admit that I didn't have high hopes for the game, but oh, was I ever proven wrong! And even though it saddens me to hear that you lost the wager, I have to say that the excitement of the game more than made up for your financial loss. Finally, I want to say that you were absolutely correct in your assessment of the match between Arsenal and Sporting; it was a tough contest, and I have no doubt that the return leg will be equally stressful. Feyenoord, meanwhile, put forth a dominant performance, but today wasn't their lucky day. Honestly, I didn't expect Fenerbahçe to lose. As a Fenerbahçe fan, I'm sorry. Although we had a lot of positions in the first half, we were not effective in front of goal. If we had been successful and skillful in the last strokes, we had a chance to break the match in the first half. The first half was a 2-0 or 3-0 game for Fenerbahce. In the second half, I can say that Jorge jesus actually gifted the match to sevilla with his decisions. The fact that Irfan can stayed in the game for 87 minutes without doing anything pulled the team backwards.

Arsenal was the one that hit the hardest because I did not just put that in my parlay ticket but I had a single out bet for that one too in case I lose the parlay one to balance it out, and instead I lost both of them and that made it even worse, wish I did not wagered on that game alone, at least I would have lost just one bet, that is a regret but the parlay was not a regret because it was a magnificent one that I knew had a small chance.

But United seems like a time bomb to me - Ten Hag squeezes all the juice out of their players, including with the help of psychological pressure and his games of big boss and discipline. Yeah, of course, it's different. I just feel like most of these names don't really have anything with the league anymore. They won't relegate and some will fight for some Europe spots but in the end this will probably feel like their best chance to win prize money for transfers to strengthen teams while also get a ticket to UCL.

But for sure that's my fantasy manager mentality.

United definitely feels like a timebomb I couldn't agree more. He has improved them all, won a trophy and now expectations are so heavy on people like Rashford.
